Been here 3 different times trying really hard to enjoy this place bcuz I love local spots but every single time, it was less than disappointing. I've realized that unless you're a professional surfer or from the North Shore of Oahu, the workers here treat u like dirt and have the WORST customer service!! Each time I ordered something off the menu, I was told with an attitude that "it wasn't available" or "it's a special order". It honestly seems like they will only make certain dishes based on who are. Sounds crazy I know but I've seen pro surfers get whatever they order and regular paying customers get treated like second class citizens. Pretty sad. If the food was delicious I could maybe look past the AWFUL customer service and rude workers but unfortunately, that's not the case. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere! read more

Excellent. Enjoyed the special coconut curry with quinoa that was so flavorful and fresh. Paired with a salad that was simply delicious and topped off with good avocado. My guy had the Ahi poke bowl that he considers to be the best he's ever had. Especially great open air, spectacular view setting after a long day of snorkeling at Shark's Cove. Spent some time at a vacation rental in this area. We made the mistake of dining in restaurants for our first few days. We would have gladly dined here al fresco more often had we known better. I had the hummus flatbread for $7.95 totally worth it and way more satisfying and flavorful compared to Waialua Bakery. (You can add on a protein or avocado for an additional charge). To top it all I tried their acai bowl, which I think cost $9.95 total to add on coconut, strawberries and blueberries? (Original which includes granola and guava honey alone). I would recommend saving your money to buy from Haleiwa Bowls IF you like blended acai. Great food, really cool place. Poke bowl was top notch - maybe the best we had on Oahu - as were the quesedillas. Great smoothies too. Pretty disappointing overall..I had high hopes given the reviews, but the food fell flat. We ordered 4 items in total, only one was good..the spicy tuna bowl. The acai bowl was weak, and tasted like a chocolate parfait oddly enough, Haleiwa bowl in the town about 10 mins away makes an acai bowl that crushes this one. The quesadilla was awesome and it comes with a side of spicy salsa that my boyfriend loved! My spicy tuna bowl was perfection in a bowl, so fresh and big portions! Add the avocado it makes it that much better! This place accepts credit cards too which is always an added bonus with food trucks. You must try it if your in north shore you won't be disappointed! Wow. This poke bowl. So So good. I was in Hawaii for the week and specifically wanted to find good poke. One of the best food trucks I've visited! This is parked on the north shore, and there is a little picnic area with shaded tables next door. We had the two most popular dishes, the ahi tune poke bowl and the teriyaki chicken dish. We also enjoyed the dragon smoothie, which was both pretty and delicious. My boyfriend got the teri chicken plate and I managed to sneak a bite and it was flavorful; made with bone in thighs, pinto beans and topped with pico de gallo. I read a review of this truck in the Honolulu Weekly, which is what prompted me to come here. I ordered the roast veggie hummus wrap and was impressed with literally everything on it. The bread was soft and buttery, the hummus was creamy and flavorful, and the roast veggies just tasted so fresh and delicious. Plus there was some sort of sweet-tangy vinegar-y sauce to pour on it. Yum. Prices seemed a little eager for the portion sizes. But it looked like they had a decent amount of vegetarian items, which earns big points from me. Food is alright, not bad not spectacular. Definitely overpriced though but that's expected in Hawaii and esp in the north shore. The killer though was the lady taking the orders and stuff, she's seems pretty unhappy to be there or something and she comes off rude because of that. It came with a sweet vinegar like dressing which was an interesting addition, to accompany the hummus flavor. For true hummus flatbread enthusiasts use it on the veggies that slide out of the flatbread. Two of those in our group chowed down on delicious Mexican food: pork quesadilla , chicken tamales. They said it was delicious and their plates were full of food. My nephew had the chopped steak, delicious, but not enough meat as he would have liked. Overall, this place is a winner!! The food is exceptional but the service is terrible! Went here with my family asked for a Soyu chicken plate because my baby is a picky eater and will not eat anything else on their menu. I was told by the female that they had only 1 piece of soyu chicken left and offered to put it in a mini plate for my baby. I said ok fine. We got our food and sat to eat. The person behind us ordered a regular size soyu chicken plate and received it! I think they are prejudice! I would never eat here again! And won't recommend it to any of my friends or family!!! Incredibly mediocre. Based on the reviews, I was expecting a great food truck experience with unique, tasty, and cheap food. It was none of the above. Our was also really slow. We waited almost 20 minutes for our food even though there was no one in line ahead of us. We paid $23 for a plate of shoyu chicken and an ahi burger. The burger was sloppy and falling apart. The side of mac salad was the size of a tablespoon. I was starving after a day at the beach, so I ate it all, but next time, I'll be trying a different truck. read more

Solid food truck. I got the BBQ Kalua pork quesadilla and the flavors were on point. I wasn't sure it was going to fill me up but it did the trick. Also, the pineapple pico was delicious. I tried my fiancée's tuna poke bowl with rice and it was also very tasty. The reason for the four stars is because I felt a little feverish and had a stomach ache a half hour later and it may or may not have been from the food.
