I'm there at least 3 times a week and still not finished everything on their menu. Everything is dog themed but as I've learned it isn't a bakery for pets. For at least a year I drove past it thinking it wasn't for humans. It is. It's terrific for a quick breakfast or lunch. Flavors are perfect combinations of upscale and healthy. The staff are always genuinely happy to go out of their way to make sure you're enjoying the good and have everything you need. I have 3 current absolute favorites at the moment. The chihuahua has chicken, avocado, red onion sliver, a delicious sauce. They do breakfast all day including a BLT croissant, again, with avocado. It's worth driving out of your way for. Get two if taking it to go. Whoever you have back at the house will steal it. Someone suggested I try the egg white tortilla wrap. It's not usually my thing. Yet it was so unexpectedly flavored and filling that I've decided to write this review. Want to make sure I pay the recommendation forward. It had spinach, garlic, tomato inside. I'm sure I'm missing ingredients. If there was ever a way to eat egg whites, this is it. read more

My mom and I stopped in after shopping at glen mills. I ordered the basset hound sandwich and my mom ordered the springer. It was kind of pricey at close to $10 per sandwich. I was also a bit disappointed when I saw that they only offer a few vegetarian options and NO vegan options. The food didn't take long and was overall decent but I wasn't blown away. I do like that the whole idea of the restaurant is dogs but there are definitely some improvements that could be made. read more

This place is a new find for me. Their broccoli cheddar soup was super yummy and so was their grilled cheese on spur dough. I went here with my family based off of a recommendation. It was a really cute sandwich shop with a lot of options for sandwiches. The idea behind the place was super cute as well as it was all dog themed. They played dog videos and all of the sandwiches are named after dogs. Each person in my family got a different sandwich which they all enjoyed. They liked that they got to pick a side rather than just being given chips. I recently started eating gluten free which their menu has a nice guide as to what is gluten free and what is not. At a sandwich place, as you can imagine, there's not much. I got a half salad and a half soup. One thing I didn't like about the menu was that they labeled the soup as gluten free but the soup comes with bread. I just gave that to my brother. I got the Cobb salad, based off other yelp users photos/reviews and it was actually super good! Everything was fresh and tasty and it wasn't overly heavy. The food is definitely simple but good- same with the broccoli cheddar soup I got. It was on of the gf soup options and really tasty! If you do like salads I defiiitely recommend the Cobb- very yummy! And be sure to get a seat facing the tv so you can watch all the dog videos. Also this place was SUPER clean and the staff was super helpful, nice, and you could tell they kept busy to keep it clean and give all the guests a great experience! A in my book! read more

I had a house salad with chicken. The curry vinaigrette it came with was delicious. The vegetables were very fresh and the croutons were unusually tasty. The menu had a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items. I got my salad to go but there was plenty of seating. It reminded me of a nicer and less corporate version of Panera. read more

So I got a groupon for this place and was excited to get to use it. Unfortunately, the one word that comes to mind is disappointment. Everything was rather expensive, which I had hoped meant that the quality would be good and the food would be tasty. But nope. The salad that I got had quite a few wilted/aged leaves and some tomatoes that looked like they were about to go. The sandwich I got was mildly fresher, but was rather flat tasting. The mozzarella was good as was the pesto, but overall there was not much flavor. The bread especially was disappointing (yes, there is that word again). Although to be fair, I did not eat the sandwich right away and waited a few hours while it sat around. But the good news is that the service was good. I came here on a lunch trip with some coworkers. They were all excited about coming here so I decided to tag along and check the place out. Nice, clean looking place and very nice pun on the name. The menu is pretty large with many sandwhich and soup of the day options. However, $8.99 + tax for a cup of soup and half sandwhich was too small and priced way to high. It's not like they were using a thick loaf of bread or a ton of deli meat to make my sandwhich. This was a simple piece of sliced bread with some roast beef and peppers thrown in. No drink, no house chips. That's all you get and I left the place still hungry! The sandwhich and soup did taste good, but would it kill to give the customer more of them? read more

The sandwiches are good quality and the coffee is very good, however the prices are just too high. I went with a friend for lunch and we had 2 sandwiches (a BLT & a Turkey/Bacon on rye), a small soda and a small coffee. The total was $27.00. My husband and I come here most Saturdays for breakfast or lunch when going to Costco to food shop. We love it here! The food is delicious and consistent! Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful - amazing service. The sunrise sandwich is great for breakfast. For lunch we love the golden retriever sandwich! The soups are very good as well as the drinks & baked goods. You really can't go wrong. Also have I mentioned it's a dog themed cafe! A tv with pictures of dogs submitted by customers is always on to watch while you enjoy your food. The place is also very clean and the girls always come around making sure everything is ok and if they can clear anything for you etc. Do yourself a favor and go here! You won't be sorry! (Also if you are a regular, buy the calendar around Christmas time. It is full of awesome coupons for the following year - we are loving ours!) read more

