The food here is delicious, but I think the guy working there when I stopped by was the ONLY one there it seemed.. taking orders, preparing the food and making the drinks. I ordered the American, loaded fries, and a Moscow like. They didn't have a key ingredient for the Moscow mule so I asked for a margarita instead. I found a bug in my margarita and was given a refund for my drink. The burger was delicious, but was missing the mushrooms I had asked for as an add on. The fries were great too. Prices were very reasonable which was a breath of fresh air to me. Everything is so damn expensive lately. Inside there is a lot of seating and a bar area. The parking lot is rather small but I was able to find a spot the day I came. I definitely want to come back for the food and hope the bar areas cleanliness has improved by then.

It was our first time here. Very friendly employees and ordering was easy. Love the fans inside, they keep the fresh air flowing. The music was a tad bit loud, but good music selections. The salad looked as good as it tasted. The burgers and fries were very fresh. The prices are so reasonable for all you get.

Was in the area and wanted to try something new. Decided to come here and it was the right choice! The food was really good and not greasy at all! The menu was easy to understand and read. You can add extra toppings and they don't cost extra. The food was delicious! The service was great, can't complain. The employees were really nice and helpful. We wanted to try their special sauce and they brought us all of their sauces! The ambiance was chill. There is plenty of room and seating.

Wow, wow WOW. Seriously. As people who order their beef from Montana, this place is legit. The milkshakes were in our top three favorites ever as well. Anthony our server was really busy but so calm and helpful. As the food is made to order and all cooked to a specific temperature, there is a little bit of a longer wait time, however it was so worth it!

Pure Burger Bar is a Hidden Gem! So sad we forgot to take a photo because we were so hungry--but trust me, this place is unforgettable! My partner and I were on a long drive, looking for a good place to eat, and we stumbled upon Pure Burger Bar--and WOW, what a find! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the menu was super easy to navigate. Every burger here is double-stacked perfection, and the flavor? Unreal! We ordered the Spicy Smash Burger and the Heater Burger, and both were absolutely packed with bold, delicious flavor--no disappointments here! The seasoned fries? Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and squishy inside--just the way they should be! What really shocked us was how fast everything came out--only five minutes--and there was no wait! On top of that, the customer service was top-tier--friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The vibe here is great too--they have TVs to watch games while you relax and eat, and they also serve a great selection of beers to pair perfectly with your meal while you enjoy the game. If you're craving REAL, loaded, flavorful burgers, this is the place. Pure Burger Bar absolutely delivers, and we'll 100% be back! Highly recommend!

First time visitor and was very disappointed. Food took forever to come out which would have been ok except that it was cold and soggy. Fries cold. Grilled Cheese lukewarm and not crispy. The kid that brought it out looked like he just woke up. It was expensive. 1 burger, 2 Jr burgers, 1 grilled cheese, 1 chicken burger, 2 fries. 1 soft drink...$85. Again, I would have paid for good food. Inside felt like a prison cafeteria. Outside... please get rid of the plastic flowers!!! Tacky! Rating 2 stars as the kids seemed to enjoy their burgers.

This was a hard rating exercise. I liked the food, the people we met and the place. It is nice to see another restaurant come in on our side of town. All that is good. The back and forth for me on the rating was based solely on the cost of the meal. Burgers were good. The fries were excellent. The place is new and nice inside. The people working there were friendly and nice. Hard to swallow a $12.50 burger and then having to order $5 fries and then a drink on top of it. Kinda pricey for that set up, in my humble opinion. Everything about the burger was good. Bun, burger patty, cheese, pickles, lettuce and sauce were all good and fresh. It was delicious. As mentioned, the fries were excellent. For the quality of the food, I gave four stars, as I could not justify three stars only based on the price. I know that these days (June 2024) things are costly due to inflation and the cost of everything is up, but I did feel that this was a bit more than I would like to pay for a burger and fries. Go. Prepare To Pay. HAVE FUN!

I will caveat this review by saying they have only been open a week or so. Everything looked right, I mean look at the picture, that is a beautiful burger/ But is was not. The patties were over peppered old hockey pucks and I am convinced the bun was a couple days old. Not sure when they were cooked up but is surely was not when I ordered. Maybe give this place a few weeks to get things figured out.

How did I not know this place has been open this year? We walked in and the place seemed clean and nicely furnished with a bar, televisions and beachy decor, but there were only two people having lunch at 1:00pm. We waited to have our order taken, but once we did, service was great and our food came out quickly. My friend had a special with the spicy smashburger with cheddar and jalapeños, the Pure salted fries and a drink. I also had the special with a burger, fries and drink. My order was a spicy goat burger with jalapeños, grilled onions, tomato, lettuce and goat cheese (it was fantastic), spicy fries and a drink. I liked the spicy fries with Cajun spices more than the plain, salted, but both were cooked just right. Our drinks were cold (we both had a hazy IPA) and atmosphere was nice. We hope this place starts advertising because it's one of the best burgers around!

