What an interesting and fun place! We had a meal here and played a round of their seasonal putt putt. The meal was pretty good! I had the bbq smash burger and was very happy with the taste. The fries where super well made and I loved the spicy ketchup to. Our server was also very kind. As for the mini golf the main downside is it's really expensive. 9 holes is 18 dollars a person. For all three courses it's 25 a person. We did the seasonal haunted library course. The themeing was really cool and I enjoyed the digital score cards. However, it was a super difficult course. Unfortunately at 5 this place does become an 18+ venue meaning don't expect to bring your family here for a night of fun. The puttery is awesome! I love the idea of an indoor mini golf course. In august it was nice to be out of the sun and in AC. The courses are smaller because they are indoors but they are still decorated nicely and pretty challenging! We went on a Sunday night and we're the only people on our course so we were able to take our time with it all. The bar attached is fun too- you can get a drink and take it into the golf course with you. It seemed like a lot of people were in the bar and not golfing, so it's prob just a fun place to hang out even if you don't golf. The drinks were good and they even have some specialty cocktail to match the theme of your chosen course. It was $40 for two people for one round, which is pretty pricey. It ended up being worth it and we had fun, but in situations where you couldn't take your absolute time because other people were using the course then $40 for 30 min of golf is pretty steep. read more

Having a track record of not being great at mini golf and having that take away my experience, I really enjoyed this place. My friend and I were in search of something to do for the day and found this place. Located near the Strip District, the outside looks like a warehouse. Walking in, you're greeted with many different decorations. The place is separated into different courses based on difficulty, with each section having its own theme. We tried the library course first, the hardest one. Everything, from the lampshade, and numbered signs to real books integrated into the bookshelves, telescopes, and much more, I really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The service was also great, with servers coming up to us to get our orders for drinks and making sure we had enough drinks throughout the course. Each course had its own server, along with a different drink menu at each one. We tried the Augusta Sunset, along with a bourbon drink. With each course having drinks, we were able to try many of them, most of which I cannot find the name for online. We also tried the Lodge and Car-themed courses, which also had great service and great drinks to go with them. The server at the Car-themed course even made really strong drinks for us. We even sat down at the eatery on the first floor and got a Meatball Pizza, which was okay. It wasn't great but an okay price for the size of it. Challenge-wise, the Library course was hard but expected. The Lodge course was harder than expected, especially the last hole of the course. Having experienced the place already, I don't believe I would come here again because I feel like it's a one-and-done deal. I definitely recommend it to anyone that's looking for something fun to do. Stopped in here with some friends while in the strip district to play a round of mini golf. The building is very large with several floors so there is a lot of space to hangout. We checked in at the front desk and selected the garage golf course, then ordered Moscow mules at the bar that were made well and then headed to play golf. One thing to note is that the placement of the golf holes were very odd and it only took 20 minutes to play a round of mini golf. After golf we ordered the margherita pizza that was delicious and also was a pretty big compared to other margherita pizzas that are typically small in size. One thing to highlight was that the service was excellent, the hostess who checked us in to play golf was friendly, there is also someone who comes around while you're playing golf that you can place drink orders with and they check in often. When you get to the course, there is staff there that explains how to play and answers any questions you may have. The energy of the staff was great and it was a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, if you are looking to play some serious mini golf - this is probably not the place for you. I would say it's more of a night out with great food and drinks, and a side of golf since the rounds are very short, but it was still a fun time. read more

Notes -It takes about 20 minutes for a group of 4 to navigate 9 holes at $18 per person, per round. I really wish it took longer to make our way through the course. -I would have done the garage course and not the library. We did the Library course and we're a little frustrated because 6 of the 9 holes were replications of one another: hitting the ball up a hill. We were told it was the hardest course, and all of us play well, but it wasn't skill based, just luck based. Additionally, service on the "course" is only on hole one, so when we said we needed a moment to think, we got left drink less once we got past hole one. Once we got back downstairs, drinks and food were delicious and the service was better. Lastly, we went during the day which made the experience enjoyable. The holes are extremely quick and you get through the course in 15 minutes. I was expecting a little bit more time. They have 2 different courses you can pick through. The garage and the library. Basic layouts and only 9 holes. It took my brother and I about 25 minutes to get through the entire Lodge course. But, it was a fun time! We enjoyed it and we're happy to get in very close to our reserved time! All of the staff was wonderful. The woman who explained the course and scoring to us was so sweet. Food and drinks would definitely be 5 stars--just a bit pricey. Golf overall I would say 2-3 stars. We are excited to try the other courses and see how they differ from the first! They went above and beyond to ensure we understood how to play, checked in on us during play, and genuinely cared about us as patrons. They are also honest employees. I unknowingly left my purse there before heading home for the night, and they kept it safe until I discovered it missing the next day. I had a great time but it was also very expensive night out! The Puttery is new to Pitt and the Strip District. I was there in a Tuesday around 5:30 and didn't have a reservation. We were able to play immediately. It is $18 per person to putt 9 holes. We played in the Garage which is unique to our area. I had 2 cocktails while playing. They were $14 each. After playing our 9 holes we walked around to the ali tart and Ski Lodge to see what they were like. I felt the Garage had beat photo ops but the Library was really cool and would like to play there next. As for the food i had all 3 types of bruschetta offered and was impressed their was gluten free bread available! Cauliflower crust is also an option for the pizza! Overall had a great time but be prepared for an expensive night especially if you do more than 1 room and eat dinner. read more

