hidden from the street, Pullman Standard is a standout spot once your inside! They've got great cocktails with a wide range of selection. Their martinis & old fashions were delicious! Our server was a bit busy and difficult to get an order in with, but clearly doing the best with so many tables! We couldn't quite decipher if we were supposed to wait to be seated or not, so I'd recommend some signage or a host to support this!

Amazing dark cozy atmosphere for this seaming hidden gem. Had a couple of wonderful options for whiskey flight/tastings. Super chill place with great music. Bartender Iojana was very helpful with the whiskey selections and such great service made us feel at home.

A New York speakeasy in Nashville. The decor was classy. The menu is simple but inviting when you are not looking for a sit down dinner. The drinks were well prepared although a making from scratch can significantly increase the value point. Currently, the bar tender used premixed ingredients rather than mixing organically. The food items are very versatile. They can be shared or be you own dinner dishes. The noise level is low, giving you a relaxed feel. Nightly recommend.

Pullman Standard is my go to for excellent ambiance, delicious cocktails, kind bartenders. It is such a great escape from the craziness of broadway, and really feels like a place that isn't in Nashville, but somewhere in New York or Europe. The space is welcoming and stunning with huge windows, and every cocktail I've ever had is hand crafted and delicious. The bartenders are skilled but incredibly friendly - when we received an espresso martini garnished with Pocky, I mentioned I love Pocky and they gave me an extra as a snack - just great people. Haven't had their food yet but it looks delicious. Such a great spot that is unique and different from other cocktail bars in the area!

Incredible don't-miss place in Nashville, a little off the beaten track. Expert cocktails and surprisingly delicious bar bites. Quiet, cool vibe.

To start the focaccia bread and deviled eggs were amazing! The bread was so good and warm! I also tried their new shrimp cocktail and holy smokes they were some big shrimp! Cocktail sauce was perfect! Also had the chicken tacos and it was delicious! Thank you Chris and Iojana for the wonderful experience! 10/10 would come back! Also the decor and music were perfect! Love this place and can't wait to come back!

Went here on a Saturday night before heading to Broadway. The space was super quaint and cute, very speakeasy-esque. The waitress was nice and engaging. Our drinks had a couple of new ingredients in it! I think I had a maitai that had frangelico in it- it was delicious. Definitely more our speed than Broadway ended up being

What's the parking situation? Is it just the pay lot at the art museum? Any free parking near?

There is a paid parking lot in front of Cummins Station and paid street parking along the front of the building as well (10th Ave S). There use to be free street parking along the side streets a bit further down but with the changes in downtown, I'm…

Stoke Haus Brewing & BBQ is hands down the best BBQ experience of my life!…read more A few helpful tips before you go: parking is a little limited right in front and the entrance is easy to miss. There is additional parking around the side in an open lot that felt safe, was free (at least currently), and was super convenient. Once you arrive, walk around the left side of the building and order inside at the bar. They'll give you a pager, and when your food is ready, you'll head outside to the food truck for pickup. When we first walked in, I have to admit I thought, "What is that smell?" Then I realized it was the giant brewing vats and the smell of the beer-making process. Once I connected the dots, I actually started appreciating it and felt it added to the experience and the authenticity of the brewery. We tried their signature beer, a quality dark ale that paired perfectly with our meal. It had a great depth of flavor and was the perfect complement to the BBQ. For food, we ordered and split: Half order of ribs: incredibly tender with a crispy, flavorful top. They were packed with flavor and came with two dipping sauces. I preferred the BBQ sauce over the Carolina-style sauce, but both were enjoyable. Brussels sprouts: OH MY GOODNESS. I genuinely did not know vegetables could taste this good. Even my veggie-hating partner loved them, which honestly says everything. These were a standout. Mac & cheese: visually, this was beautiful and looked like it was going to be a favorite. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the way I expected and wasn't as satisfying as I hoped. THE BRISKET BURGER = THE STAR OF THE SHOW! I have never had a brisket burger before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was phenomenal. The Gouda cheese was incredible, and the combination of the mayo, pickles, and sauce created the perfect balance of flavors. It was everything you want in a burger and more. This is the dish I will be telling everyone about. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was fantastic. They have board games in the back, and it looks like they host karaoke nights, which gives the space a really fun, community-oriented feel. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. Great food, great beer, great people, and a unique experience. Stoke Haus is a must-visit and if you go, do yourself a favor and order the brisket burger. You won't regret it.

We needed to eat before beginning our 2 hour drive home. I wanted BBQ but not from a chain. Not…read moresomewhere with a shiny sign, rocking chairs on the front porch, a front porch. You know the places I'm talking about. No, I wanted somewhere authentic. In a neighborhood, not near the mall. A place most people would drive past. Stoke Haus is all this and more. Much more. 2pm on Sunday and the parking lot was full. (I'm sure a good handful was for the liquor store next door). The first issue - how do you get in?? There is no front door. There is a tall wooden fence on the side of the building. I peek through the gap between the fence and the wall. A long smoker, a pile of wood, a small food truck (what???). I see a couple leaving the building by a side door. This must be it. There is a sign taped to the door: order at the bar and pick up at the truck. Following instructions, we approach the bar. The couple next to me just got their food. OMG. That looks so good. I ask what they have...brisket, a pulled pork sandwich, German potato salad, cole slaw, fried okra and a little pile of pickles and marinated onions. I don't even look at the menu. "I want that" I tell the bartender. We each order a beer (I forgot to mention that this is a brewery too). We received our beer and a buzzer, found a table and proceeded to play on our phones until the buzzer went off. My husband went outside to the food truck and came in with a metal tray nearly overflowing with food. We didn't waste a second digging in. The brisket was incredibly tender with a most amazing bark. A little too fatty, even for brisket, but still a "must order". The sandwich was absolutely stuffed with tender, juicy pulled pork. Perfection. The sides, especially the potato salad were excellent (though the okra wasn't made from scratch, it was still worthy). The pickles? That final little "oomph". Our meal wasn't just a home run, it was a grand slam! I've written a lot of reviews. I've written a lot of 5 star reviews. I'd love to be able to give Stoke Haus 10 stars. This is definitely a don't miss!!

Need less to say we continued inside. I'm no sure if this is handicap assessible as we walkeeld up a lil incline to steps. When entering we were looked at in a way that was not warming. However, a voice came from the bar area with directions. We chose to to the flight. The choices were selected with a little help from the bar. They came out pretty quickly. The tasting started and it out of 5, only one did not have a nasty and strong hoppy/bitter after taste. The select were Passion fruit, Hippies and Cowboy, Southern Wit, Urban Hiker, and Wildwood. As we spent our time no one seem to as if we needed anything or if our selection were ok. We got some "why are you in here type" looks. I was not impressed by this brewery. The customer service and my sensing of being not welcome was high. Note we were the only patrons. I would not return.
