All furniture given exceptional care, everything wrapped so well! They should start their own company and dump Purely Move! As for the company... I booked a 4 man crew, signed all documents 3 weeks ahead of the move. Travis convinced me to do so for a 3+ bedroom house.... 3 guys showed up and I asked where 4th was... then while waiting, the 3rd guy just left! Didn't tell his crew!.. job started 2 hours after scheduled time, and 12 hours later., we were moved in! Two trips.. Matt and Ivan never complained and kept on going! We just recently used Purely Move from our move from LA to Orange County. I was referred by a friend who used them and I am SO glad I chose them. From the booking process to the move itself, everything went very smooth and seamless. Connor was great and very easy-going (he did not pressure me to book with him unlike other companies) and Jake + crew were just awesome. We had everything packed up in boxes so the moving process was easy. I will say the rate was a bit more expensive than some of the moving companies that I got quotes from, but honestly, you're paying for your sanity and for good people who are going to do the job right. I've used other moving companies before and always felt very uneasy with other companies. Of course, there were a few dings/scratches in some of our furniture, but that's expected when you're hauling big pieces and navigating through tight spaces. I don't fault them at all. Unfortunately it's make me put a star at minimum, they shouldn't get one at all. This company has been nothing but a headache. They damaged my couch and broke a file cabinet because it wasn't secured while they were operating the lift. I have submitted a claims with images, quotes and item price and they are no where to be found. They ignore my calls or constantly tell me that the manager isn't there and he'll call back. We are on 2 months now and it's the same story every day. If you care about your furniture or items I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

We had a horrible experience with Purely Move. From start to finish it was just terrible. We were told they would be leaving Woodland Hills at 8 AM and to expect them around 8:30 AM. Reasonable enough gives a good driving time buffer. Well we got a call at 8:15 that they were just now leaving. 15 min off schedule, not bad. Well at 8:45 they call us saying they have arrived, only they clearly weren't there.... they went to the wrong location first. They finally arrive shortly after 9 AM and begin loading our stuff into the truck. We have a 10×15 storage unit. Manuel who is clearly new takes his sweet time moving anything he touches and grumbles "ugh this is heavy" with every single item. He took several "bathroom" breaks (he was clearly making calls) and was generally an awful worker. For every 3 trips that James made, Manuel made 1. The whole process took 2 hours longer than expected. Our previous movers who were absolutely wonderful took 3 hours to move the same exact load from our last home to the storage unit. We expected it to be about the same give or take 30 min. Nope! Took over 5 hours. So we were gouged because one of their workers clearly took his sweet time doing everything. We will never use this company again. read more

We hired this company to move a two bedroom condo and a three bedroom apartment worth of furniture to one house that was only a 10 minute drive. The move took twice as long as they had quoted and they booked the move as one single project so we were charged overtime at a ridiculous double rate than what was quoted. They put the wrong boxes in the rooms of the new home even though all boxes were clearly marked as to where they should be moved to. We also hired this company to pack up all items from the three bedroom apartment, we found boxes that had items dumped into the box and not wrapped for protection as was quoted. This company will low ball your quote then hit you with double time rates when they take twice as long to do the job. I would not recommend using this company. read more
