My bestie took me here a few months ago to get a pedicure. For about $50 bucks they did the normal stuff but then you get a 10 minute massage plus they use this mint mask and later wrap your feet in hot scented was. Omg so worth every penny! Apparently THEY DO NOT STERILIZE THEIR TOOLS either. Got a manicure here (see last review), got cut while they were cutting my cuticles, and a few days later that same finger was swollen. It was kinda itchy so I just thought it was a bug bite or something. I've gotten 2 manis since and have told them to skip that nail/finger because it still hurt each time I went. After not going away for over a month I went to the doctor to have it checked out since the inflammation and itchy hadn't gone down. Turns out, it's INFECTED. There is no reason a nail salon does not sterilize!!! This place is overpriced (average pricing at first and then they try to up-sell), the customer service is poor, and they can't even do the bare minimum in making sure their tools are clean and won't cause infection?! Cutest little nails I've gotten anywhere. Service is great it's quiet and clean and the staff is friendly. The lady who is doing my pedicure as I write this is legit going hard on my toes and she's getting a bomb tip for it and the gentleman who did my nails was so quick and gentle they look perfect. Went here for the first time less than a week ago. I got a full set and a gel pedicure. My pedicure was perfect however my experience with acrylic nails here wasn't. I wanted to get longer nails but the nail tech kept insisting I do short ones. Within two days two had already snapped off and the color has faded completely. I've had way longer nails before & never had them snap off like this. I'm super disappointed. $40 for short acrylics without gel that barely lasted a day. read more

I did a walk in and the wait was very short. Just around 10 min or so. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the worker who did my nails but she was really sweet. I appreciate how much time she put into my nails and making sure that all the nails were even/aligned. I think it took around 1hr30min to finish. Overall my nails came out the way I wanted, no thick,clumpy or sheer polish, nails lasted around 2 weeks (kept all intact), no chipping. The price I paid was 53 but additional 20 for tip. Would definitely recommend Ivy if you are looking for really great nail designs. But overall all the nail technicians seem really great at what their doing! read more

Sad to make this review. I got my nails done by Ken (Fullset gel). A couple of things went wrong. 1. Ken was an HOUR late. He said he didn't know he had an appointment and he didn't even apologize. He acted like it was my fault he didn't check the schedule? (I said I understood and mistakes happen. His staff hadn't even notified me that he wasn't there until 30 minuets of waiting! Him being late should have been my first sign to leave.) 2. Ken said the 10% check in discount does not work anymore. So they are no longer honoring it (false advertisement?) 2. Two days after getting my nail done my middle finger nail snapped in half and ripped off my real nail with it. Today my thumb nail broke taking my real nail and my ring finger broke too. 3. The gel peeled off my nails leaving them with no color so I had to repaint them myself. 4. So now 3 of my nails have been ripped in half and are bleeding, I have a crappy paint job, and I'm scared about the rest of them breaking as well! Ps. I have had acrylics for years and I've never had one break in half when I lightly scratched my arm until now. The nails snap in half so easily it's scary! Anyways, I had forgiven him for being late, didn't care when he said the discount didn't work, and ignored the semi rude behavior. I had thought the nails were worth it because initially they looked really nice! I can't ignore 3 of my real nails being broken, a crappy gel job, horrible customer service, and knowing I'm going to have to wait for all my nails to grow out/heal to get another full set in the future. This is honestly crazy, it's only been a week since I initially got the full set! AND THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT HERE! Never again. read more