This was my first time to Pure Burger Bar. The food, service and ambiance were far above most burger places in the area. The food was great no flimsy burger here two large patties. The fries were good and plentiful, The restaurant was clean and very appealing, Could have been showing the football games on the TV .

I have been here twice is the last 10 days. Its clean and modern. Very nice interior. Parking is limited but available. The first time I had the grass fed beef burger. Quality was great. Today I had the chicken breast sandwich. It was seasoned perfectly and was a large portion....very fresh. We also had a veggie beyond meat burger which was delicious. Seasoned fries and loaded fries...seasoned was best. Their prices are quite reasonable compared with other burger restaurants in south Orange county. A LOT of value her for the portions you recieve. I don't want to knock a place down but I had so much more expectations. I know it's a new business so they have kinks to work out. I have to order food in one line and then have to get out of line into another to order a beer? My fiancé had to wait in the "bar line" to get 2 seltzers and by the time he got to our table, our food was already delivered. Took forever for drinks. Makes no sense. Our burger wasn't bad, but could also be better for the price point. For 3 burgers and one seasoned fry it was like 40-something dollars. Also asking for a tip for a counter concept?? read more

Horrible service. Took 30 minutes to get a burger. No one was there. They were obviously filling Door Dash orders otherwise no clue what took so long. The group behind us was served before we were. Will not go back. read more

My father-in-law and I tried it out. I rated it a 5.6 out of 10. Healthier side of things. I was super drunk and felt underwhelmed. My father-in-law got the supreme and rated it a 6.8 out of 10. I got the pure and felt like it was lacking. Perhaps they will find they stride by the summer. I think they need to shoot for takeout, and late night bites.. Make sure you have a really good chocolate shake, open and stay open late, and kill the takeout game. No beach vibe whatsoever. It's not gonna stand out, and you won't remember it. It's just another burger place. Right after I finished eating, I had a biggie burger delivered. It was delicious and huge. Totally different burgers, each have pros and cons. I will say the fries are absolutely terrible and I wouldn't get them ever again. It's almost there. Just needs another level of help. I'll be back when you are ready. read more

We're locals and decided to try this place for the first time. I ordered the grilled cheese and I'm sorry to say that this was the worst grilled cheese I've ever had. The bread was too crusty and not enough cheese. The two burgers that were ordered were substandard. We have some amazing restaurants in San Clemente, and I'm pretty sure this one will be gone very soon. read more

We usually go to our local spot for lunch after golf on Wednesdays, but we finished a bit early and it wasn't open that day. We had heard that Pure Burger had opened so decided we would try it. Burgers were very good. Can't compare to In-N-Out, they are different types of burgers. Fry's were good even though I'm really not a fry guy, but that's all they offered. My wife likes fries so she was happy that I brought them home. :) I know prices have risen, but $12.50 for just a burger. ..fries not included seemed a bit much. Special note though, they do have $3.00 glasses of wine. ..can't say it's the best, but ok. Not sure i will go back for those prices, but if that's what you are in to, maybe a place to try. read more

This was a 'one and done' for us... I would have given this a one star rating but there was entertainment, so I extended this by another star - more on that in a minute- The grilled cheese was cold w/ cheese barely melted. The burger was tasteless and cold as well. The fries were clearly dug up from the bottom of the fry basket and not one fry exceeded a 1/2" in length...who does that? In addition, they were heavily soaked in oil. The only high note was the unexpected entertainment: what appeared to be the cook arguing with her boyfriend in the parking lot only 5' from our table... maybe that's why the food was cold? Overall, a very disappointing meal. read more

Young lady at the counter did not greet us when we came in and she was too busy on her phone. She pretty much ignored us until we said we were ready to order. We ordered two meals. They served it on one metal tray. I ate my hamburger on a paper napkin. Overall, the service was lousy, and the food was just so so. I have heard about this place and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. Not so much. Service at the counter was mediocre but friendly. Seriously, the fastest burger to ever come out and there is NO WAY these patties are cooked to order. Smash patties completely dried out, under seasoned and over done. Any place that does smash patties means they don't know proper temps. Best thing about it were the pickles and even those were subpar. Bun did not taste fresh, was smashed, wrinkled yet soggy and fries are super greasy and I'm not sure when the last time the oil was changed. Chipotle aioli was also horrendous. As a chef, I appreciate simple things done well and this is far from it. I will admit the beer was cold and I enjoyed the patio seating but they definitely have some work to do. read more

This is the second time we've dined at Pure Burger and it's progressively gotten worse. I can't blame the 16 year old, only employee working front house, as he was doing the best he could do. I blame management/owners for poor planning and poor training of employees. A busy Friday night with a line out the door and it took over 30 minutes to receive our beverages from time of order placement. The poor kid was over worked and overwhelmed. Not to mention a 16 year old is not legally allowed to serve alcohol! You might want to say goodbye to your liquor license. Burgers were bloody and under cooked. We will not be returning. Such a bummer. read more

