Food used to be delicious & fresh. Now the squash puppies are way greasy. The spicy chicken nachos: way too cheesy, little chicken and I could count the beans with one hand and cilantro overload. Even though it says nothing about cilantro in the menu. Chili lime chicken salad, again, cilantro overload while there's no mention of it in the menu. Dessert: the bread pudding that was highly recommended was probably the worst bread pudding I've ever had. Service: very good! Pub W is in our regular rotation of go-to spots. We return because the food is reliably tasty. Last time in I discovered my newest favorite menu item... the habanero pimento cheese burger [$13] and substituted a pretzel bun for the standard bun with a side of squash puppies substituted for the fries. It. was. awesome. It was the best meal I can remember having here in a while, and I always have a good meal, no matter what I order. In classic gastropub style, they have an extensive drink menu...one of the most extensive in the area. From EÔTÉ coffee to Topo Chico to top shelf whiskey + tequila drinks, to craft draft beer and locally made beer too, they've got good drinks covered. Service is overall good, sometimes it could be better. They have SO many TVs to catch the game. Sometimes it feels the staff is very bothered to help me find the game I'm dying to watch and that really is a bummer because that is sometimes the reason we chose to come to have dinner out because there's a game that I can't see at home. Went for the first time yesterday, had crispy shrimp lettuce wraps, fisherman's platter and churros. Everything came out quick and hot. Went back again today for fish and chips. Hopping place on a Friday night! We had a 40-minute wait for a party of two. Trying to eat healthier, so we tried bruschetta chicken and baked salmon. Both were just okay. The chicken was bland, but the tomatoes were delicious, so that helped. read more

Last two times have gone in for the Happy Hour we were mischarged for higher priced drinks. The last time was upsold a bourbon for $18 vs the $3.95 special and my wife was a bait and switch on the Chardonney (asked for the special but was charged $13 per glass - "oh were misunderstood"). I've now been to Pub W twice. I have visited the Memorial Road location as well as the second street in Edmond location. Both times the food was hot and very good! I have had the club sandwich and the fried chicken. The sides with the fried chicken was green beans and mashed potatoes and they were perfectly cooked. We came a little before opening thanks to a surgery this morning not too far from here. We decided to try something new so we went to Pub W - the ambiance was so soft and gentle especially for being a pub. Our waitress was incredible with helpful tips and reviews of what to try. The place is so quiet even with music on, granted it is lunch time. I'd love to see this place come alive in the evening/at night. The food is outstanding! We decided to give this place another chance after a bad experience. This time wasn't much different. There are a few positive things worth mentioning: The wait staff was extremely attentive. The ambiance was good. The music was not too loud. The margarita I got wasn't the one I ordered, and it was small... but it was happy hour and it still tasted very good. The chicken nachos came out burnt and were inedible. The concern about them was that they were clearly burnt (picture here) and they passed through multiple employees who didn't notice the issue. We sent them back and they came out over-cooked but edible. The wedge salad was ok. The veg stew was actually better than I thought it would be. It had a nice Mexican spice flavor. We felt our experience overall was slightly better than mediocre. read more

We really like Pub W! We always receive excellent service and the food is wonderful. It is my toddler's favorite restaurant, I think! He loves the pigs in a blanket and the house made pickles. I love the pretzel burger (the baby loves to sneak bites of my burger as well) and my husband bounces around, but he usually gets the chicken & Brie sandwich or the fisherman's platter. The French fries here are delicious. Crispy and well seasoned! They have a great menu and a lovely bar. I'm giving 4 stars only because the prices are pretty high for the portion sizes. I stopped in for lunch the other day to get a break from the reason I was in town. There was ample seating at the bar and the bartender was quick and attentive. I got the Bacon Avocado Burger, which is definitely recommend. My only complaint would be the draft beer size; in my experience the serving size for a regular IPA is 16oz, but the hazy IPA I ordered was served in a 10oz Tulip glass, which would typically be reserved for a double/imperial IPA. read more
