As a vegan who LOVES food (a little too much) and can't just eat like a rabbit, I am blown away by this place! I never thought I'd be able to have a turkey club again. It was a sandwich I enjoyed often at diners in Jersey. Simple but delicious. This is by far the best turkey club I've ever had. Already amazing, I added the Calabrian chili mayo which was incredible. They're known for their My Cousin Vinny, which I got to taste and that was delicious too. The place itself is adorably decorated and cozy and the owners were SO sweet. We don't venture down here often since we're an hour away but when we do it's always worth it!! Today we shared a few sandwiches some new and one we've had before the cousin Vinnie: so good! Huge sandwich imo. Way too big to eat by myself. We also got the impossible burger a la Big Mac style which was so tasty. They cut it in half for us to share. Lastly was the grilled cheese panini which was delish. Three types of cheese and so gooey. We had a side of the goat brand chips and waters. All that for $43. We also got some chicken salads and pepperoni to take home for an extra $25. Worth every dollar. The staff are top notch, food quality is unparalleled, and everything is vegan. Never did I ever think I would enjoy a vegan sandwich. Lunch meat of the Boar's head variety has always been my favorite and still is. But this is a great sandwich and pretty well thought out. There isn't a lot of "meat", so I did think the toppings were a bit lacking given the bread ratio. Just like lunch meat, there is a lot of salt in this sandwich. And definitely recommended to share instead of getting your own. This is a sandwich that should be eaten the same day. I've been dying to try something vegan in the area. This place is quite expensive. Fountain soda was too rich for my blood but I'm a sucker for blueberry Maine root. So I ordered the favorite Cuban. I was honestly not impressed. Not sure what it was but something felt too wet, almost like dough and I was not a fan of that texture in a sandwich. There needs to be more pickles! Mustard was good. I found this place completely by accident, and oh what a wonderful accident indeed. There is only a few words to my experience...I got food wasted! I wanted it all! Everything was made to order, perfect temperature, great portions and to seal the deal...a gigantic chocolate chip cookie. I still think of the coconut bacon, the macaroni salad and the burger. I have never eaten Vegan but I will again after this experience! Me and 2 co workers tried a variety of sandwiches from the menu. I had the turkey Club with pickles instead of apples. If I closed my eyes I would have no idea. Staff was super polite and helpful in making our decisions. All three of us were pleased with our meals and would definitely eat there again. My one co worker said the vegan pepperoni was amazing! The surprising thing was the portion sizes and how much it filled me up the rest of the day. It's great there's 100% vegan place in the area, and I hate to mark them down, but they seem to have made some bad choices. The sandwich I ordered was "good", but it was hella messy; not at all suitable for eating in the car. The bread was falling apart from the tomato, although it tasted good, it was just the wrong kind of bread. And the vegan sliced cheese was a disaster - crumbled everywhere. They are so many vegan cheeses to choose from, shame something else couldn't be used. Kind of embarrassing if a non-vegan were to try it out. Any the mac and cheese - turned out to be a macaroni salad - this is not at all clear from the menu. Unfortunately, (and once again) had undisclosed onion in it so I wasn't able to finish. We got the LAL cheesesteak, the turkey club and the my cousin Vinny. The cheesesteak is constructed like a sloppy job on a long roll. I'm not mad about it. My cousin Vinny is a very class Italian hoagie. All the nostalgic feels! My favorite(kinda) is the turkey club. It ssooo good, I'm not sure what that sauce is. Deconstructed you taste the individual flavors like the coconut and the green apple. But together it just sings! I only say kinda because it's one toasted bread that cut the top of my mouth. While I realize the ingredients are more costly than an average sandwich but + $13? Additionally, while the flavor was solid, half of my grilled sandwich was cold, the other half was warm. Finally a spot dedicated to plant based food! Their "meats" are truly flavorful. We had the italiano panini - which I would order again. Also ordered the special: grilled chicken salad on choice of bread. Chicken was cut in large strips, which made it difficult to eat in a sandwich, so this would be better enjoyed over a bed of greens. Overall, we loved our lunch! I came here with my boyfriend for lunch. We both ordered paninis with ham on wheat bread. The reason that I dropped one star is the price. I understand that vegan cheese and substitutes are expensive, but is $10 for a panini with a slice of veggie ham on it really necessary? I was disappointed when we had to pay $33 for two sandwiches, two drinks, and two small cookies. The cheese on my panini wasn't even melted all the way. I am still grateful that there is a vegan sandwich shop in west Chester, but I wish the prices weren't so outrageous. I will try this place again, but I am not on a budget to come here regularly. read more
