I LOVE this storage facility! I was kinda traumatized after my previous storage unit at a non public storage location got broken into and almost everything was damaged/stolen... HOWEVER, this public storage is very well kept and very secure. I LOVE Ashley! She's the manager at this location and she is so easy to talk to. When I first got my storage unit here I was impressed by how customer service oriented she is. She always says hi when she sees me and lets me know shortly before they close which I always appreciate. Ashley is so sweet and it made me kinda sad to tell her that I would be moving my belongings out. But whenever I need to rent a storage space in the area I will definitely come back to this specific location, just because I know my belongings will be safe here. But for anyone who's looking to store there belongings in this area, I highly recommend this location! read more

Ok so Ashley the manager is thee best, my girl usually fills out these Yelp reviews. So sorry for whoever I just wrote a paragraph on your response about Ashley. I've been here since Jan 2021 and Ashley was a breath of fresh sunshine air, even during the pandemic has always been so helpful, and keeps you updated, especially when moving or storing your belongings at a place where she really made me and I'm sure others very secure, and very responsive and caring. Our daughter is a student at USC in Los Angeles and instead of driving to get all her things when school ended last spring, we had her move all her stuff into this storage center. It was so easy to set everything up online! Then she went there and Ashley was AWESOME! She showed my daughter the unit, how to work the lock, and how the access gate worked. It was such a wonderful experience! When we moved her out of the storage last weekend to go back to school, it was just as smooth and hassle free. I was able to thank Ashley in person for being so kind to our daughter and making it super easy. I can not recommend this place enough. The location can be rough on the outskirts, but the facility itself is very secure and clean. 10/10 stars! read more

Their introductory rates are a total scam. We rented a unit about a year ago. The contract does state that rent may go up at any time, but we were assured by management that it rarely happens and when it does, the increase is only about 5% per year. Here we are, a year later, and we just got our 2nd notice of a substantial increase to our rent. With this latest increase, our rent is now 27% higher than it was a year ago! Outrageous. This company is clearly hoping that (a) people on autopay won't notice them jacking up the rent again and again or (b) they won't want to be bothered with moving all their stuff and will just put up with it. It's almost like extortion: "whattaya gonna do, move?" Well, yes. The staff and facilities at this location are generally nice, but the price hikes are outrageous and deceptive. Beware! read more

Needed to store some items and came to this Public Storage location. Immediately, I was addressed in the most professional and courteous manner by the employee Ashley. She was helpful, informative and very easy to work with. There was another employee (a young African American man) who was also very courteous and helpful. The premises are clean and tidy, as well as the storage unit. I downloaded Public Storage app to my phone, which made it a breeze to access the gate, pay my bill and keep record of all bills and receipts. Storing personal property is expensive. Make sure to have insurance. I use public storage for the one promo, $1 for the first month. Normally, I don't store more than a few car loads of items, and for a few months I had jumped around in between locations. I have a coupe stories about PS. The fact that there is only one person working and the manual time-clock the office uses to tell you if there on break or will be back isn't current or approximate. I had come, read the sign, left and came back, yet no one was there to help. Normally I don't needed a dolly, but this day I did. I had the boxes in my car for a couple days before I came back and the same thing happened. It was discouraging to so the least. At some point I took that damn manual time-clock hanging in the window and threw it all around before I took it hostage. I did return. There were some words. Things worked out but it's coots way too much money to store your personals with so much limited access hours and office personnel. Check me if I'm wrong. read more

Been a long time renter at this facility. Generally my experience has been a pleasant one, but I've had repeat issues with one employee in particular. Over the phone I was met with an attitude that was not very customer service friendly. It is what is, it's a storage facility and I don't expect much or any face-time with employees but entering the facility with looks of disdain or suspicion instead of a friendly demeanor is off-putting. Signed up here last week to take advantage of the first month free deal Public Storage locations offer from time to time. I met with Fernando, the manager here to handle my paperwork and go over the unit. He got me signed up and in and out of the office in 15 minutes. I highly recommend him and this location. It's not too busy, and Fernando is always available when you need assistance. There is a residential manager there as well so you have some added security after hours. Came here after leaving the Extra Space Storage on Pico (which I highly recommend you NOT going to) and had a very stressful day moving and trying to figure out a place to go. Found the Public Storage on google and found out that it had the "first month $1" special. Awesome! Went there and the girl that helped us, Kenyon, was soooooooo helpful. She welcomed us with a smile and excellent customer service. It was so refreshing to be treated so kindly and professionally after a loooong day of horrible customer service everywhere else I had been. Kenyon quickly showed us to the storage space which was conveniently on the first floor and right by the door. Awesome! After I told her I'd take it, she even rolled a moving cart up to the front office for me to start loading my stuff on. So considerate of her. She gave me all the information and helped me to fully know all the policies of Public Space. Quick and easy. Beyond Kenyon delivering exceptional service, the Public Space had better gate hours than the Extra Space I had previously been with and was much cleaner. If you're looking to store your stuff, definitely come here. Rates are what you expect in the city, but the great service definitely makes this one stand out above the rest. read more

John was great! Very knowledgeable and he made sure that we got the best storage area for our needs. This location is decent the office and the ground are fairly clean, the unit we ultimately selected was clean and I didn't notice any undesirable smells. I am a little concerned about the hidden costs; 19.99 for the lock and "required" monthly insurance. Unfortunately after the fact, I checked out a YouTube video and learned you ARE NOT required to buy their insurance (I'm going to see if I can get my money back). Thank goodness that they were decent about prorating the monthly fee. I've been doing business with Public Storage for about 6 months and they have already raised my small storage rent from $118 to $139.00.. I would give zero stars if it was possible. Customer service is simply non-existent. They never respond to phone messages--not even the district manager!--the office is eternally closed and they keep their one moving cart locked up in there, the light outside my unit has not functuoned for months despite repeated calls asking that it be fixed, including one to aforementioned non-responsive district manager. Also never responded to my message about suspicious guy who obviously waited for me to enter gate code, then walked away with a huge heavy backpack, looking back to see if anyone was following. This is crap. They need to change policy. I paid my monthly bill of 164.00 do as not to be late or delinquent. I moved out and closed my account on the 6th. I was then informed that i did not get a refund for the rest of the month, since it is a month to month rental. WHAT THE HELL. If i had known that i would have withheld my total payment and just moved out. This is not right!!!!!! read more
