Waste of time. Lady said cash only even though they advertise taking cards. Tried to charge me for 7 gallons for a 5 gallon container.

I went there once and have the same opinon of the "nut job" lady. I'm more concerned about the quality of the water. Sounds lijke the water is the highest quality...is this true? Thanks read more

I've gone here for years and obviously the most important thing is water quality. Just compare this store with others and there is absolutely no comparison, the taste is A+. Our family won't drink at any other place. There's only two workers here and yes the lady was a bit abrasive at first but I attribute it to cultural and language barriers, it's not complicated, bring my water tanks, fill them up, pay and repeat. To leave 1 star reviews for a water store for a family that is trying to make it in the US is low. read more

The lady that works at this store is a nut job. I have been going to this water store for a couple of years and although I had issues with the store's practices I tried to make the best of it. I liked that it's a Mom and Pop store and the water was clean and not overpriced. There is a guy who very rarely works here, most likely the husband is pleasant and I've never had issues with him. She on the other hand I would not trust. It started when she kept trying to up-sale water she sells for 3 times the price of the distilled water. All you see is this generic sign that says the water is alkalized and healthy for you. Alkaline water has a higher pH level than regular drinking water. Because of this, they try to sell the idea that alkaline water can neutralize the acid in your body and it's healthier. That might be great and she might be right but she is making more than 3 times the cost per gallon. This water just comes out of a faucet so there is no way to know what you are actually getting, and when I ask questions, they just give no details on what system they use or how it is made. Many times I would go to get the lower priced distilled water and she would try to ask me " why don't you want our alkalized water?" I'd have to explain why I was not getting the expensive water She was basically very pushy and I saw her do it with other customers as well, and I started seeing the scam. Then one time I tried to pay with a bank card vs cash. She immediately got hostile why I was paying with a card. It states specifically they take cards and I needed it to go on my card for work purposes as it was not for personal use and she kept complaining and getting angry that I didn't pay cash. I had to basically argue with her to make her use my card. Not cool at all. The final straw where I lost all trust with this store was when I had two 2 1/2 gallon containers and a 5 gallon container I brought to the store. Because some where made of glass I could only hand carry one 5 gallon container and a 2 1/2 gallon leaving one 2 1/2 gallon in my car. I came in a filled the two containers and she asked if I wanted anything else. I asked her is it possible to just pay her for one more 2 1/2 gallons that is in my car. Basically I gave her the math that I would pay her for 10 gallons total. She immediately got hostile and angry and didn't want me to pre- pay because she didn't understand and needed to see the container filled before charging. So I said fine just charge me for the 7 1/2 gallons and I'll be on my way. No she then proceeded to lash out at me how much extra I was filling up and that I should never come in without bringing all of my containers and so then she asked me again how much extra I was to fill. I repeated to her the basics and then she decides to charge me for two 5 gallons plus two 2 1/2 gallons, or 15 gallons of water on the register. The only reason I caught her is I knew over $12 for what I will filing up was too much. So I had to repeat I'm only filling up one more 2 1/2 gallons. Well now she went ballistic and lashed out once again saying that's why I don't do this and that it was my fault she didn't understand what I said Jada Jada Jada. Finally she adjusted the price correctly. I ran to my car to return to fill the last 2 1/2 gallons. The whole time she was mumbling in the background pissed off and made me very uncomfortable to even be there. I would definitely avoid this place based on all of my experiences with the crazy lady who owns this store. She obviously does not value her customers whatsoever, and she is very erratic.. read more

Wow. Just wow. I've read that the woman store owner is a "nut job"... well, she's definitely unprofessional and EXTREMELY rude. I bought a 5 gallon water bottle from them a few months ago. It cracked (unlike the ones I purchased from Amazon.) I went into her store, told her the bottle I bought from her cracked and was wondering if I could get it replaced? Her response was, "Your fault!!" Umm, what? I was okay if they had a no refund policy... which she could've calmly stated but instead she went 0 to 10. The conversation went on for a couple more minutes where I told her that her customer service was sh&@$& and that if you talk to customers that way it won't ever go well. I told her I wouldn't be back and she quickly replied, "Your choice." Needless to say, she has plenty of one star reviews to show that my experience wasn't unique. She's done a few other rude things in the past but I let them slide but I'm done. read more

We went in, got what we wanted (5 gallon jugs and water refills), and have been going back for our refills ever since. The woman helping us was very direct - I suspect the 1 star review folks don't like this type of service, but I don't need all that glamour to refill my water jugs. There's multiple faucets inside, or one vending machine outside. The vending machine is cash only and was finicky with accepting my dollar bills. They have a cart to help you load the bottles to/from your car if you need. read more

In my experience, Pure Water, Campbell CA is the finest water store I have ever experienced! Originally, I came into the store for a water pump, which I found and purchased. It was very nice but didn't fit my 3 gallon bottle at the neck. I brought it back and the lady named Hanna (also the owner) was so polite and apologetic. I told her I really wanted one that worked. She spent some time with me and found the correct one, which now works perfect. After looking at the store, I discovered they have reverse osmosis, steam distilled AND alkaline water. I had never seen that in a store before. The equipment appears to be first rate and the store is very clean. They are open 7 days a week. The bottles, equipment, supplies and other items are first rate quality. They also sell lotto, beverages and other items. I have been there several times now and bought bottles and water. Are the items slightly priced higher than other stores, as mentioned in other reviews? The answer is Yes-but worth it because the owners stand behind everything they sell and the water is OUTSTANDING quality. I HIGHLY recommend this business. read more

