We had a clogged kitchen sink, so I was looking for plumbers on Yelp. What made me choose Chris out of the local plumbers nearby was that 1. he had a flat fee, so if you have a really serious problem, at least you have a piece of mind that you don't need to haggle while the plumbing issue is not fixed, and 2. over the phone, Chris was able to clearly explain the entire plumbing process, as well as plan B, etc., while other plumbers just said "trust me, I got this" -- (which may be ok w/ others, but that's not my cup of tea). Chris arrived promptly at the promised time, and gave me a text message when he was on the way. Thankfully, this was an easier job (took ~30 minutes total), and he did not leave a mess behind. Throughout the process, Chris answered any technical questions I had (like, why did my own drain snake not work? probably that it was too small and hand-powered).
