Didn't realize that the eight bucks I would be paying for each drink was to pay for ice. The taste is okay--definitely had better. I got their signature juices Bloody Scarlet and Orange You Healthy, with a Buttercup Acai Bowl, which were all tasted amazing and refreshing with a perfect amount of sweetness. With the first sip, I could tell the juices were made from real fresh fruits and vegetables. The packaging is cute, juice in a pouch. We each got a different drink to try and enjoy - my wife got the Berry Good Smoothie, my Siblings each got the Pear Me Up and Squeeze Me, and I decided on the healthier option of Green Giant. The juices were all great in flavor - they tasted fresh and they were made on the spot. I got the pouch for my Green Giant which was nostalgic, as another Yelp Reviewer noted, from other drinks around the world. The Berry Good Smoothie had a nice consistency and no clumps (which is a big deal to us), and the Pear Me Up and Squeeze Me were very flavorful. A special note but not enough to lower the stars is that the Pear Me Up had a stronger orange taste that overpowered all the other flavors and tasted similarly to the Squeeze Me. The Green Giant was very healthy tasting and would have preferred a little more cucumber but that's just my palette. The ambiance was really soothing and they had a small library where you can take a book and leave a book in the future. We read one of the books that was there but didn't take it. Definitely coming again and bringing my used books to add to their small library. read more

I was feeling sluggish and needed a boost so I decided to try this place out and it was pretty good! Walking in, I already got a calming ambiance by the look of the place. It's small, but there's a lot of plants, plenty of seats, and a cute setup for a photo as well as a neat tiny library. I came here with my partner and we ordered the Lime Crime, Green Giant, immunity shots, and a ham n cheese croissant sandwich. Okay so I gave this place a shot since it's so close to my job and if I could give it 0 stars I would . I ordered the honey comb açaí bowl and there was barely any granola probably like one strawberry cut and like maybe 4 blue berries . I paid $10 for this bowl and I would expect more. They took like 15 mins to make it too and it wasn't very cold (the açaí) I ordered ginger shots too and they have them pre made already which personally I prefer mine to be made in the spot not just sitting there on the front counter (come on not even at Jamba Juice) anyways hopefully the owner reads this because I had higher hopes for this spot. read more

I have been to Pulp numerous times for acai bowls and will not be returning. FOR A GOOD ACAI BOWL, GO TO BLUE BOWL which is located at the Orange Circle. They have more choices of toppings, bases, granola, sweeteners, powders and make the best acai bowls by far. Their customer service is also excellent. I wanted to support small business, but at Pulp, the menu is limited and the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a LONG WAIT...even with phone orders. One time, I placed my order and then went next door to Waba Grill for two chicken bowls. By the time I came back with my Waba order, the workers at Pulp hadn't even started working on my two acai bowls. Another time, tired of waiting, I decided to call in my order. I arrived ten minutes after placing the phone order, and they hadn't even started making my bowls, yet four people were working behind the counter. I finally stopped going to Pulp and moved my business to Blue Bowl after they messed up on my order and tried to charge me for it. It's fine that the mistake was made, as no one is perfect, but charging the customer is not taking responsibility for the mistake. I ordered two acai bowls; they were placed in a bag; and when I took them out to eat at home, I found out that were made incorrectly. I immediately called Pulp, telling them I didn't have time to drive back. The person on the phone said that she would make things right. When I returned a couple days later, I ordered two more bowls, thinking they wouldn't charge me since they messed up on my previous order. I explained the entire situation, and they refused to give the bowls for free, saying that they were expensive to make and that I claimed to eat them. Since I continued to complain, they offered one bowl for free, as if they were doing me a favor. They seemed to have forgotten that they made the mistake, not me. Whether the bowls were eaten or not was irrelevant to their mistake on the order. I ended up walking out of Pulp without receiving my corrected order, because I wasn't going to pay for it when it wasn't my mistake. I questioned if I was being unreasonable but realized that wasn't the case based on past experiences of myself and others at other establishments that have good customer service. At comparable juice/acai bowl businesses, like Jamba Juice, Nekter, and even Blue Bowl, when a mistake is made on the customer's order, replacing or correcting it is a given. They even go as far as giving the customer a coupon or free item the next time for the inconvenience that was caused. This is what reputable establishments do. I have not returned to Pulp but instead have found a better small business for acai bowls and wanted to share that business with Yelp readers. Support Blue Bowl. I tried the rose tea, the annihilation, the stress less, the peanut butter banana smoothie, the acai bowl and the squeeze me and by far the stress less and the squeeze me were my favorites! As a person who can usually drink bitter pressed juices, the annihilation couldve used a little more kick/ flavor but nonetheless I felt great after drinking it! I'm usually a huge fan of peanut butter banana, and it was perhaps my high expectations of the perfect pb banana smoothie, but I definitely preferred the sweeter pressed juices.
