MOLD in cream puff that was said to have been "made today".

MOLDY PASTRIES. If I could give no stars I would. I never review anything but today I am so disappointed with this place. Spent $30 worth of pastries, MOLD in the cream puffs, stale Bon Bons. To drive all the way back to be told the owner will only give store credit. An owner that says they appreciate their customers and then couldn't even give a full credit from THEIR MOLDY PRODUCT on top of having the potential of becoming violently ill tonight from eating them. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED. Never going here again. I will never trust another product from this place. If I want to subject my body to mold and pink slime I'll take my chances with going to McDonald's. The health inspector needs to review this place.

The best hard rolls around! There were several people in front of us on a Sunday but our wait was maybe a minute. The staff was very friendly and did not rush us as we drooled over the cases full of treats! They have salt sticks on Sundays which was a great treat! Cheese danish is one of the best I've had.

Every time we go to Purdy Hill, we are pleased with the selection and quality. Today I purchased fruit tarts for my children and a special treat. They were fresh with a creamy custard and flakey cake bottom. Delicious! The cannolis are superb. We have never had a cheesecake from there that we didn't enjoy. The rainbow bars are my favorite thing there! The marble cheesecake is a second runner up!

Italian bread is so fresh. Macaroons melt in your mouth. Great prices. Tons of options.

This is quite a bakery. Huge selection of cookies, cakes, pastries you name it. There is also green mountain coffee available! It was my first time here. I was astounded by the variety honestly. Prices were neither very high nor very low. I bought what I needed, which in my case, was an assortment of cookies for a small group of people. But oh how I would have liked one of those delicious looking cakes! I am giving them a 3 because of a few things. First off, I almost could not find them. GPS took me wrong way. They are tough to spot if you have not been here. They are NOT in Walmart or Walgreens. Do not make the mistake I almost did, thinking they are. And the lines..the lines..Patience must be had when you come to this bakery. It was pretty slow going. It takes a long time in here so it seems. I was fine with waiting honestly because I was in awe over all the picture perfect sweets. The staff were really cool I must say. They were the best. But the cookies..they have no taste. It was pretty disapointing because everything looked great. Picture perfect. I was going to recommend them but now I don't know. I prefer Chaves Bakery honestly.

Cake with missing layers of cake and strawberries

We ordered a two layer sheet cake with fresh strawberry filling for my daughters baptism (paid $100 for the cake for 20 ppl). There was very large sections of the cake that were missing a layer of cake and strawberries. I tried to work with them for a refund and they said it was as expected. Do not recommend, terrible customer service and so overpriced!

Very disappointed in the quality & taste of the pastries I bought today! Not cheap either!! Lacking in flavor and soggy texture.

Terrible. I'm not going back again. The service took too long. The breakfast and bakery items were not good. I'd rather go to Big Y.

Came here after stumbling on this place searching "vegan coffee shop", wow did they deliver! The staff is super friendly, and had great recommendations! Get two of the vegan peanut butter brownie, it's well worth it! Found pricing to be fair, look forward to trying the coffee next time.

We received our food and drinks quickly. We ordered two iced strawberry matcha lattes. Unfortunately, they were pretty terrible and borderline undrinkable. I don't doubt that their coffee is good, but this was disappointing. The color was not great, it had no actual matcha flavor, and not nearly sweetened enough (even with the strawberry syrup). It pretty much tasted like chalky water with strawberry seeds. I ordered the turkey bacon, egg, Gouda cheese with spinach on a multigrain roll. I enjoyed it, and both the turkey and eggs were cooked well. I feel like there wasn't enough cheese, but maybe that's just me. However, the sandwich was kind of dry and I had to ask for ketchup so I could just have some moisture. My partner ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich. The chicken didn't have much flavor, but the sauce was good.

It was a very chunky cookie but compared to the pictures and prior reviews I've seen usually the frosting isn't a messy glop that isn't even centered or fully distributed. Of course, aesthetics mean nothing when it comes to taste which brings me to the fact that this cookie was absolutely delicious. The store itself was a little on the messy side but we arrived at around 8:30pm so I'm assuming it may have been a rough day. I would probably stop by again if I'm in the area but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit this location.

And after digging into the ingredients, it's clear these are ultra-processed desserts--packed with emulsifiers, artificial colors, flavorings, and other additives. Great for a quick indulgence, but probably not something your future self will thank you for. If I'm craving something sweet, I'll head to the other side of the plaza--where they actually make their ice cream in-house with simple, real ingredients.

When you were growing up, was there a place you dreamed your parents would take you for a treat?…read moreWhen you got a little bit older and had a few bucks in your pocket, was there a shop you and your friends would bike to and buy a little slice or scoop of heaven? What about that perfect first date location in high school? Or the place your crew would meet up after you got off shift or after a game to replay the memories? Was there a place where a holiday season couldn't "officially begin" without a stop there to grab some coffee, a box of cider donuts, a Christmas tree, or just a place to sit and catch your breath? Plaskos is all of those places for all of those feels and all of those moments. The fare is top notch, and the staff is warm, familiar and welcoming. It's Americana. It's home. It's the last place you went the night before you left for college, and ordered a large S'mores ice cream with toppings, and drank in the summer sights and sounds in their yard on a picnic table, and the first place you went back to over Christmas vacation. There are lots of ice cream stores. But Plaskos is that one place that makes you feel like you just walked into your grandparents kitchen and they have all of your favorites waiting for you, and they are just as happy to see you as you are to see them. People don't just go to Plaskos because it's an ice cream store or cafe, even thought their home made ice cream and creative flavors taste like nothing you've had before, and their coffee makes you close your eyes and wonder where this has been all of your life. People go to Plaskos because it's tradition. It's who New Englanders are. It's Bean boots in the rain, leaning on a rake and talking over a fence to the neighbor on a fall day, or shoveling a driveway to help someone in need because it's the right thing to do.
