We've been sitting here now for over 20 min and no service from the staff and no one to be seen. Its Sunday at 3:00 PM right in the middle of a NFL Sunday. We hit the 30 min mark and just got service. We would have left but already asked a few people to show up here. We won't be making plans for others to come and join us here. So they advertise as a football bar but have NASCAR on over football even when you request to have the channel changed and the bar is full of NFL fans. This place is seriously lacking in customer service and not the greatest food but it is bar food. The biggest thing for me is don't advertise as a football bar if you are going to play the games!! read more

It must have been a pretty off night, because I was told it's a DUI hotspot. There were quite a few cop cars circling outside, but nothing bad happened. We showed up for karaoke, and we actually managed to get quite a few songs in (unlike most karaoke places). The selection was ok, could've been better. I found enough that I could do and had my friends play back-up dancers when I belted out "Say You'll Be There" by the Spice Girls. The food selection was pretty limited, and it was made very clear that there are no substitutions. :o( The service was mediocre as I sat for long periods of time with an empty glass. Best dive bar I've ever been to.! The staff is super friendly. I love Trish.! This bar has karaoke, pool, giant jenga, pull tabs, darts, dancing, and an awesome environment. If you want to have a laid back good time this is the place to go. The crowd has seemed to improved since years ago. Not many issues and good security. The food is a guilty pleasure. So delicious. I always get the nachos and customize them and they are perfect every time. The fact that they have awesome drink specials is also a huge plus.! Definitely a dive bar. A great go to place for everyone! Always the friendliest crowds, fast wait service, and open layout makes this place a fun and easy place to go to no matter how big or small your "entourage" is. Beer pong, billiards, and darts are readily available for your entertainment as well as a large dance floor and scheduled karaoke. The open concept and floor space gives groups of people the ability to actually enjoy the atmosphere, drinks, friendly service, and each other without having to lose their voices. The bar is fine. It's a bar with bar food. The games are great! And it's spacious. Pleasant experience. I had dinner with friend and two beers. I left and forgot to close my tab and get my bank card. I called the next day and the guy that answered said it wasn't there. I asked him to look more and check with last nights bar tender. He told me not to be "snotty" and I must have picked it up l, lost it after I left, then forgot because I had been drinking. I said that wasn't the case and he continued to be rude. That guys as asshole. And they lost my card. Had to cancel the card. Luckily no one had a shopping spree with it. read more

Worst bar around. Customer kept their dog in their car when it was 78 outside. I confronted them and I told them I would not leave until theyb left and they were drunk got in their car and drove around the building. Im not stupid I saw you do it. Don't let the outward appearance fool you. This place is clean and we'll laid out on the inside and they are proud to be a dive bar. Poor service, staff will tell girls that you're a "player" if you talk to any girl. Just bad service from the staff, and the managers don't have any control. Plenty of better bars in the area, avoid this one like the plague. read more

Pub 44 replaces an old, scary looking dive I never wanted to go to. There is a wide array of people, but if you come often you'll start noticing the regulars. Remember, it's still a dive in the heart of Lynnwood... random people will come up and chat, but many are harmless. I can't attest to the food or the pool playing, since I usually come for others to play, but it's a nice place to people watch if loud, blaring music isn't bothersome to you. They have karaoke night very often if you're into that. This bar will always ID at the door (so don't forget!) and be careful around closing time (LPD can usually be spotted across the parking lot). read more

Big screen TV playing Seahawks on game day. Several coin operated pool tables with plenty of room to navigate around. Surprisingly good food with an attention to plating and presentation that is usually reserved for more upscale establishments. Reasonably priced food and beverages. Pleasant staff. We had a great time and will be back mostly for game day billiards. read more

I really like this place, the bartenders are really nice!! Everyone that works here is friendly, alert, and attentive! The food is really good. They have nice portions and a well thought out menu so everything is perfect "drinking" food :) I love the burgers! They have pool tables which is nice. It's got a nice open area everywhere in the whole place which makes it much more comfortable feeling for a group. I would defiantly recommend this place to a friend, It's a cute pub. read more

Felt right at home in this little dive bar. You walk through a hobbit like door right into the bar. To your left you see beer pong tables, dart boards, pool tables, 2×4 Jenga, and Karaoke. Drinks made right and very fast service. Single bartender with a two server floor on a pretty busy night. Very chill vibe. Locals mostly. We fit right in. We came by on a Saturday night and came back every day after until the day we left. Definitely a great time. Drinks are pretty cheap too. Staff super friendly. Very big inside, and they do serve food. Hidden inside a strip mall, but worth finding. Loved that you could gamble a little and drink at the bar, gets a little rowdy. read more

