This place does fake advertisement the pictures they have up are definitely not their work. I've been here twice. The first time they did a horrible job, but I decided to give it a second opportunity since I know people have bad days. The first time the work was very messy acrylic under the nails. No deatils what so ever. Today the same thing happened I payed 70$ for an acrylic size small nails..... theres acrylic under my nails nd around my nails on my actual skin. There's polish on my fingers around the nails aswell. The nail styles they do r very 2015 big and bulky...

Amazing work! These nail artists are so incredibly talented and creative:) very detailed and precise! She did a fantastic job and was so great . Excellent experience and will definitely be going back in once I'm in town again. I loved it! And so so worth every penny!

This place got a makeover and is now giving a glam vibe! The pedicure chairs are the best I've been in. They are actually comfortable and give a decent massage. The chairs dont make you feel awkward with accessive movements to where you feel you're slow crumping as extra from the movie you got served. LOL Anyways...Gigi is amazing! She really enjoys being a nail tech and is always up for doing creative styles. I show her what I want and she excutes!! Sorry, I don't remember the lady's name that usually does my pedicure, but she also does an amazing job. Thank you so much ladies!!! The older lady that does the reception is not very pleasant. I try my best to just to ignore her rudeness. I don't know if it's because of a language barrier, but I would suggest a nicer person to manage the front. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. See yall in 3 weeks.

Broken nails 1 week apart. Same nail salon

Broke my pinky nail 1 week apart on each hand. Today I went back to get the 2nd pinky fixed and told it would be 2hr wait to fix just 1 nail. In July, I got the V-French tip last minute before my Europe trip and the white peaks weren't centered, there was dried-up dip powder under my nails but I didn't have time to get it fixed. When I returned my right hand pinky broke pressing the button on a water fountain. In August, I got a fill and pinky fix with a plain French tip for $65. 1 week later, the left hand pinky snaps as I close my car door. Don't support this business. The prices are ridiculous for the poor- quality. I'm convinced they purposely do a lousy job gluing the acrylic nails so you have to return. AND THEN when you DO return for anything less than a full-set, they try to make you wait 2hrs because of course my 1-nail service isn't going to pay as much. I'm never coming back here ever again.

Was a little pricey but seems like all the mail salons all charge around what this place does. $10 to remove acrylics, $ 5 more for powdered dip and $30 for gel manicure. I love the hours and the fact that they also have walk ins.

I've been to this location several times and have never been disappointed. Each time I try new employees and am always pleasantly surprised!! The location is very clean and have dividers up to protect for Covid Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable!! Went in for a manicure and they rushed through it, taking little to no care in shaping my nails or making sure the coats of paints were even, you can see in the picture how awful the paint job is. Very disappointing! read more

This place was my go to spot but after today I'm not so sure. After a long day of work and last minute thanksgiving shopping all I really wanted to do was to relax and pamper myself but as soon as I stepped through the door that didn't seem to be the case..a group of women I did not know at all started to talk about how ugly my hair color was in SPANISH,most likely thinking I didn't understand which is a thing I'm used to being a light skinned Mexican. I understood everything but ignored them and tried to stay as calm as possible. But they kept talking about my hair color and how I looked throughout the entire time I was getting a pedicure done meanwhile I kept getting harassed over paying more for a gel pedicure by my nail lady which I eventually caved in on after they asked me three or four times. Once my nail lady started on my manicure she kept insisting and insisting and INSISTING that I get gel and what seemed to be the 10th time of saying "No thank you"she finally listened!...amazing.it only took 10 times. One of the women came up to me and asked me (in Spanish) what color my nails were I responded sharply "No se" meaning "I don't know" and looked the other way to ignore her but she went on about me to her friends saying my pointy nails were ugly like my hair (keep in mind I don't know this woman! I did nothing wrong to her!) It was hard ignoring her at this point because they were sitting right next to me. She came over again to take a picture of the color I had chosen and I then told her in English "it's plum, it's called rosewood" she snapped back at me "y que te importa!" Which roughly translates to "and what do you care?!" I looked at her in disgust!she must've been in her late 30's early 40's and here she is trying to pick a fight with a 20 something year old over nails?!‍ I cannot believe the nerve of this woman! Her and her friends kept talking about me all the way out the door and even waited for me in their car for me to get out of the salon to give me mean looks! ( again,I didn't do anything to this woman I have never met her before in my life‍) I liked coming here before but I can't tell if the area has gone downhill or I chose the wrong time to come in also the workers are more like used car salesmen and try to haggle you with prices and extras..can anyone please recommend a good nail place in the OC, please?!o read more

