Drilled hole by Thieves
Shar G.

If your ready to get robbed, then put your valuables in this storage. The staff nor corporate will care when it happens nor will they help you. In fact they are most likely in on it and don't care. From the 1st robbery till the 2nd no repair was made nor had we been contacted. We were left to deal with it. Our storage unit was broken into twice within two weeks! The top was peeled back and that's how it was accessed. We could see that other units had also been broken into. We didn't get an apology or anyone checking on our unit. In fact my partner was harassed by one of the staff while assessing what was stollen. Please pay a Little more and find a more secure storage. It seems most public storages are broken into and no one does anything about it. The police warned us that it's a ring operation and they are very well aware of it. Luckily we had some fingerprints to give the officers. Please consider yourself warmed

Culver City Public Storage Destroyed Property

Rip Off Scam Public Storage Culver City Destroyed My Property, Refused To Pay Insurance Claim, Demanded $750 Lien Payment on My Public Storage Ruined Property If you want to have your Public Storage stored personal property Destroyed by water damage, be lied to by management, have your storage locks broken and your personal contents stolen and be threatened by Public Storage management, then Public Storage Culver City on National Blvd is for you. As a long term Public Storage client with 3 different Public Storage units of more than 10 years each, our company contracted at this particular Culver City Public Storage facility. Never Again! In September 2019, massive water damage of our property stored in the unit was discovered by us and Public Storage Manager 'Ashlee' who was present and confirmed the water damage and took photos. Ashlee also repeatedly confirmed that Public Storage would pay our company for the substantial damage and instructed me Not to pay rent on this Public Storage unit. Ashlee advised that she and her manager Mr McGhee would 'take care of it' For more than 3 months Culver City Public Storage and Mr McGhee refused to respond despite more than 12 calls and emails Upon returning to review the remaining contents, Manager Celeste advised that Public Storage changed my locks ( without notice ) locked me out of my unit and liened my remaining property for $750! She said if I did not Immediately Pay $750 Plus Late Fees they would sell all my remaining Public Storage contents this Monday! Celeste also lied to Manager McGhee that she 'had Not heard Ashlee and my discussion. Manager Celeste Intentionally Omitted Mentioning That She Had Not Heard Ashlee and My Discussion Because She Was Not Working There When This Occurred. Bad Management and Horrific Customer Service. Mr McGhee said it would be fine with Public Storage if our company sued.

It makes more sense to pay that towards rent to move into a bigger apartment! What happened to reasonable prices? A 10x10 should cost around $60 a month. I cannot believe people are actually paying these prices.... use that money to move into a bigger home or buy a shed at Home Depot (for those who own houses). This is a bloody joke. If these places are really getting away with these insane prices, it is because people are willing to pay for it... guys, use the money towards renting a bigger place with storage.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This storage company has the worst customer service I've ever…read moredealt with. Rude, dismissive, and totally unprofessional. I guess I missed a single payment for the FIRST time. I was on auto-pay, so there really shouldn't have been any reason my payment was missed. It was clearly a system error or oversight on their end because when I went into their dashboard and clicked "retry payment" with the card on file, it processed just fine. I wasn't even notified of the missed payment until after their supposed "grace period" had passed -- and that's when the mess started. They sent an email explicitly stating that no late fee would be applied if I paid that day. I paid that day. They charged me anyway and then claimed the cutoff was actually the day before. When I asked why they sent out a misleading email, I didn't ask for a refund -- just a basic explanation. Instead, I got snarky, defensive replies via text. No accountability at all. To make it worse, they claimed they couldn't do anything unless I proved the date and time of the email they themselves sent -- as if I was making it up. Insulting, especially since I wasn't even asking for a refund, just clarity. After I forwarded the exact email back to them, clearly showing the timestamp and wording, their response was basically, "Yeah, it says that... but too bad." Only then did they suddenly produce a log of emails -- including the one they claimed I had to prove -- and introduced a completely new explanation about a "cutoff date" and failed payment attempts that had never been mentioned before. They just kept shifting the story instead of owning the mistake. The facility is just as bad. I'm at the one in mid-city, off Wilshire. Their app never works for building access. I couldn't even get into my unit for three weeks because their lock was broken, and since there's no one on site, I had no way of getting in. When I finally reached someone, they acted like I should be understanding because "they were working on it." but couldn't give me a date it would be fix and you better believe I was still paying with no access. But when it's their turn to be flexible -- not a chance. The building isn't weather-tight (yes, despite it being inside an office building! it's still musty), and the locks barely function. Moving in or out takes forever because there's one elevator for at least a dozen floors and you have to share it. It makes moving in extremely difficult and time consuming. Bottom line: they make mistakes, gaslight you when you call it out, and treat customers like a burden. Store your things literally anywhere else. Don't let their move in pricing specials bait you.

So I said its fine I will just go to another place. 3 weeks later im sent a move in day text. I called and said I never saw the property, nor do I have the address so how Can I be moving in. I told the representative I would just rather cancel. Now a month later I am charged 90 dollars and sent messages to move in my stuff. I already found a new storage location. I have been calling to be reimbursed and they all keep giving me the run around. Scam
