This was my first time using a Mobile groomer and I love it!! I just rescued a Maine Coon in September who bounced around alot and is just a freak about leaving the house or having people over. So we tried the Mobile service. It's a bit costly but to open your garage door, hand your fur bundle over to a groomer parked in your driveway and an hour later, have your baby handed back to you is priceless! No other animals around to create anxiety, no car ride anywhere - how can you beat it? LeeAnn told me she has 33 years experience so I immediately felt very comfortable with her. Very clean place, and super friendly staff. I took my ragdoll cat here to get him all shaved and knots out I wanted it pretty short. She did a fantastic job, she fixed what I messed up on him and he looked so much better! I was worried about how he'd be there but he did great. The nails were trimmed nice too. I'll definitely be back, very fair pricing as well I don't know that if do the mobile grooming but I like that that's an option. Today was my first time using PurrFurred Pet Styling. I have seen their vans around the community and decided to look them up on Yelp...then I decided to take a chance. I have 2 puggles who I don't regularly using grooming services for. We usually bathe them ourselves and brush them. I didn't really think they needed to be "cut" or "groomed" because of their breed. However, their hair was starting to get out of control....despite my daily use of a Roomba and a Furminator. Dana was scheduled to come at 4:30 and texted me to say she was running ahead of schedule and if I would mind if she came early. I told her absolutely! She was friendly, courteous, and very professional. After she saw my two puggles, she said, "They must be big shedders." I told her, "you have no idea!!!" She asked if I had ever considered shaving them. It had honestly never entered my mind. I figured a shaved dog looked like a hairless rat. She assured me that they would not look "bald" and it would significantly cut down on the hair in the house. She shaved a small part of one of my dogs and asked me to come and take a look. Although I still had minor reservations, I trusted her 14 years of dog grooming experience and said, "Go for it." What's the worst that could happen? If I hated it and it would grow back. Well, when Dana emerged from her van with my newly shaved dog...I was astounded. She looked adorable and was softer than I had ever seen her. I couldn't believe that I had never thought of that before!! I gladly accepted her offer to shave my other puggle. It was one of those times where I wished I had known about this years before. To say that I am beyond satisfied would be an understatement. In addition, I told her that both of my dogs have severe issues with having their nails trimmed. In fact, I typically have to have the vet do it after they are heavily sedated. It's a huge process of giving them their meds, waiting 2 hours for them to kick in, driving them to the vet and having it done. So, I told her not to worry about their nails if they were getting upset. Dana had absolutely no issues filing their nails and was shocked about the heavy sedatives that we typically have to use. Lastly, the fact that they come to you and that you can spare them an anxiety filled car ride...is amazing! I am so happy that I decided to give them a chance and that I trusted Dana's years of experience to help guide me to a great decision! I have found my new go to groomer and I couldn't be happier! read more

First time using this mobile service and definitely my last! The lady was 20 minutes late and the van was filthy. It was full of dog hair from previous clients. She advertised 15 years experience with cats, however the end result was very disapointing and sad! She shaved my long hair cats entire TAIL! And CUT HER WHISKERS!!! Her whiskers were cut unevenely, and she has a cut on her neck. Clearly, this lady was running behind and she made up all of her time on my cat which took less then 40 minutes!! read more

We love this place for our kitties. We have 2, and they're both older and don't groom themselves as thoroughly as they used to. They always come back smelling wonderful. Numa is always brushed out, and they take extra care with his dry skin. He's a bit fussy, so it's a huge treat hearing how well he does. Lenore is a sweet, little old lady with wrinkly skin, and I'm super grateful the extra care that goes into making her look good and keeping her safe. We usually provide a sweater for Lenore since she's so small, and they happily take an extra couple of seconds to put it on her and make sure she's warm and comfortable while waiting for us to arrive. They both come home happy and content, looking good, smelling great, and with neat, trim nails. The groomers here are true cat whisperers. I highly recommend them. read more

PurrFurred has done a great job with our dog. Our dog is approaching 13 years old and is starting to show his age. The worked with me to make sure he remains comfortable and they make him look great, despite his losing much of his hair (he's a hair dog, not fur). I always ask for a call when he's about 10 minutes out as I don't like him to have to be in a kennel at all. He is always happy when I pick him up and have never had any issues. I was desperately looking for a groomer for our two dogs. We have an Elkhound and a boxer mix. Our Elkhound is very skittish and scared. Even though the mobile grooming is a little more expensive than the salon, I thought it was a great idea and decided to try it. DO NOT get your CAT groomed here. The one tech who was awesome and knew what she was doing with cats left the company so they sent me a different groomer the next time. The groomer clearly didn't know how to groom cats, because she shaved the bottom portion of my cat's legs (which any groomer for felines should know that you aren't supposed to do!). Sad to say it is convenient, but I would not advise using for felines! Update: Jason- I appreciate you reaching out, but I would rather not take a chance with another groomer with your company. I am very upset picked up my dog and tried not to show my frustration. They always do my golden doodle beautifully, but I took my dachshund for the first time and he is a LONG haired dachshund I specifically asked for a trim of his hair now he looks like a short haired dachshund :(. Nothing wrong with them but that's not my little guy. Also tonight, about a week and a half AFTER the appointment, I find a cotton ball stuffed down one of his ears it took me about 5 minutes to pull all of it out. And when I did yeah they cleaned them. But what disturbed me the most was that there was obvious stained blood on the cotton ball. My poor baby! Thus, being said, I will never take my dachshund here EVER again. I always tip well. Way over 20% and I really wish that I didn't. Extremely unsatisfied. read more

I had a less than nice experience with this place. First off I called and asked when their LATEST apt was that they schedule as I need my husband to be home in order to bring our cat to the mobile truck, I was told by the scheduler that it was 8 PM. The groomer showed up at 8 AM while I was still sleeping. I didn't hear my phone until 815 and when I answered and told her my apt was at 8pm she gave me attitude and said "we don't even schedule apts that late". Okay even it that's true why in the world would this scheduler tell me 8pm when I specifically asked for the LATEST evening apt. My cat came back in the house looking WORSE than when he went out there. She didn't cut his hair like I had made the apt for, bc she said she didn't have time and it wasn't on her apt. Books for that service. Another screw up with your lovely scheduler. He was still wet from his bath and his hair was falling out like crazy. It seems like she groomed him and then left most of his hair on top of his coat and didn't remove the loose hair as it was all clumped up on his back above his tail. I will never ever call these people again. This is a shame as they are the only mobile grooming service in my area. read more
