My daughter and I enjoyed our lunch at PureBread. Everything is dog-themed which is cute (pick up one of their magnets), and they can customize your order. I ordered a create-your-own with toasted sourdough bread, rotisserie chicken, tomatoes, a bit of Brie, and their champagne mustard. It was delicious. Bagged chips come on the side. Be sure to ask for a pickle. They give you a number to place on your table, and we were thrilled our food arrived less than 5 minutes after we had sat down. We got lunch from these guys twice over a two day meeting trip and I loved the food. They have a large selection of different sandwiches named after dog breeds. First day was a half sandwich and soup combo. Really yummy sandwich made with good ingredients and even the soup was a step above what I'd expect. Day two got a whole sandwich and fruit cup because I'm trying to avoid unnecessary starches and carbs. This sandwich, actually a turkey panini, was also really good and the fruit was again all fresh and tasty. I was prepared to be disappointed by it way was not at all. They seem to use quality bread and ingredients rather than the usual food service stuff I'd expect. They threw a bunch of fun animal shaped magnets in with our order the first day and I grabbed a couple to take home. Next time I'm here I'll return to PureBread! read more

PureBread is a local sandwich/soup/salad chain that's extremely reliable. They should be putting mediocre Panera out of business! Personally, I enjoy their sandwiches. Today was a chihuahua (chicken, avocado, cheese, Chipotle mayo) and it was delicious, although I would prefer a slightly lighter hand on the mayo. My favorite is the French Poodle. I am a little put off by the name, but the reference is to dogs, and I enjoy watching pictures of dogs submitted by customers on the monitors. Comfortable, conscientious service. Awful hours. Only open for lunch and closed on Sunday. Definitely worth a visit. read more

I was at the Glen Mills location, I went couple of times to see if I could get a hold on the sandwich's they were very good, but not really a lot or even a normal amount in the sandwich! I felt for the price it would have a little more in the sandwich very small about unit! After a third time I decided not too go back. If they would make it a little more in the sandwiches, no problem but they don't! If you are going to charge a fee then fill up the sandwiches with some filling not a shame dame sandwich! The sandwiches are fresh. I had the St. Bernard and added mayonnaise. It came with Dijon mustard that I didn't care for because it was sweet. I wiped it off the second half of the sandwich which made it much more enjoyable for me. The sandwiches come with a choice of plain or jalapeño chips. There was something a little off about the soup and they were very accommodating and understanding. The servers were nice. Yum! The toasty wraps here are unbelievable. I've tried the Aztec and the egg white so far but I'll definitely be back again, and would love to try some lunch items. The Aztec wrap was amazing and really flavorful. I enjoyed the egg white wrap but felt it was lacking some flavor/sauce so I added some at home. The store is super cute and it seems like a great place to relax, eat with friends, or get some work done during the week. I'm not sure what the fuss is all about but it's based on what I bought. The sandwich was just okay, nothing special. For the cost, I would have rather gone to a pizza join and bought a hoagie. Not saying it was bad but for $15 I expected a really good sandwich, loaded with meats and the works. It was maybe a $10 item. So that gets 2 stars. However, the muffin was fantastic, again, except for the price. If they were less I'd buy them everyday but not for what they charge. Maybe it's just me but if I'm going to pay more it better be really really good. I wouldn't expect most people to understand that, most people don't know what good food is. I just discovered this place last week but I wish I had found it sooner - I've been working from home since Covid started and I would have definitely come here a lot. I had some early morning errands to run in Glen Mills and was in need of a quick breakfast so I searched Yelp and decide to try Pure Bread out. Within 5-10 minutes, I was walking out with two hot and tasty breakfast burritos. I had the Aztec which was really good and I picked up the egg white and veggie one for my daughter. Can't wait to try some of their other menu items - the bagels and muffins looked amazing. Definitely planning to head back there real soon. They're on the pricier side for a sandwich (~$13 for sandwich and chips, $14 for half sandwich half soup or salad), but the dog theming makes it worth it. And they are really high quality.
