They opened a new spot last week in the Hibird hotel on Ashford. It's a cute clean spot with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly. The lemonade was good. So was the smoothie. The shrimp tacos were good and came with a salad and Cole slaw. The chicken wrap was good. Generous chunks of chicken. They don't have a Yelp listing yet so I posted it here. We had lunch here twice. This is a spot we quickly visited before catching our flight back home. If you are craving something healthy and refreshing after a couple of days of drinking and eating out in PR, this is the spot for you! The bean tacos were so delicious, and they had plenty of meatless options. The juice was yummy and fresh and was served with a glass of ice to pour it into. The service was quick. The place itself was walking distance from where we stayed on a semi-busy street. It was super clean and the music wasn't too loud, I was able to chat with my friend without any trouble. First off, this place has A LOT of food. They are not really a juice bar or coffee shop although they have delicious juice and coffee. We had several yummy dishes like grilled chicken salad, flourless chocolate cake and a ridiculously BOMB chocolate chip, coconut cookie. OMG! Literally worth the 20 minute wait! Don't get me started on the vanilla ice cream that came with. Yum! Vianca was so kind and sweet as well as knowledgeable about her menu! We ordered the egg and cheese sandwich-she recommended brioche buns and of course she was right, so delicious! We mostly took our food to go since we stayed at this hotel, but the eating area was neat and clean. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will go out of my way to return here next time we are in PR! read more

Great place to eat and chill. Great ambiance. Excellent service. Great conversation with total strangers or bring friends and family. The shiitake tacos (wife's choice) she says were excellent. I had the veggie burger and sweet potato fries and I confirm that they were some of the best that I have tasted. ANYWHERE. Veggie burger with cheese did not make me miss regular burgers. Lol. The sweet potato fries were made from REAL sweet potatoes (as opposed to the frozen stuff-nothing wrong with those BUT, IYKYK). Not so pure.... Dined at this establishment in the lovely and lively environment on Calle Ponce de Leon in a Miramar. The food was well prepared and presentation appetizing. However, Pure is not so pure or forthright by being misleading when ordering....especially when the bill arrived. The eggplant wrap I ordered came as a platter not as a wrap that was more expensive. Surprise #1. when asked about the side dish that was presented as part with the side salad, was changed $6.00 for toastones. Usually a side of condiments are complimentary were surprise #2 for $2.00 for a small dip. Both dishes for myself and friend were being double dipped for toastones and dip adding another $16. 00 plus all the taxes and surcharges to the bill. It was insidious, making Pure, not so pure. Better business practices should be implemented by not taking advantage of its patrons. read more

Me and my husband were walking around and found Pure. Since we wanted to eat something light we decided to give it a shot. They had English menu which was a plus. A lot of options. I had the Mediterranean salad with chicken and really enjoyed it! Chicken was juicy and flavorful. The dressing was too acidic for me but good overall. My husband had a pita sandwich that he enjoyed. The server brought us a couple local beers for us to try and that was a nice touch since we didn't ask for that. Good experience! read more

I went to al gusto deli and was discriminated against. The woman at the counter told me and a friend that the place was closed, however, a white woman who came in after us was served. Disheartened we went here and the service was great! I told the woman at the counter (Marjorie) what happened to us and she was shocked by the racism. Luckily for us this place is very welcoming and the staff is great. The employees here made me want to come back to Puerto Rico . I highly recommend pure just solely based on the staff. I ordered the southwest chicken, which came with one of the most amazing salads I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. YUM!!! I was in San Juan for the 70.3 Ironman and wanted to eat healthy prior to the race. Everything was fantastic!! My friend and I went there for dinner - at first glance, it looks like it's just a breakfast and lunch place, but it's also open for dinner! Appetizers: ahi tuna was out-of-this world! Order it, you won't regret it! Soooo fresh and tasty, I could've had two of these and called it a night. We also ordered their hummus with chips. It was good but it either had too many chips or not enough hummus. I'd say not enough hummus! My main dish was their pargo, a type of red snapper.....this seriously was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever eaten. And talk about fresh. The owner goes fishing in the ocean and catches it himself. On the side, I had quinoa which was outstanding as well. The service was awesome. Our waiter was prompt, helpful for menu ideas, and simply just a friendly guy! I soooo wish there was a Pure & Natural in my city, I would literally go there at least once a week (if I didn't love to cook, I'd go more often!). I'm a nutrition coach so I love the concept. The relaunch of this Condado classic in Miramar is delicious and promising. The decor is high end and beautiful. The best spring roll I've had in PR in a while. The falafel salad was delicious and the presentation of all the items that we ordered was very nice. The only thing that needs improvement is typical of any restaurant that has just opened. There was some miscommunication between kitchen, waitress and customer. The owner promplty discussed it with my maybe too demanding friends and it was resolved. I will definitely return. read more
