I have been seeing Pulp Juice Bar appear on Instagram recently. I was drawn in by the unique bag packaging of their tea and decided I needed to try it. The place itself was very cute and smelled lovely of fresh fruit. The Jasmine tea I ordered was great! The tea was not too sweet but balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the boba. Two friends I went with tried the smoothies and really enjoyed those as well. I would recommend this place for the instagram factor and the beverage quality. Ok so I gave this place another try on Saturday. I remembered to check if they had ingredients before I ordered. Looks like they beefed up the menu a bit. The gentleman waiting on me was very energetic. He engaged with me (only person in store) while making my drink. The other two lady's in the store just seemed a bit bored didn't really have a friendly face. But I was there for the drink which was awesome. Oh Kale Yea it was. This is the cutest juice place! They have a lot of juice options and they also have tea as well! I just got watermelon juice and also I also got a green juice to take home as well - both were phenomenal. I really like the fact that they put the drinks in these little bags that you can carry and they stand up on their own. Also, the little bags are reusable! So you can put any juice or tea or anything you want in them! I also love the decor here! Everything is so cute and set up so nicely. The staff was super nice and because it was going to be my birthday soon, they gave me a free drink, and I got the Love Me More with Lychee Popping Boba, which was so good! So, the stuff here is great. Here is my issue with it...the wait time. It takes 30 minutes to get your order. My other issue is the employees. They wear gloves while they make the food, which is great. What is not great is when they touch your food with the gloves, then touch the register that was just used by someone without gloves and then your food. It completely defeats the purpose of wearing gloves. I watched this happen today, more than once while I waited for my food. Please refresh your employees on health and safety so we can all enjoy our food and drinks from here with a little peace of mind. read more

Perhaps the next time I am in the area I will be able to fully appreciate their offerings. I use ginger regularly and was looking forward to enjoying their shot. Everything about this store is cute. From the catchy names, decor and juice packs they put their uses and teas in. Staff is friendly and very well trained, all knowledgeable. However I can't get past my last two visits. I had a smoothie that was so icey and not blended well. I was in a bit of a rush with my boyfriend so I didn't bother to drink it until we got into the car. The second time I met with a friend and tried their acai bowls to eat at the shop while we caught up with each other. Usually acai is thick and has a consistency close to sorbet. It's small, but there's a lot of plants, plenty of seats, and a cute setup for a photo as well as a neat tiny library. I came here with my partner and we ordered the Lime Crime, Green Giant, immunity shots, and a ham n cheese croissant sandwich. I really, really liked the rose milk tea from this shop. I wasn't expecting much of this one but it was my favorite one that I ordered. They have a few different kinds of items on their menu such as acai bowls, juices, smoothies, and milk teas with boba. Me and my friend tried the jasmine milk tea and the regular milk tea with boba. There's a lot of boba places near me so compared to them, pulp juice bar didn't have the best boba i've ever had just because the boba itself was pretty hard that we couldn't even eat it. I think out of the two options, both me and my friend would definitely prefer the jasmine milk tea over the regular one. This place is definitely insta worthy and honestly it was pretty cool drinking something out of a pouch, its like an adult version of the capri sun! We each got a different drink to try and enjoy - my wife got the Berry Good Smoothie, my Siblings each got the Pear Me Up and Squeeze Me, and I decided on the healthier option of Green Giant. The juices were all great in flavor - they tasted fresh and they were made on the spot. I got the pouch for my Green Giant which was nostalgic, as another Yelp Reviewer noted, from other drinks around the world. The Berry Good Smoothie had a nice consistency and no clumps (which is a big deal to us), and the Pear Me Up and Squeeze Me were very flavorful. A special note but not enough to lower the stars is that the Pear Me Up had a stronger orange taste that overpowered all the other flavors and tasted similarly to the Squeeze Me. The Green Giant was very healthy tasting and would have preferred a little more cucumber but that's just my palette. The ambiance was really soothing and they had a small library where you can take a book and leave a book in the future. We read one of the books that was there but didn't take it. Everything was so harsh to take down. I've had freshly squeezed juiced at other places but this by far was the worse. It has good potential and could improve in many areas. Randomly came across this place the other day after a less than satisfying dinner at a sushi place since Ohshima was swamped by 5:35. Still freaking annoying can't really make reservations there but whatever. I was still hungry when we were in this plaza and saw the Pulp Juice Bar sign. So came in and met an employee and the owner. The decor and bar layout was great with a lot of fresh fruit and veggies right in front of you. It felt like a cool place to hang out with cafe style seating, cute sayings like "Acai You Later" which would make a funny t-shirt and board games. I must've taken a while studying their menu when they finally asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. Since I'm trying to keep my fruit intake low now that I've read the "Plant Paradox" I told them and the owner recommended that I try the Annihilation drink with some pineapple to offset the bitterness. Chatted with the owner a bit and found they'd been open only a few months. Got the drink in some really cool/different BPA-free packaging (basically a big resealable bag which is useful in case you want to save your drink for later) and tried it. It was really fresh and delicious and hit the spot that the lame sushi place didn't fill. They're new, local, and charming-- so come out and support them.