I've been coming here for 7+ years and everything's good as. They have the best tasting water I've ever tried between water stores, I even tested the water quality with digital water tester and the water quality turns out it's real 'PURE water.' The water bottles sold in the store are at good quality as well. The female store owner has extremely good memory that she remembers most of the customer's names! And she always use the cart to help customers to load their bottles onto their cars, very good customer service. Highly recommend! read more

This is a basic water store. Very clean, and in addition to water and supplies they sell the little extras; lottery tickets, candy, etc. The thing that sets them apart from others is the customer service. Every time I've been there I've been helped with loading the full bottles back in my car. This is not something all stores do, and it's definitely appreciated. read more

I finally got a water cooler and was looking for a water refill place that was near my residence and found Pure Water. The older Asian gentleman was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to helping me get a 5 gal water bottle. Yes they're different types and didn't know that till today. The people hanging around the parking lot were sketchy looking but that didn't bother because I can handle my own but I might be hesitant at letting my wife come here alone. In conclusion I did rake a star as their prices seem more than all the other places I been in the past. But I guess the extra cost will save me on gas due to its vicinity. The most pleasurable water purchasing experience ever and a quality product. Ben is hardworking and super friendly. He always helps me or my mom out when it's time to fill our five gallon water bottles. He also informed us of how to clean out your bottles to avoid mold...had no idea, just kept refilling. He helps you to your car and everything. There is a coin operated water dispenser if you happen to go when the store is closed. Good location in Campbell and he has a few parking spaces designated out front. Again, super friendly, good prices, and great quality water. read more

This place use to be convenient and I was a big fan. I used to always stop by there and use there outside water service to get water. However now, you need to either use dollar bills or dimes, you can't use quarters. The owner has had a sign that says sorry for the inconvenience, but its been over 3 months now, you would think they could get the machine fixed so that it could except all types of coins like it used to. read more

I have been volunteering at the Country Lane School walkathon each October for the past several years. At the walkathon, around 700 families worth of kids spend all morning walking to raise $$ for the school, and in doing so they get very thirsty! I was responsible for providing water at the water table for all of the kids. Pure Water provides all the water and dispensers needed for free for this event every year. Last year we went through over 4000 cups of water! They are very easy to work with, and the employees there are very mannerly and helpful. I would recommend them without hesitation for their support of the school and for their overall professionalism. read more

The ownership/management has changed over the last few months, now it's a water/snack store and the customer service is horrible! We used to be frequent customers, but after giving them three tries with the new clerk we won't be back. Service is super slow, unresponsive, and unfriendly! Also, they used to have four carts to move the water bottles, now they have two, enjoy lugging those full bottles to your car, and since people park in the water zone for everything but water who knows where you'll be parked! read more

I purchased 7 items and $90 of water containers from this store. One container was a different design with a water spigot in it and I expressed concern about if the container would work out for me. This would have been an excellent opportunity for her to inform me there are no returns or exchanges (I now assume)- as I did not see any other notification in the store and it was not printed on the receipt. Was an ugly surprise when she would not exchange it for 2 - 1 gallon containers. I left the container with her as it also did not function properly as I explained and the spigot frequently did not work - which was a design flaw in the product - which is not repairable. I was in her store twice and saw no signs. Rip off!!!!! read more

Worst customer service I have ever received by a business owner themselves. Very rude and totally out of line. First of all, she was not wearing a face mask at all. I went in to turn in and exchange some scratchers, after scanning all of them she claimed my counting was off for the winning tickets because she was saying I owed a balance of $2 which was incorrect. She yelled at me to recount throwing tickets back at me. After I stepped to the side to count, she yelled again saying I was taking too long. At the time there was nobody else in the store. Out of shock I asked if she was the owner and she answered yes. I told her "You're being very rude" she then proceeds to yell "I don't need your money, just get out of here!". After deciding to take my business elsewhere, in the process when she was doing my tickets to begin with, she was stapling the lotto tickets with the amounts on them for her records. After leaving the store I was in my car, leaving the parking lot and hear loud pounding on my window and look to my side and it was her. She was screaming yelling in another language which I did not understand. She was trying to open my car door. In no way is this type of treatment acceptable, I will never go here again. read more

The lady working there always asks if I would like help. She is very friendly and knows what she's doing. She is new at this and pours her heart out into this store. Just went tonight for the last time. Hours are never convenient. I called before going today and was told they close at 5:30. When I rush down there I see the sign saying these close at 6!!! I was tempted to give 5 stars...my only complaint is that the outside water dispenser (24 hour) dispenses very slow. The water it self is great, $0.50/gallon, and is easy to get when they're open. Most often I go when they're closed and have to use the outside dispensor that pours like molasses. I typically come here to get water to brew homemade beer, so I need 10 to 12 gallons at a time. I admit they the best water around, I just get impatient at times. read more

I have the pre-paid card option, which lets you prepay for up to 200 gallons (I buy the 5 gallon bottle option) at only 45 cents/gallon and lets me in and out of the store without having to worry about having a card or cash with me.