Cool little new Burger Spot in town. Went on opening night. Great Burger. Really nice that they use grass fed organic beef. Thats a huge plus. The Pure Sauce was good and fries and shake also. Noticed alot of local teens working there which is awesome. Definitely will be back. read more

Love finding new spots! This is new to SC and it was amazing. The burger was great. Can't wait to come back and try a different one. We got the pure burger. We also got the Cajun fries and those were delicious. Next time we will be trying a shake. This did not disappoint. Meat is fresh and has zero antibiotics. People who can appreciate a good burger plus it being healthy for you know how important this is. We didn't get a photo because we ate it so faced but next time we will for sure. Couldn't wait for this place to open. In walking distance from our home. Wasn't impressed with the burgers (asked for medium rare) was it rare. Fries were greasy. Hopefully all the kinks can be worked out. Will give it another try in a couple months. read more

Wow, I just read a nice description in the SC Times. But ... our burgers were $12 "junior burgers" including the gluten free buns . Three burgers for 36$ that tasted very bland and had a thin patty. The 3 "pure fries" and 2 "healthy" drinks were good. The bill with a "must tip" at least 18% minimum option before we sat down and ate was not appreciated. Total with a forced tip was about $90. The servers were overly taxed by only a few customers just after noon on a Saturday. I overheard customers say they had waited for help for a while. Sure enough, our selections came out in stages and I had to walk back to the register for our two shakes right before we left. It might get better if there is an owner or manager added to the crew. I want it to succeed based the nice article I read. read more

They finally opened and we thought... why another burger joint...? until we saw the menu and we tasted it!! we were back 3 days later! amazing food quality and ingredients! That quality of ingredients is practically unheard in restaurants... grass fed, grass finished meat with organic toppings... in addition my husband is vegetarian and he said it was the best veggie burger he's had in a really long time... they make them there. Plus don't forget tge fries!! and to top it off, it's reasonably priced. Best burger joint around!! By Far!! read more

Moving on from there I had one of my favorite lager types, a Mexican Lager. The name of this one was De La Playa. Flavor features with this beer are malty, perhaps a bit biscuity. Very crushable and light bodied which makes this a beer one that's easy to have more than one of. A very pleasant return to Rōm and may more return trips be in the future!

Lately I've been coming on Tuesdays to take advantage of their all-day Happy Hour, which is one of the best in town. Crispy carnitas tacos and the hibiscus margaritas are my go-to's, and the fresh chips and salsa served gratis are always delicious and hot. I wanted to take a moment to shout out their fantastic team of servers and bussers especially. Luna, Lindsay and Cesar have all been exceptional servers; their knowledge of the menu and their genuine kindness makes our visits that much more memorable. I don't often catch the name of the bussers, but they are extremely good at what they do. There's a few restaurants in town that hire staff and don't seem to train them well, so they struggle and it's apparent... but that's not the case here at Asada, where everyone is professional and really go above and beyond. It's easy to see how well their service flows (although the host stand could benefit from having people who are more outgoing; they seem to have timid people up there a lot, and it can be awkward when they're too timid to properly greet guests--just something I've noticed, having worked in restaurants before I tend to be hyper-aware of such things). My favorite section to get seated is the booths near the back which tend to be quieter, and also offer a nice view of the sky during the sunset and evening hours especially.

I had the Goat Burger at Pure Burger in San Clemente, and wow hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had! The patty was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The toppings were super fresh and balanced the richness of the goat cheese perfectly. You can tell they really care about quality here. Everything tasted fresh, and the bun held up beautifully without being too heavy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the vibe of the restaurant is casual but clean and inviting. If you're a burger lover (or just love trying something unique), I cannot recommend the Goat Burger enough. Definitely my new go-to spot in San Clemente! read more

SO GOOD! This place is so worth it. Didn't take a picture cause we woofed down our food, but the Pure burger is probably one of the best burgers i've ever had. Juicy and thick. Fries are insanely good, and everything was safe to eat for celiacs. The gluten free bun was delicious - not like most gf buns - fluffy & it had sesame seeds on the top which is rare for gf buns. Would tell anyone to go here. 11/10! In my opinion, price isn't bad considering the burgers are organic and grass-fed. Ambiance is fine - very casual. Service was exceptional! I recently visited Pure Burger and unfortunately, I was not impressed with my experience. The fries were not great and too greasy, and the burger was just okay - definitely overpriced for what you get. I wanted to like it . The ambiance inside was way too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. On top of that, the food took forever to come out. Could be a kink of the newer restaurant but for just burgers and fries .. come on 45 minutes. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit to Pure Burger and will not be returning.