We had a blast at Puttery for our first visit! It was easy to make a reservation online and I suggest doing so. They do take walk ins but I heard a lot of people having to wait a while. When you check in at the front desk, they'll offer 3 different courses. We chose The Lodge which was a ski resort theme. Each course has a couple speciality drinks that you can order while playing. My husband got the Fireside drink while we played. This course had 9 holes and it was so fun! Afterwards we were able to snag a table at the bar and ordered drinks and food. I had the margarita stand-off, which I LOVED. We also ordered a side of fries and the sausage and hot honey pizza. Both were so delicious! This place just opened and lemme give you the break down. 1) you online reservation does not secure the time you are starting. Once you arrive at your time you select a course to start at (there are a total of 3 to pick from) for example: I booked online at 2:30 and got a 3:05 start time on the Library course. So keep that in mind. None the less since they got me it got me to the bar where we tried three drinks from the menu as well as one specialty drink to the Library course (as long as you like the alcohol in the drink you'll like it) Once we actually started golfing 35$ later we enjoyed the 9 hole course and a lot of these holes are do-able for a hole in one if you try hard enough. Made reservations 2 days ago for 6 pm for 6 people for unlimited and 2 time slots for Feb 10th. We all walked in and got checked in and stopped at the 1st floor bar for drinks. They were a little busy, but we got in and got drinks quickly. The decor is inviting and comfortable. Made our way to the lodge course, staff was helpful and great to this point. We played our 1st round. The drink area in the lodge course was not open, and no one came around during the 1st course for any drinks. After the lodge round, we went back to the 1st floor bar for drinks and then made our way upstairs. Played the garage course next. Again, no one came around for drinks, and while we waited a bit at the bar window, we were not acknowledged and kept playing. After this we went to the 2nd floor restaurant area to have dinner. This is where things really went downhill. They were busy but not crazy. We got a high top and ordered drinks. It took forever for drinks. Then we order food. The food came out all different times. I ordered the meatball hoagie. It was luke warm and fyi it has a super spicy relish on it. I couldn't finish, and a male friend at our table ordered the same, and even he thought it was too spicy. It is also not listed on the menu that it has a super spicy relish. The pasta , burger, and chicken sandwich that was ordered with our group.. they all said that was good. I told our server that the menu should really tell you that it's spicy and she got a manager. I was asked if I wanted anything else, but by that time, we were ready to be done. Still charged for all the food but didn't eat it. We made it to the last course, the library. Yet again, no one came to get drink orders, and the bar part wasn't open. It was pretty busy in the whole place by this time. We had a good time but they need to make some changes. If they can't accommodate the volume of people, they should stop letting people in. I dont think I would go back. It's new and hip now, but if they don't make a few changes, it's not gonna last. It's ashame because if everything had been where it should have, it would have been such a blast. For a couple with everything, we spent about $160.00 for about 3 hrs. All the staff at the actual courses were great as was the staff at the 1st floor bar. The 2nd floor restaurant staff..not so much. read more

I was recently visiting Pittsburgh. We enjoy bars with games, so we came here for some mini golf. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We chose to do 1 course, but they have 3 available. The team member suggested the Lodge course, which was fun! The vibe was cozy which was fitting for a cold November night. Some holes were quite difficult, but I'm an amateur at mini golf so can't speak for everyone! It took about 25 minutes to complete 9 holes, and there was a big group in front of us. Very cool concept for a night out! Cocktails (including the virgin ones) were tasty. A live DJ was a cool touch to top it all off. Loved that there are different drink menus for each course. Claims to be Par 2, FALSE, the courses are super challenging , which actually turns up the fun, so not a complaint. BUT, groups didn't seem properly staggered so, at times, there was a long wait (again, I think related to the course being more challenging than advertised and the fact that you can drink the entire time you play). Space was confusing to navigate in some areas (not always enough communication about what happens with your ball), and prices are steep. That being said, for a fun night out that is about more than drinking, this spot is a great choice! read more

A cool twist on mini golf. I like that the courses are indoors, has 3 different courses, and a bar is close by if you're out with friends. It is pretty pricey though, especially given how small and simple each hole is. I highly recommend paying for the unlimited courses, which is about $26. This way you can spend several hours playing, try all the courses, and work on mastering them. The ski resort room was my favorite, it had the most interesting holes that challenged you. The library course had very similar holes throughout the room, so not a lot of variety. And the auto shop room had pretty simple holes that let you get par or a birdie easily. There are digital score cards at each hole for all rooms, so you know where you are in the standings and don't need to add anything up. Definitely a cool place to experience, I just don't see myself coming here very often given the price and entertainment level. read more