I would of given absolutely zero stars if I could. Worst place I've EVER been to. I came in & wanted a simple red full set. No special designs, no long ass nails, no special shape, nothing. Just a simple full set, coffin red nails for Christmas. I come in & there was 3 employees who didn't say anything just stared @ me. Nothing was said. Talk about awkward but whatever. I asked if it's possible to get me in now (me along with another woman were the only ones in the salon). So after I asked they looked @ each other and started talking. They completely ignored me. I should of just left right there. I asked again and eventually a woman came who looked so annoyed and told me to just sit @ her station. I was making conversation because I wanted the tension to go away. As she started doing my nails they looked absolutely HORRIBLE. There were bumps, some nails were longer then others, some were Lopsided. I mentioned it to her & she would fix one and go back to doing the same thing. I said it again, then she ignored me. I was about to walk out when another employee came and tried to convince me they all looked "even" and "beautiful". Wtf??? & to make it worse, she was rushing through the whole process. It looked like she just wanted to get it over with so she can go back to hanging out with the others. PLEASE don't come here if you want good service and great nails. I had such a great experience at this nail salon! It's literally the first time that nobody pressured me into getting something I didn't want. It was also the first time I felt relaxed at a nail salon and attended to. The massage chairs were really good and straightforward to use which was a nice change. Ivy was careful with my design and took her time with everything except she was a bit rough with filing my nails but other than that it was perfect. She asked if I liked the design along the way and she fixed everything I asked her to without hesitation. Tiffany did my pedicure and she is so sweet and nice to talk to. She did such a great job too and didn't skimp out on the foot massage. It was the best pedicure! The prices here are also super reasonable. My new go-to nail salon! read more

I really wanted to love this place because of the great reviews but unfortunately I didn't have a great experience. First off, before my friend and I came in we had scheduled an appointment, but the door to the salon was locked. Kind of weird, fortunately the nail techs were sweet and let me in for my appointment. Upon entering we were both seated and asked to choose our colors. What I will say is that they have a lot of variety! However, I was finding it hard to choose what color I wanted. As my nail tech began doing my nails I continued to browse through the colors but trying to be mindful of her time. She began by cutting my nails and taking out a USED NAIL FILE! The file was black and was covered in white nail dust! As she was glueing the tips to my nails, she put WAY to much glue, and the underneath and sides of my nails were getting stuck to my skin. It was very uncomfortable because throughout the entire manicure, she kept using her nail to pull my skin from the nail, because of all the glue. Let me tell you, this HURT because her nail was LITERALLY stabbing into my skin. As the manicure progressed, she kept asking me what color I wanted, I finally decided on a color and she went to go grab it. However, I then found another color that I liked and asked her for that one instead. She was really annoyed and was trying to convince me that the other color was better. While she went to grab the other color, I had to allow the acrylic on my nails to harden. During this time the nail tech had left to the back and I decided to check in on my friend who also needed help looking for a color to use. After checking in with my friend (who is sitting behind me) I went back to the nail station where the tech told me very rudely "Sit down!" I could tell that the tech was getting annoyed because she started talking to the other nail techs in Vietnamese. She got so distracted that she ended up cutting me and telling me that I got cut because of my skin?? I do not understand what she meant by this, but it's extremely unprofessional to be so careless as to cut one of your clients. As the manicure progressed, she kept using her nail to pull my skin apart from the glue that was sticking it to the acrylic (ouch)! Finally the nail polish stage, she reaches for the nail polish I had picked out, but this is when I noticed it was gel. I asked her if she offered the same color in gel, and she said no. I asked her if I could grab a regular polish, and she said okay, so I proceeded to find another color in a regular polish instead of a gel. At this point, I could tell she had enough. She was rushing through the panting process and was asking why I didn't want gel, that it makes manicures last longer. I told her that I just prefer regular polish, and she seemed annoyed by this. As soon as she put the top coat, she left , didn't give me a fan to dry my nails, and never massaged oils into my nails to moisturize them. 1 star because the nail tech really took her time on the shape of my nails (almond). Overall, not a good experience, nail tech cut me, used a dirty file, and I will not be coming back! It's a bummer because the overall nail result looks okay (minus the glue marks all over my skin and the cut) and only paid $25 for a full set acrylic. read more