I don't know why people post bad reviews about this place. Q Nails have always been awesome to me, and the people who I have recommended their. They provide amazing customer service and do great nails. I have been getting my nails done since I was 18 I'm now 46 years old and this is the only place that the nails never lift and the polish last for 3-4 weeks. I'm sorry that you guys don't like the way they run their own business, that they have worked so hard to lift off the ground. But they have the right to put whatever prices they want you have the choice to say "no I don't want that extra service" so if you get a bill for $85 plus is your own fault. Helen is an amazing nail artist her job is flawless! She goes above and beyond to make her clients happy and make you feel like you're part of the family. So if you don't like the way these people do service, good luck with other nail places. You are not going to get the quality, the hygiene and cleanliness somewhere else. No one should talk bad about them if you really don't know them. They have to pay for insurance, rent, products and much more in order to run their business, and on top of that they still have to be nice to all and with the way prices are in California it's lucky you're getting a full set starting at $45. I am writing this to warn people about the lack of customer service here at Q nails. I scheduled an appointment early @10am and completely forgot about it. So I called and advised I would just be a walk in. I waited a little to get seated. I had my pedicure done. So did my friend. I asked nail artist Annie before my pedicure got started if she would have time for me. She responded back stating I would have to wait as she has 2 people to work on at the moment. I said I was willing to wait. So that's what I thought we agreed on. An hour passed and my friend is still sitting there waiting to get work on her acrylics. We had to speak up and right away, someone else began working on her. I asked if they had time to at least take off my nails and Annie wants to make a decision for me to not take off my nails, as if that's not what I requested. I then asked if someone else other than Annie can take off my nails. They said no one else can take off your nails, they basically refused to do the job instead of satisfying my needs. Keep in mind I've been here for a whole 2 1/2 hours by then. I asked a few more times and was ignored. I'm never coming back here due to the lack of communication. Simple basic manners. Smh. Hope y'all are having a great Sunday :) read more

I have gotten my nails done here before. I never make an appointment so I always get random lady's. However from now on I know to ask for MARY. She is amazing. I had one broken nail and needed a fill. She made sure my nails wouldn't chip. She reshaped my nails to have the perfect coffin shape. Many of these employees do a good job job here but I was definitely amazed with her service. She had Tuesday's and Wednesday off. read more

I will never go back to this place! They are stubborn, and do such a bad job when doing nails. I went in there asking for a full set, and as she was doing my set she filed my skin, instead of my nail. At the end the acrylics were fatter than my actual nail, and the almond shape I asked for was not it. when the set was done, I noticed bubbles in the polish and she didn't let my nails fully get in the machine. ive had the nails on for 2 hours and the gel has began to peal as well as stain my fingers. The worst part was she never told me the price when I asked, and when she was done another worker told me to get out of the seat and didn't let me grab my phone or my bag. She put her hand on my shoulders and pushed me to get up. By the time I was able to turn around and grab my things she had thrown them to me and I was in complete shock. If I could give this place no stars I would. Don't go to this nail salon it's a waste of time and money. read more

Worst customer service . The girl who was going to work in me kept trying to convince me to do acrylic. She kept laughing at me . Making me seem like I didn't know what I wanted. I ended up walking out . I felt very disrespected. I ended up going to another place in the same shopping center . Very high end but the crazy part is there prices are the same as Q nails read more

