I called Pyramid and they were unwilling to come out to check my attic for squirrels, after I told them another company had wrapped my home earlier this year. My current company said they will not be available for two weeks, so I decided to engage another company. Well Pyramid stated they could not guarantee another companies work. I did not want them to guarantee someone else's work, but to provide a service they claim to offer per their website. Very poor customer service and the lack of effort to earn my business. I used their service a year ago, which is extremely helpful and responsive. Not a lot of companies do apartment roach problem and they took care of it for me and I was really grateful and I didn't see a single roach for almost a year. BUT... Then almost a year passed. I wanted to renew the chemicals they put in my place cause Terry told me they chemicals only work for a year. And I started seeing more of the bugs in my place then I first called Terry in July-August and left voicemail. No response. Called again August-September and left voicemail. No response. Called in again plus sent message on Yelp. Responded for a day then shown as read for 3-4 more days. if you guys don't do the apartment business anymore, I get it. At least let me know? If you guys are fully booked, I get it, at least let me know. I came back for you because I was really impressed with the result. But it was really rude to leave your customer on read for couple of days...and never responded to any of the voicemails. The service was really great and effective. Pyramid was one of the first services I used when I moved into both of my homes. Setting up appointments for consultations and follow up treatments were easy. The products that this company uses is super effective at keeping bugs outside of the home, and in the rare event that we find a big inside, it is usually upside down with minimal movement. I like that most of the products used are applied inside of the wall instead of a spray. I did attempt to stray based on an existing pest control contract on my newly purchased home, but found myself QUICKLY contacting Pyramid because the other company was not as effective (more than a few bugs inside after treatment) or responsive (waiting over a week for a follow up visit) to our needs. Adrian does an amazingly thorough job! We moved into a new house and during the cleaning process, realized it was completely infested with roaches. Adrian came by the morning before we moved our stuff in, spent nearly two hours laying down bait and dust in the attic, kitchen and basement, and we immediately started to see a difference. Now we're a month out-- there is hardly a roach to speak of, and the emotional scars are beginning to fade. ;-) Adrian came by again today to double check that everything was on track. Still loving the service. Terry is super laid back about service and will make apt's for you over email, which is huge if you're super busy like me. Most importantly, there are no bugs in my house save a random small spider here are there. That's right, knock on wood, I have yet to see a cockroach in my house. Being in the south, that's huge! Also, the wasps have not come back, so they really took care of the nest vs just a superficial treatment. I know this is a thing because the last guy I used for a wasps did that superficial treatment and guess what, the following year I had wasps again. Not ok. Pyramid came out in March 2019 to seal my home due to squrrels in my attic. After Terry came over and completed the job , I was told that work was warrantied for 1 year. Around June 2019 I noticed that squerrels got back into my attic. I have made 3 attemps to contact Terry with no resolve. Wow I'm super impressed with this exterminating company! Local business, amazing customer service and the results so far are the best I have ever seen. We used Aptive for a solid year and were so disappointed in the lack of results and the constant traffic of bugs. After our contract was up I started researching local exterminator companies and found Pyramid! I reached out for a quote and got a response immediately and then a personal phone call from Terry to review my pest control concerns and questions. An appointment for a walkthrough and treatment were scheduled. Terry answered my many questions, was patient with me and very informative. I was impressed from the start. The day of our walkthrough he explained how the application process would be performed and how it worked. I've never seen an application like this before, unusual but extremely effective- they treat inside the walls of your home! Not spraying stuff on the floors but placing it into the very walls of your home. He removed switch covers and outlets and treated inside!!! He treated inside in the attic which had never been treated before, through the entire house and basement/garage. He treated outside along the perimeter of the house with a weather resistant treatment and we looked at a carpenter bee issue which he also treated and gave advice on and he checked our termite traps and replaced these as well. Within a week we were seeing dead roaches, spiders, wasps, etc. EVERYWHERE. I was floored. I didn't even know we had so many bugs inside until I started finding them dead in the kitchen, the bathroom, the garage, our living room! And this doesn't include the dead bugs we found on porches and in the yard. So far I can tell you this was worth every penny, we paid with a check for an entire year up front and received an emailed receipt. Reapplication is included but we were advised we would likely not need to see Pyramid again for a YEAR. I hope that's the case but it's also comforting to know reapplication is included!