I've been many nail salons in Orange County and California. This is the best salon because the store is super clean and tech- savy, which is totally awesome! Ken was awesome, a perfectionist when it comes to shaping and cleanning up nails as well as his designs. He did a wonderful job on my nails. I showed his an image on Pinterest, and he was able to duplicate the picture exactly- even the color. Besides, all the ladies/ technicians who work here were friendly, helpful and caring customers. After noticing that my coworker's nails were always super cute, I finally gave her guy a try. Well I have to sat that's it was the best thing I ever did. I've been looking for someone who could do fun, sparkly designs - and I have finally found Ken! Just the fact that he uses Swarovski crystals sets him apart from the shops that use the cheap, non sparkly stones. He is very artistic and can paint any design and can create beautiful flowers with acrylic. I told him I wanted lots of sparkles and that's exactly what I got. Plus, he was able to add 3D flowers that looked just like the ones I wear in my hair. In addition to his amazing talent, he's really nice! He's so popular that his schedule fills up, but he's willing to work with your schedule and will squeeze you in if he can. I'll post a pic of my nails! I came here to kill some time as I was early for an appointment. Upon entering, the owner looked over to me with attitude, like I was bothering him when I walked in. As opposed to a warm welcome, he said "what do you want?" The ladies, who were nicer told me to pick a color though I asked several times to see their list of services. The gel mani/pedi was nothing exciting and their polish and gels seem quite old. My gel mani was one of the worst gel manicures I had ever gotten. Uneven, all over my cuticles and not smooth at all. My pedicure, was just ok but the worst is that the polish was unevenly painted on. The environment was not inviting and during my hour treatment, I had several ants crawl on me. Had an appointment today at 930 for a gel fill ($30 for gel, $15 for regular fill) with Ken. Ken was amazing! He was awesome and so nice. The ladies were very hospitable with offering me water and such. Ken's technique is something I have never seen before. My coffin shape was so perfect and even throughout my all my fingers. He made sure I was happy with the shape and to let him know if I wanted any adjustments. Also, he fills the nail to the brim to avoid any of your nails peeking through underneath and even makes the nail itself very thin to make it look very natural. Furthermore, he shaves down your real nail that is growing underneath the acrylic which is so crazy! I have never had a fill session where they have done that for me. I can't say enough good things about Ken. This is the happiest I've ever been about my nails! He doesn't need my review to let you know that his work is good. He's been doing it for years now, so he definitely knows what he's doing and what people want. Definitely going to come back... forever!! Love his work so much! There are no shortages on nails salons in the area but finding one that consistently does quality work, keeps their salon and instruments clean and isn't over charging you is like finding a rainbow unicorn. I spent years searching and was constantly disappointed. Either my nails chipped in a few weeks or the worst experience I has was a salon with dirty tools ruined one of my nails; and the worst was most of the time I was over paying for sub par work. I had finally given up when my friend referred me to this place. And I knew from my first experience that I had finally found my rainbow unicorn. Ken does amazing nails. As do all the women I have been to here. They even performed a miracle and fixed a broken toe nail I had suffered from dirty tools at the last place I was going to. UPDATE: Exactly one week later and my gel polish is no good. It looks like the coats of polish were way too thick. It's already having major chips. A regular manicure lasts longer. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary to cause it to chip. At the first sign of new growth, the polish started lifting from the cuticles. I'm super sad that my manicure didn't last a whole week (the first chipping actually happened on the third day). I feel like it was a waste of money. I'm revising from 5 stars to 2 stars (they can keep a star because my pedicure is still in point...note, I did regular polish for my pedi). --------- I came in a little before 5 on a Monday without an appointment. They were able to accommodate me, no problem. I got a gel manicure and pedicure with callous removal. I am happy with both. They paid a lot of attention to detail...especially with the pedicure. They were polite and friendly. The angling of getting the manicure done was a bit uncomfortable since I was also having the pedicure done in the massage chair at the same time. But it wasn't a big deal for me. Also, it's not normally a concern for me, but it might be for others so I will mention it...they do speak Vietnamese to one another while working.