First time going to this place and I took my daughter with me to get a pedicure. I saw one of the ladies cleaning the previous tools with alcohol and tried using them with my daughter! This place is very well kept. There are dividers between each seat and between the artist and customer as well. Everyone has masks and they're extremely welcoming. I followed my nail lady, Andy, there from another salon and I gotta say it's a lot better. I've had 2 other reviews for this place in the past. They've typically done an amazing job until this last time. Some of the usual nail artists are still here...but some left. Unfortunately for me, I think I got a new gal this time as she didn't do all the steps you typically do when getting your nails done. Also my coffin nails came out extremely crooked...I wasn't really pleased. Anyway, this place is still good with a select few artists that are amazing...like the gentleman and 2 other ladies I recognize that have been here for quite a while (don't know there names). I'd recommend book with them or dont go in at all. Anyway...I had to go to another salon to get them fixed...I had to remove the coffin & make them square. Now they look great except for OH YEAH CUTICLES... They charged me $40 for coffin style gel acrylics...but didn't remove my cuticles...nice one! Will I be back? Perhaps with only, like I said, a select few. read more

I gave them one star because I didn't have an option to give them a 0. I went here for the 1st time for acrylic nails with rhinestones. My rhinestones fell off on the 2nd day And I called for Jennifer to call me back twice and she never did!!!! A nail broke on the 4th day and 3 days later another one broke off so I decided to go in and have them all taken off! I've had acrylic nails for over 3 years straight and never has my rhinestones EVER came off that soon. THEY CHARGE MORE than where I've had mine done and the only reason why I didn't go to my girl was because she was on vacation. ...STAY AWAY!!!!!NOT WORTH WHAT THEY CHARGE!!!! Rhinestones on my toe nail also fell off within 2 weeks! AND Rhinestones looked really cheap compared to what I've had before read more

I love coming to Q Nails to get my nails done by Kevin. He is truly one of the best. My girlfriend comes to get a pedicure by Tammy. The only person she likes doing her toes cause she is the best. We have tried other places and always come back here. Make sure to make an appointment with Kevin he is awesome and always busy so it's better to call to make sure he is available. read more

Love this place! They shape my nails so well and Mary the eyelash tech is the sweetest. I only let her work on me. There are only two other nail ladies who are very nice and I will let them work on me, but other then that the rest are so rude and annoying. read more

I've been coming here for years. Recently, I discovered Kevin and his amazing skills. I'm always hesitant to get acrylics because in the past they never get the shape right, until I met Kevin. He does an amazing job when he's shaping your nails (& he's also really cool to talk to). It's best to make an appointment with him because he can get pretty booked. Overall an ok job. There was a few nails shaped weird and the dots are not the same size like I wanted them and some are touching. Bubbles in the gel. Details are not their thing. An ok job over all. Will try again with an easier design :) read more

Earlier this week I had my sugaring appointment. I arrive to the Brea location and I get the text to respond that Im there. I respond and Im waiting patiently for someone to open the door. Im looking at the window and am noticing there are no hours posted for Sunday (the day I went). Hard to see but then I notice all the lights are off. Weird?? I look back at my texts and see that I booked for the Santa Ana location and not the Brea location. THEN I call the Santa Ana location and Lesly picks up. I told her I was at the wrong location and asked if she would still take me if I came right now and she said yes. My original appointment was at 12pm and she said she can squeeze me in at 1245pm. THEN I drove to the Santa Ana location. Thank goodness she said 1245pm because I got there at 1230 driving around looking for parking. I had never been in that area before. ***The door is unlocked and I go in and I am greeted by Lesly. She told me where to go and to prep myself. Now, I will say the room I was in had a weird smell. Not a nasty smell but like an old building smell. Lesly gets to sugaring me and honestly the pain level was 2-3/10. Also, Lesly is so cool. Professional and flexible. It really felt like a friend was servicing me. We talked about the world cup, Love Island, and others things I can't remember because I took too long to write this review! I was out of there within 15 minutes. She also recommended me a coffee shop as I asked her what was good in that area.