My server was a bartender who approached me while I was in line, and the server in my area definitely wasn't him. I had assumed I should approach the bar for another drink since that's what I did before. Anyways I like this bar usually. Very chill, drinks are good. I came into Lynwood after a long drive late last night after work so I could spend time with my big sister and nephew for the weekend .. I stayed at Embassy suites and of course jumped on YELP to find a place to go grab a drink and pub 44 was 1.6 miles away .. I met 3 of my family members that were in Lynwood at pub 44 where we played 2 games of pool and a game of darts. While we were there , we all 4 got a drink each and tipped the bartender about 8 dollars not like that's a lot but hey that's $2 a drink at the end of the night I'd totally take that . After my long drive I wanted to hear some fun music so I could beat all my grown men cousins at darts (I've been practicing ) . Since I worked late and had to drive a little over a hour from my house to get here, l put just $5 dollars in the machine that plays music and picked two songs by Bruno Mars which is fun upbeat music ! They came and told us after about 15 min that we had 5 mins left to drink our drinks and as we were finishing our game of darts my song finally came on !! I was excited, it gave me some energy to beat these guys !! About 10 seconds into the song it stopped and went to the next song which was my next song by Bruno 24k gold ... about 5 seconds Into that song IT TURNED OFF ALSO .. welll , that was my two songs gone in less than 30 seconds .. I was confused like what happened ? I walked up to the bar and the two men (one older and one possibly in his 30s were standing at the machine behind the bar and were saying something along the line of skipping the next song .. I simply stood there and they turned and looked at me so I said "hey guys, so if you guys skip my songs, do you refund the money I used to pay for them ?. The younger man came and stood right in front of me on his side of the bar of course and in a very loud almost a yell he said "HELL NO" ! I was kind of shocked that he just yelled that at me so I just said "okay" and turned around as the older man said "you guys can't hear it anyways , you guys have to get out, so get out" !! My cousins were walking up towards me when I turned around because the 5 minutes was over and we respect that .. we didn't even finish the darts game but that's alright (I was in 2nd place ) As we were walking towards the door I said to one of my cousins "geeez YELP didn't give us a good suggestion today " , mind you they had absolutely no idea what had just happened because I was the only one that walked up to the bar to see about the music .. we got to the door and the lady waitress (she was heavier set with long hair) walked right behind us and YELLED "GET OUT , BYE FELICIA " . Some may not be aware of the movie that the quote "bye Felicia " comes from . It's called FRIDAY . FELICIA is a young BI-RACIAL FEMALE with braids in her hair .. I AM A 28 year old BI-RACIAL female with braids in my hair.. I was with my family 2 are African American and one is Mexican in Lynwood Washington .. My mind was blown by the horrible customer service and lack of any kind of hospitality shown from this bar. I've worked my same job for almost 8 years , which is a sales and customer service for the most part & I could never treat customers that way ! We came there with respect , spent our well earned money at this place of business . We spent UNDER 1 hour there , wanted to have a drink play a game and hey, why not play a song or two.. usually every Thursday we meet in Tacoma where the bartenders know us at multiple places and treat ALL people with so much love and respect . It was a terrible experience I left feeling shocked and disturbed .. I treat others how I would like to be treated . I don't often leave reviews, but I feel this place deserves one. It has a philosophy I fully support, which is "Do unto us as you would like done unto you." More basically put, you want good service, be nice, and they will do right by you! John, the chef/cook will accommodate your preferences if you're reasonable. Kyle, Krista, Todd, Devin, Trisha, and Knaudia (and probably most other staff) will make you whatever drink or food your heart desires so long as you are polite and kind of know what you want and ask nicely. read more

DON'T HAVE A BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE!! Horibble service from staff and karoke host. Watch for gratuity charge for being a guest invited to a party! Went to this place for a birthday party and the waitress for our table as she put it, was a joke! She was always outside smoking and on the other side of the bar hanging off of the guys while in her shorts in the midlle of winter, my guess trying to work them for tips instead being "our waiter" or a waiter at that. One waitress though (dont remember her name) was awesome. I'd get up and find her and ask her for something and no waiting at all, tipped her well ( i had to order through the waitresses cause my tab was in their computer not the bars). The karoke host also skipped a few of us numerous times and wouldn't fix the rotation. Did not catch until the day after, as for paying they tacked on an 18% gratuity charge to some of us that paid with a card without saying anything before. How they do that for someone paying a separate tab and tipping cash is messed up period for attending a party. And i know for a fact that just one of us tipped $100 alone SO THEY WEREN'T GETTING SHAFTED. I will not be going back to pub 44 for any parties and i know others that will not go now because of this and i doubt even for a weekend drink now. read more

