Probably one of the more unique dessert places in washington. I really enjoy visiting this parlor. Their decor is on par with the name and it's so clean and organized inside. I was also surprised by their selection of desserts. Yes their puffy pandy's are their specialty, but they have several other types of desserts in a surprising range of flavors. I think they are on to something with the puffy treats. I tried both their ice cream filled pandy and their regular pandy. Both amazing, but not too over the top. Some colorful desserts like this are so full of sugar I dont even finish all of it. These are a nice balance. Their branding is unmatched. They have a really cool theme and merchandise that is also cool and worth purchasing. Combine all of this with their decent customer service and you have a wining formula in my opinion. Puffy Pandy is the cutest business in White Center, or perhaps, all of King County. A panda-themed shop that sells cream puffs, boba and panda accessories? Sign me up. I finally visited Puffy Pandy on a Friday afternoon and it was everything I had heard it was and more. So many people had recommended Puffy Pandy to me and now I know why, it has delicious treats and you can sit and enjoy your delicious treat inside while watching the panda live cam from China. Yeah, that shit is real. At Puffy Pandy, they have a large menu of different treats, from cream puffs of various flavors, ice cream, tartlets, macarons and teas of all kinds, from milk to fruity ones and smoothies. I had to get an ice cream puff sandwich and chose the cookie monster one, which was basically vanilla ice cream that's blue with Oreo and chocolate chip cookie pieces. Once you order this, they warm up the cream puff, so that it's nice and soft, but still holds up the ice cream. I also ordered the Magical Mango drink, which was a mango smoothie with mango chunks and mango jelly. GET THIS IF YOU LOVE MANGO. It's magical, indeed. I'm so glad I learned about Puffy Pandy, so whenever I'm in the White Center business district, I know where to go for that sweet treat and a smile since everything here is panda themed. If you haven't tried an affogato, do it now. The flavors slowly meld together. You pull out a spoonful of ice cream drenched in espresso. The cutest cafe in Seattle! They have lots of panda merchandise you can buy, like sweaters, keychains, hats, stuffed animals, stickers, lapel pins, headbands, jewelry and more. I ordered the pandan milk tea with boba, my husband ordered the mango milk with boba, and we shared a pandan ice cream puffy and took home a small box of the assorted mini macarons. For the boba drinks, we love that you can adjust the sweetness and milk alternatives to your liking. It was our first time trying pandan and it is delicious in a dessert! I would describe the flavor as if taro and pistachio had a baby. Yum, my new favorite! The ice cream with the cookie sandwich on the outside was best eaten with a spoon, and you best know that I enjoyed every bite and scraped the side of the cup. Super welcoming and helpful with all of the guests questions. Cream puffs are sooooo so so fresh! First visit I only bought 4 and completely regretted that decision once I tried them in the evening. Cream puffs: haven't tried all the flavors before this review, but so far the cookies and cream is my favorite! Their flavors have a really good taste like the original, like the apple pie totally tastes just like an apple pie. My partner says the peanut butter cup tastes exactly like Reese's peanut butter cups. Trust. Also, the filling ratio is fat. Lots of filling in these little guys! After our great experience at Puffy Pandy, we moved forward and picked them as our wedding party favors! People sadly had mixed reviews about it, but we absolutely loved the design and overall taste. My husband picked them up the day before the wedding and since they gave us extras, he and his best man decided to try a couple on the day of to see if it was still fresh and thankfully, it was. Shell was crumbly, chewy, and the inside was full of ube flavor. Did not go skimpy with the filling. Even the day after, the taste remains the same. My favorite dessert spot in Seattle! Not too far from SeaTac, so it's the perfect stop when traveling. My boyfriend loved the macarons here. You need to try their cream puffs! My favorite flavors are the pandan and ube! The filling is PACKED with smooth and thick custard. My friend and I easily shared a dozen. This has got to be the CUTEST store I have ever been to. How can anybody walk by without stopping in??? Their cream puffs are SO DELICIOUS. The pandan, durian and ube are my fave. Just the right ratio of cream to puff for my liking and not overly sweet. The macarons are also delicious and there are many flavors to choose from. Anyways, the store is very cute and aesthetic, there's street parking but it's not bad. The people are pretty nice, always seem helpful. This, time, I tried them again and it was soo much better. The cream has a nice texture and they filled each cream puff with so much of it. And the shell has a subtle crunch which was nice. Came here with my little niece, as it's one of her favorite little bakeries in the Seattle, WA area! The place is just as you'd imagine, full of pandas everywhere, but had a lot of character! The shop itself is such a cute and bright place, in contrast to that day's gray skies outside, so I already loved it when I stepped inside. I shamelessly ordered almost everything on the menu, and let me tell you - it was *chef's kiss.* First of all, the store itself is really cute. Bamboo and panda decor along the walls, and lots of panda merch from keychains to teeshirts! The staff was very friendly, prompt, and helpful. The PUFFIES: the chou-créme puff balls filled with different flavors were a delight! I think the ones I normally get in chinatown are usually a bit stale or too soft. But the puffies here are the perfect texture!!! Slightly chewy pastry, and crunchy on the outside. And the creme itself was sweet and flavorful, but also light and the perfect amount of creamy. My mouth was very happy. 10/10! The MANGO PUDDING - a mix of gelatinous and creamy in terms of texture. And contrary to the normally too sweet ones I get from hmart or chinatown, the ones here have a nice tangy flavor. I love tart & fruity sweets such as lemon bars or the plain flavor of froyo so I really enjoyed this spin on the traditional mango pudding. 9/10! The CO-PANDAN TEA - to be honest, I didn't really taste tea flavor, or pandan flavor... to me it tasted more like vietnamese coffee. Not sure if they just used a tea more like Hokkaido in terms of flavor profile, but I'm not mad about it! I like vietnamese coffee too, so it was good. The boba was similar to gummy bear level in chewiness. 8/10! The PUFFY ICE CREAM SANDWICH - I was lucky enough to get a half & half of Thai tea & White rabbit flavor, topped with fruity pebbles. I don't think they normally do half & half, but they do do ice cream tastings! The puff pastry was more than 2x the size of the normal cream puffies, and texture was even more enhanced. The ice cream was creamy and sweet/flavorful. The white rabbit ice cream tasted more like the candy than the cream in the puffy (on 1/27/23, but they may update their recipe ). Add in the delicious ice cream, the beautiful texture of the puffy pastry, and the crunchy fun fruity pebbles and you've got yourself a 12/10 sensory experience!!! Discovered a new, trending cafe in about 20 minutes away from Seattle! Was craving bubble tea and this was the closest and most similar place we found-- but then I also remembered seeing it on Instagram recently :) we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. The white rabbit one came close too.. but it tasted more milky and vanilly than the actual candy-- still delicious though! The Ube Pudding had mixed reviews. We each got a pudding.. my two friends really enjoyed the syrup that came along with it and they finished mine for me. I thought the texture was a little too tough and something was off for me. However, I usually like Uber flavoured desserts.. so I was surprised I didn't really like this one. They had different sizes macarons available, in super adorable packages as well. This location is the old Macadon's place that is owned by the same woman who has converted this place to a panda themed ice cream and other treat shop. There are several sweet offerings from mini cream puffys, pudding, and macarons. For drinks they offer all kinds of flavored teas including the popular milk teas and Vietnamese coffee drinks. The real treat is the Ice Cream Puffy. This is a puff pastry that is split open, toasted, stuffed with your choice of ice cream and then, if desired, rolled in Fruity Pebbles or cornflakes for added crunch. These are delicious and an unique take on the tried and true ice cream sandwich.
