I've now been patronising Wigglebutts for a few years in order to save my dog's neck (we suspected that he has a collapsed trachea--now confirmed by xray) but decided after the latest xray that it was not a good idea to even have him groomed, as I don't know if it will contribute to his very small airway being cut off. Instead of expressing even the least bit of comfort, or maybe ideas of how he can be groomed without touching his neck area, the owner (who has been grooming him every 6-8 weeks for the last couple years and her company groomed him during covid for two years), texted back nothing when I explained he's not doing well, and X-rays have confirmed that his breathing passage is the size of a straw, so now he's going on lifetime meds to try to keep the passageway from collapsing completely. All she did was text back, a day later, "confirmed, cancelled" WOW. I mean, I've been tipping her and paying her $130 for grooming Sammy a total of 4-5 years, tipping her $20-30 each time, and that's the response. I guess every dog and owner is no one to her. Tells me something about the caring inside her soul. I suppose she probably does not want the liability to trim him, but at least some words of comfort would have been business like and appropriate. read more

Scheduled an appointment within 30 minutes of leaving a voicemail. Scheduler was very courteous and setup the appointment without issue. The day of the appointment (within 1 business day of my first call), Kathleen called and advised she would be able to groom our dog sooner than we scheduled, which was quite helpful. We are very happy with our overall experience and result of the grooming our dog had. We have a Shiba Inu, which is a very skittish breed. It is a credit to both Kathleen and Wiggle Butts in general that the grooming was prompt but thorough, not lasting longer than 30 minutes or so, while also handling our skittish pup. Amazing! They are prompt, polite, and thorough. I have 2 corgis. Both of them shed like you wouldn't believe, especially when they're blowing their coats. One of them is so impossible about having her nails done that they were in really gnarly shape by the time we gave up and called for help. My doggies are in amazing shape (so fluffy!!) after just 30-40 minutes each, and they're obviously happier after their little "spa" visit. They look and smell so nice, everyone just wants to snuggle them! Over the years, I've tried out most of the groomers in this area, and nobody else holds a candle to their customer service. The cost was very high for just a bath and there really weren't any frills or benefits other than them coming to your house. My lab mix hates going to the groomer, but seemed really happy and proud of his fluffiness. My chiweenie is a major shedder and she seemed sleek and happy after the service. It was super convenient. This is the 2nd time we have used wigglebutts. The first time was great, and our dog looked fantastic. The second time we had a different groomer and we are very disappointed. She said he had some matting and there was nothing she could do but shave him down, but what she did was give him complete razor burn on his behind and around the private area. It's so hot to the touch and he will not leave those areas alone. He keeps licking and biting due to it burning. I feel terrible for him and just hope the areas do not get infected. It is a VERY expansive haircut for your dog to get razor burn and feel terrible. I would shop around for groomers. read more

NEVER AGAIN! I used Wiggle Butts mobile grooming service for the first time for my small dog on Saturday, June 25 2022. I asked for a short haircut. My dog was returned and was basically shaved. The groomer reported that she had some dry skin areas which I was aware of. After the groomer left, my dog kept shaking her head and couldn't settle, which is very unusual after a grooming. The next day I noticed an area of razor burn with scabbing under her chin/neck area which was the obvious cause of her discomfort. After I emailed, they replied that the groomer "discussed" the dry areas when it was actually only mentioned and no mention of the injury that was most likely bleeding due to the fact that there was scabbing the next day.In my email response from the owner I was advised to make sure my review was "factual otherwise it would be documented". I WAS very happy with their services until I had a appointment scheduled at 4:45. The groomer claims that they showed up at 4:36 and then left at 4:37 saying no one was home. Not true. She had cancelled the appointment. How can u supposedly show up and leave after one minute especially if the appointment was scheduled for 4:45. So disappointed. And then charged me a 65 cancellation fee when it wasn't even me that cancelled. The last time she groomed my bichon she did a terrible job. Ears all uneven including the feet. But I was still willing to give them another chance. Will not recommend them in the future. So disappointed! read more