My wife and I paid cash for each drink purchased, but were surprised to be presented with a tab by the server at the end of the night for drinks "we had not paid for". Sorry, we are not the 20's crowd and have been there before. The bar made extra money this evening, but lost potential customers for the future. Recommendation is to order drinks directly from the bar and pay cash. We will not be back. read more

Years ago I worked in a house that took pride in the prime rib special, Friday and Sat, do it or go home...this was okay, but I feel lacked the tender loving that could maybe tender love. They didn't accept my ID because it was out of state, and they claimed that they wouldn't serve my friend and I because we appeared to be intoxicated before we came in when we didn't have a sip of alcohol. This has to be one of the worst dive bars in my experience and the bar tenders were extremely rude. 10/10 would not recommend. read more

Here for the first time, and it's my daughter's 25th birthday. The horribly rude a**holes working there decided to cut my daughter off even though everyone else in our party have had more to drink than her. And after they saw her drinking the beer that she purchased before they cut her off, they threatened to kick her out of the bar and were rude about it. And then the bartender/bouncer/bearded guy asked a couple guys playing pool to watch my daughter and that he would buy them shots for spying on her. And as we were leaving, my wife and I told him that was wrong and that there were many people in the bar who had considerably more to drink than our daughter, he said it didn't matter and that he cut her off anyway and told ALL OF US not to come back. This place just lost the business of 10 people because they stopped taking out of state id's and we had people up from Oregon. The wait staff was rude and there was no one there but that stupid rule just lost them another 10 patrons and they will never see anyone that I can talk to again. Good job pub 44. Hope business.... Well if you come here for karaoke they do have a decent selection of songs.. Usually you can get a couple in but the Wednesday night karaoke took a backseat to the dj playing whatever he felt like and only letting 3 people sing in an hour and a half.. One of them was himself. The same five people were on deck waiting to sing the rest of the night but nope, a solid hour went by after the "dj" sang and then he says "sorry guys we are out of time for singers.." Well what about the last hour and a half? There was plenty of decent voices out there waiting to go up.. 10+ ppl. If you are gonna end the show at 12:15 or 12:30 you should let us know so we can spend our money at places actually hosting karaoke. And you know... We won't tip a karaoke dj that doesn't let people sing.. read more

Unfortunately, this bar hasn't changed much after the new name sign went up. (Except, perhaps, the food menu? or new cook?? I'm not exactly sure there.) Also unfortunate- every time I've been in, the crusty, customer-hating, accented, old lady behind the bar spoils my trip. She's pretty awful. The karaoke is always too loud when they've got that whole party going down. The drinks are over priced and weak. If you're into standard pub food, you'll be alright there. However, fear not, consider this: There's another bar in the same shopping lot...look around...it's not so crusty at the other place. Security guy name Andrew interrupt me from having a conversation with a young lady saying that the woman does not want to talk to me but she was apparently responding back in a polite conversation. Apparently the security needs to learn when someone is sober vs drunk and belligerent. The woman I was talking to did not tell me to leave. Moved to Lynnwood in Sept, 2012 and was just looking for some new, chill bars to go to. Went to Pub 44 one day and apparently it was '80s night. This definitely is a dive type bar. Some sort of nautical-like theme. Definitely outdated decorations, etc. Looked like they had drinks special, and a normal bar food menu. There were darts, pool tables, kareoke, bar counter, tables, etc. I was actually impressed that they had some servers walking around to take your drink orders. That's kind of nice so that you don't have to go up to the bar and stand in line, and then lose your seat. I'm not sure if it was busy because of 80s night, but I found it difficult to find a table for 4. A couple of us had to stand. Which is fine, but we were planning to hang out for a while, and this just makes for awkward conversation. Overall, if you are going for a laid back, cheaper drink, this is a place to go. read more

This is a dive bar in Lynnwood and lives up to the reputation. Cool and laid back enough to make anyone feel comfortable. The food might give you some indigestion (bring Tums), but it is the pub food I am normally looking for. I can't put my finger on it, but I keep finding myself going back. read more

The couple of karaoke hosts here are very friendly as well.
