This place is such an asset to the community for the reasons below: 1) coffee is amazing, I don't feel like I'm grabbing a Starbucks drink made with no thought and effort. I got the Biscoff latte which was a 5/5 for me and I've tried sheer chai. Both were not overly sweet. 2) the gaming area is cool while you wait for your drinks or just to hang 3) many coffee shops can get too cold when you're working or too loud, and it wasn't either for me 4) the samosa is very good, and such a plus to have a halal selection. Qatra is officially my new favorite cafe! The location has plenty of parking which is a huge plus. The decor is absolutely stunning, everything is so well thought out. The rugs and seating are so cozy, and I love the corner with the pool & ping-pong tables. The staff was super attentive and kept checking in, even though it was opening night and completely packed. Samaa was especially kind and made sure we had our drinks. We tried the mint lemonade, sheer chai, pistachio latte, saffron latte, and tiramisu. Everything was a 10/10, the coffee was soo smooth and delicious! This is the perfect place to come alone or with friends & family. Coffee was good but definitely NOT worth the 30+ minute wait or the 20% tip! It only took 5 minutes to drink since the cup was only 3/4 full and the rest was whipped cream! This is the only coffee shop we've been to with only 1 espresso maker and just 1 person preparing the drinks. Be prepared for a long, long wait when you visit this place. Went here for the first time about a week ago and I wish I got more pictures of the seating area/ games/ overall inside because it was so cute. They have a pool table as well a ping pong table, a lot of different seating including couches, booths, tables, and stools. Both of the lattes we had were so good and the staff was very sweet. The owners were there as well and seemed like a very wholesome family. They played Ahmad Zahir most of the time which was so nice have while doing computer work. It was relatively empty on a Tuesday night so I was able to get a lot of homework done and really feel comfortable and focused. The hype is real! read more

Really enjoyed this spot overall. The tea was good, and the space itself was very nice--open, well-designed, and comfortable. Whoever was in charge of interior design really has a knack for art and ambiance. It genuinely made me happy to see an Afghan-owned business--something you don't come across very often. That alone made the experience feel more personal and special. As for the desserts, the cream roll and baklava were 11/10. The apricot cake didn't quite hit the same mark ( could have been a little bit spongier but still a solid 7). The one theme among the comments as room for improvement is the wait time for the order. I am hopeful that as they have more time to learn, they will find a way to improve this aspect of their service. Would definitely come back and excited to see how it grows. I am hopeful i will be able to come back in the future and change the 4 star to a 5. This is a really cute cafe with outdoor seating. We got lattes and burritos and they were really good. The workers were nice. 3/5 stars because we were seated outside but then asked an employee if dogs can come inside since it was really hot, they told us yes, we hung out for 3 hours (I understand this is a long time) and eventually got asked to leave due to having a dog inside... Are dogs allowed or are they not allowed? This should be clear between all employees. Yelp also claimed dogs were allowed, if that isn't true then it should be changed online. Our dog laid down quietly on the floor and then the couch but did not make any noise or go up to any other customers. We were told to leave explicitly because the dog was inside, not because she was on the couch so I'm not sure if that was the problem. (I'd also like to add that we were in a corner table away from other people). read more

The layout of the cafe was very nice and aesthetically pleasing! I noticed there was a section for ping pong and other games which looked like a fun addition to the cafe but I didn't go over to that area to get a closer look. I ordered the iced saffron and rose matcha with oat milk and asked for extra saffron flavouring. The drink was really lacking both saffron and matcha and mostly tasted like rose water. I had already left the vicinity by the time I realised so I didn't go back to ask for a remake. My cousin ordered the iced vanilla matcha. I didn't try it myself but she mentioned it tasted very watered down. Both of us ended up barely drinking our matchas and eventually threw them away. The cafe itself is aesthetically pleasing which is why I'm giving it two stars but the quality of the drinks is what really matters. I've been hopeful that things would change as they recently opened; however, after five visits of consistent experiences, I'm giving them 3 stars. The iced lattes are very watered down and lack flavor. The hot lattes are like warm and milky. Every single time I've come in, I've had them remake it. My girlfriend and I visited Qatra Cafe this morning and it was such a nice experience! (Drive into the plaza and go around the back of the building where the orange umbrellas are) The food and drinks were very tasty. We got the breakfast burrito, the squash flat bread pastry (forgot the name!) apricot cake, vanilla matcha, and caramel latte! Not only was the food great, the staff is very friendly and efficient, and the space itself it's so cool! Lots of comfortable seating with a pool table and ping pong table in the back area. Customer service was absolutely horrible. The employees were extremely rude, making inappropriate comments, pointing, and laughing, which made the experience very uncomfortable. The owner's daughter Samaa was especially unprofessional and disrespectful. She made my coffee incorrectly and then went back and forth arguing with me about how my coffee tasted, instead of simply fixing the mistake. When she realized the order was wrong, she became visibly upset and took her frustration out on us as customers. Our entire order was wrong, and instead of apologizing, they argued with us about it. She told me she would remake one of our drinks, but instead handed me the exact same coffee back. On top of that, the coffee itself didn't even taste good. It was poorly made, unbalanced, and clearly rushed. For the price being charged, the quality was unacceptable. She also repeatedly sent employees to our table to eavesdrop on our conversation, which felt invasive and disrespectful. I don't understand why you would treat paying customers this way. Customer service seriously needs to be worked on if this business expects to thrive, especially as a newly established cafe. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning. read more

The samosas were not samosas but like Chinese meat buns with the worst quality meat. The bolani was deep fried and more of a chips then a bolani. The rose latte was not hot. I went here on a weekday afternoon for the first time. It was a little hard to find, I initially walked into the office building's lobby. However the cafe had its own separate entrance from the outside to the side of the building. I got a saffron rose matcha, potato bolani and veggie samosa. My drink was delicious and came beautifully prepared but I made the mistake of biting into the mini roses that decorated my drink. The matcha tasted good. The potato bolani was better than the veggie samosa. There was a lot of seating. They had more casual couches and tables and trays. It didn't take long to get my food. They had a pool table and a ping pong table and even a few toys too. I saw people working/studying, others socializing and playing at the pool and ping pong tables. They even had a partition you could set up and prayer rugs if you needed to pray in a corner. I would definitely recommend coming here. read more