we have been using wiggle butt services for over a year. our groomer Karen has been doing wonderful job with our dogs. Today for our grooming services Jennifer came over, she literally shaved our dog and cut him with blade on one side. when confronted she was extremely rude. I requested to take it up to the owner since we have only had good experience in the past. that's when she informed me that she is the owner. I am shocked that she did such a horrible job and than to top it off had no manners to provide some reasonable solution instead of being rude. Using their website, I was able to select the specific services I wanted: basic grooming and haircut, oatmeal shampoo, teeth cleaning, and de-shedding. Madeline showed up right on time, we reviewed the plan, and then she took Cara off into her van. About an hour and a half later, Cara came back clean, coiffed, and cute. Great Service coming to your location. Used the service for my Medium size Labradoodle about 4 times. The first two groomings were OK, the third time I was told he was a little matted due to the snow we had in December and he needed to be cleaned up a little more, but at least I was told that right after his grooming. This last time he was groomed in January, not sure exactly what the problem was. But, he looked terrible. When he first came out, I thought it might be because he was still a little damp. Anyways, after he was fully dry later that day he looked No better, he was un-even all over, and his coat was very choppy looking. I contacted Jennifer and expressed my displeasure with the current grooming and she claimed he was very matted up again. I told her I didn't think he was that matted as he just had a bath a week before he was groomed, in my opinion he was actually still very "fluffy". Instead of trying to work something out with me, I was just getting excuses. Unfortunately we will not be back, and she lost an additional friend of ours that was using the service as well. read more

I read all of the five star reviews and felt confident when selecting Wiggle Butts for a mobile grooming. I wanted mobile grooming for my dog due to my schedule. Unfortunately, my experience was not a five star experience. I have been getting my dog groomed for more than 8 years and never had much of a problem, until this time. My dog is supposed to receive a specific breed cut. However, this groomer cut off his ENTIRE skirt (the most distinguishing feature of his breed specific cut), claiming they couldn't brush out the matting in his fur. Since this was not my first time having my dog groomed nor the first time that my dog has had matting, I knew better. I don't know if the groomer just didn't know how to do it or didn't want to take the time, but cutting his skirt was NOT the answer. Charge more for de-matting like other groomers, that would be the answer in my opinion. Or simply inform the customer that you don't don't how or don't have the time and let the customer decide. I was absolutely devastated when I saw him! In the end, the owner did not charge me for the groom because of my dissatisfaction. So basically I got a TERRIBLE groom for my dog...for free. Now I have to wait for his fur to grow back and I have no idea how long that will take. I guess we won't be putting my little buddy in the holiday photos this year. read more

The groomer cut al of my dogs fur and caused his nail to bleed. Also I had used her before and she told me her charge. But every time I made an appointment she increased the fee by $5. It went from 85-95 in a matter of a few months. Used in January and was very happy. Recent grooming was HORRENDOUS. When sharing my dissatisfaction with company, was met with blame - saying she had impacted coat. NOT TRUE..... a matting behind the ears does not equal an impacted coat. Lily is a rescue with bad hips and an sweet personality. A mobile groomer allows Lily to get the attention she needs without having to sit in a cage for being unable to stand the entire time. I went thru hoops to make sure I could take her home and give her a place to feel safe. She is well loved, given the best food, kisses, hugs and brushed out regularly! I did not ask for a refund, I asked that she be bathed and brushed out as that is what I paid for. Their response to me and to my reviews show that they care little for their customers and little for repeat business. I couldn't have been more disappointed with our experience. I specifically told the groomer that we liked our dog long and shaggy. Although I knew she had some matting on her stomach, she assured me that they had ways to work around it and would start with the longest clippers. An hour later, she came to the door with my dog shaved. What is most disappointing is that I could not have been clearer with my desires. If she encountered an issue and felt she needed to shave her, why wouldn't she have come back up to the door to inform me instead of just shaving the dog completely? I feel like this was an easy solution for her and extremely disheartening for us. Beside looking like a completely different dog, it is the middle of winter and now our dog has no fur! I tried a mobile groomer because my dog got stressed out going to the traditional groomer. This caused her much great anxiety. read more