This place was great! We ordered a gluten free bagel sandwich with egg white, sausage and avocado and also a strawberry muffin grilled with butter. Everything was amazing. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. 100% recommend. Fresh food. I love eating lunch and watching a tv of dogs playing and doing funny things. Their iced tea is nice and fresh and served with fresh lemons. Good selection of creative sandwiches. I gave 4 stars because I think it's a little pricey. read more

This was our first time at Purebread and tried them based on their great reviews here in yelp. We were not disappointed! I can't believe we didn't try this place sooner. This is probably the best place to eat lunch if you're shopping nearby. Fairly quick service and ample seating. My sandwich (Golden Retriever - turkey, sundried tomatoes, pesto, cheese on toasted bread) was way better than I thought it would be. As has been previously said, parking is a toss up. read more

Purebread= Panera Lite. Their option are diverse yet something familiar in each. Ever sandwich is named after a canine breed which is cute and memorable. I've eaten here twice. Food is always tasty (love the corn muffin toasted with butter especially!). Lots of combinations to be had (soup, sandwich, salads, ect). They are not uppity about asking to add or remove stuff from selections. Very customizable. Service is quick & friendly. It is spacious & always spotless. The dog theme brings a smile to my face every time. Great selection of breakfast & lunch. The cherry on top for me is the simple syrup available for the tea. I love tea but need it sweet, and in PA its rare to find sweetened tea (thats not from the soda fountain). I can fix it to my liking & it keeps me coming back. Finally the bathroom (at least women's) has a changing table. This is huge for me as I almost always have my baby with me. Highly recommend! read more

Ordered the Chihuahua which was chicken, avocado, cheese and a chipotle mayo. Switched the cheddar bread to whole grain and removed the red onions. Chicken was juicy and the chipotle mayo had just enough spice with just the right amount. Would eat here again. Like the idea of a side of carrots versus chips. read more

My wife and I come to this place tucked away next to Brinton Lake Shopping Center on Saturday or Sunday morning for breakfast. The inside is bright and inviting. Upon approaching the counter to order, there is a window case that displays the bakery items for that day. Though I've never had one, they have some intruiging flavors and look delicious. I usually opt for a sandwhich, however. The staff are truly top notch. They are very friendly, make good suggestions, and offer to bring your food out to your table. They are constantly out in the dining area to keep the place clean. My usual food items are the Sunrise egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, or the hound dog, which is chunky peanut butter, banana, cinnamon, and honey on toasted sourdough bread. I also really enjoy the Nutella Macchiato, both hot and iced. I've also tried the Kona Mona Frappe, which my wife had me finished as she wasn't a fan. More for me. They also offer a pickle with your sandwich, which we will always take them up on! As mentioned, it is a dog themed cafe, and there are rotating pictures of dogs on a video screen which brings a level of charm. There is also outdoor seating which is great on a nice day. Wow. Wow. Bow Wow. Amazing panini sandwiches. Fast and delicious. We had the Newfoundland and the Akita. Newfoundland was turkey with bacon pepper jack cheese chipotle mayo on a cheddar bread. The Akita was grilled portobello roasted red peppers real mozzarella and basil pesto. Wow wow, Bow wow. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Nice clean place too. Seriously love this place! There sandwiches are unique and so tasty. They use great bread and meats and have a lot of options. The dog atmosphere is not too overwhelming and just makes the place feel happy. The workers are so kind and will come around to check on you, even though you order at a counter. The place is very clean and inviting. I always tell people to come here because there really is something for everyone. My only complaint is that they don't stay open for dinner. I don't think a lot of people know about it because it is off to the side, but it really is a gem! read more

I literally love this place! I've been coming here since they opened years ago. They have always been consistent with quality food and great staff. They have an adorable theme, but it's not overload or tacky. So animal lovers, this spot is a must-add to your list, but you don't have to be crazy passionate about paws to enjoy. Sandwiches, breakfast, coffee, and pastries, you name it they do it well. I typically come at lunch and order grilled sandwiches. I highly recommend Basset Hound, Noufoundland, their prosciutto/mozzarella/caprese sandwich, bagel/lox sandwhich, and muffins. Cute (free) magnets as well and merchandise for sale.
