I was so pleasantly surprised with this spot for weekend brunch. If you follow my reviews, you know I love a latte and they don't serve lattes but when they do, they can get all five stars. I had the hash special, which was amazing! Wonderful staff to bring it all home. As a bonus, you can pick up a couple market items on your way out. We ate inside, which was cozy, but enough room that you felt like you had your own space. I do have to add that they may have the best biscuit In all of Portland! That is a pretty bold statement to make, but I own it!

I recently tried a couple of sandwiches that I knew I had to share with my yelpers! The red wine braised beef sandwich and the smoked turkey sandwich were both exceptional! While messy, the braised beef is superb! Horseradish spread may not be for all, but it is perfect for the short rib. The smoked turkey is savory and sweet with nice contrast.

This is our second time eating here for the brunch. BLT is the one I ordered from the menu but it's had a little hot sauce on the toast. I ended up removing toast and ate around the rest. Maybe next time I will order what I had last time "The nest".

Happen to be on Dekum for lunch. I've been wanting to try this neighborhood shop, which also serves amazing food. I was not disappointed by the pick. The atmosphere was casual and very comforting. A very charming place. I ordered the jerk chicken over rice, which includes 2 sides. I picked mac and cheese and cornbread. I have to say the jerk chicken was amazingly juicy, and the jerk taste was not too overwhelming but balanced with the chicken quite nicely. Both sides were also made to perfection. The cornbread was super buttery. I would come again.

We were on a leisurely road trip from San Diego to Seattle over the weekend and I saw P's & Q's on the Food Network, so we decided to stop. Best decision! I'll list the experience from start to finish: - As soon as we walked in, the woman behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming. Our server was very attentive and down to earth. - The restaurant itself is so cute and quaint. There is both indoor and outdoor dining. There are wine and other various beverage choices in the refrigerator. - Self service ice water and coffee. - The food,,, was amazing. I wanted the brisket sandwich but they were sold out! That told me a lot! I went with the blackened Cod sandwich and a side of fries. Best fish sandwich I've ever had. We also ordered the Chimichurri chicken plate. It came with rice, veggies, and a very tasty salad that had a vinaigrette. If you're in the Portland area, I would highly suggest you give them a try! You will not be disappointed!

Location is cool, as it's a classic NE Portland renovated mini-mart that we used to frequent in our NE Portland youth. This doubles as unique and eclectic market with some great choices and beverages. The menu choices are cool, and we missed brunch on the day we went. I went with the brisket platter which was solid. The sides were good, yet the brisket could've been a little more tender and juicy. I was satisfied, but I've definitely had a little better brisket. Great community location. Staff was friendly and attentive. My friend went with the Breakfast burrito which he loved.

So finally getting around to saying how great this place is. I have only been able to come in for breakfast/lunch. I think i missed the days when they served dinner pre covid. All our visits have been great with the most excellent food and still reasonable prices especially considering the quality of ingredients they use. Our last visit we were sitting in back tables and could see most of the stock, all high end good stuff. And now they have recently changed to table service so we don't have to be rushed to decide at the counter, very happy with that. Now that i remember we have had one dud here and that is the hash browns. This must be the only thing that is not made in house, just the typical frozen thing like you would get in a fast food place. I would say skip that if you can, just not worth it. I am thinking there is just not room on the grill to be doing good hash.

As a savory girl this is the SPOT. Breakfast places always lean sweet but these guys have excellent savory plates. Also chimichurri is a plus. It's comfortable and laid back inside and the servers are always friendly. The only thing that would make it better is an espresso machine haha.

Was in town for a Pickles baseball game and came across this place on Yelp so we gave it a try. We tried the Polenta sandwich and the smoked brisket sandwich. Both were fantastic! This place knows how to season their food properly. Their is a daily specials board so always check that out before ordering. Can't wait to try it again!

Located at 68th and Glisan, the restaurant has been introduced to the community slowly over the last few months. The owners are currently doing catering and producing prepackaged deli style food for sale elsewhere, but they've also opened their doors to the public on the weekends. Apparently, the intention is to open for extended hours in early November when they'll operate from Wednesday through Sunday. I've only sampled Tusi's Deli Creation dishes sold for prepackaged takeout, but the chicken half moon pie and round pancakes (Panikeke) are so fresh and packed with flavor, I can't wait to visit this weekend to try more! I'll amend my review when I do. In the meantime, the deli is building quite a social media following where they show off some of their dishes, and make announcements about hours, etc. I highly suggest you check them out before they get so popular they begin selling out of inventory!

I called ahead to make sure this wasn't a fluke and the guy answered and reassured me they did indeed have COOKED Samoan food! I got fish, mamoe, muli pipi, with rice and taro. Let me tell you, I don't even think I chewed for the most part. HAHAHA. The food was warm, delicious ,and a comforting in the way that only food from "home" can comfort you. They for sure have blessed hands in the kitchen. I didn't try any of the baked goods or the deserts. But they're an option that I am fully going to take advantage of next time! Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

For this review, though, we'll stick to the meat (& bread, cheese, veggies and condiments) of the matter. In short: yes. Very much yes! My wife ordered the Aunt Tillie's Club, which she saw online and was the impetus for our visit, whereas I waffled between the tuna melt and the Aunt Tillie's Special (basically a grinder), eventually settling on the latter. Both of us were in heaven: sizeable portions, fresh bread, just enough condiments, and plenty of toppings to go around! My wife thought she was going to have to take a least half of it home, then changed her mind and powered through, leaving nothing behind! We dined just outside the restaurant proper, on one of the patio tables in the "mall", but there is plenty of seating inside (just not enough to accommodate the rush, it seems), plus a quaint little pub at the back that is easy to miss, but adds another layer to an already charming sandwich shop. We were both so impressed by the entire experience, that we are guaranteed to return, likely sooner than later! Very recommended!
