I am writing a second review and a "redemptive story". I visited this new Indian restaurant when it first opened several times in downtown Wheaton. I wanted to love it.....but I didn't. Food tasted good, but the cardboard plates, plastic utensils and having to order at the counter cheapened the experience for me. I genuinely liked the taste of the food but it felt pricey for what it was. My youngest son at his urging suggested we try it again and I reluctantly agreed. We had one of their new lunch combo meals which was new. Actually a very good value and we had the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Both were excellent. They now offer real silverware if you choose and a real plate. Kudos for listening to your customers and making it a much more enjoyable experience with a better value point! It was a fantastic experience and we both will be back for another taste of India! The staff were warm, gave great suggestions, and were helpful. Way to go!!! read more

Best food they make, what level of spice do you need great customer service I go every single time with my family

Three family members walked there on a Friday night after having a drink down the road at a more crowded establishment. It was a welcome reprieve to come in, sit down in the welcoming atmosphere and eat wonderful food. I would suggest that if you don't know whether to get something mild or medium, I would play it safe and order mild. The waitstaff was kind, the restaurant pleasant and the bathroom was spotless (crazy you may think, but I really think this is important). Clearly they take a lot of pride in their business. We started with 2 orders of samosas since there are only 2 to an order. Delicious! Then we ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo and lamb biryani which was super. The portions were large enough to have extras for lunch the next day -BONUS! We will def. be back! It's a great addition to the culinary choices in downtown Wheaton. read more

Fantastic place. Immediately accommodated our group of seven without a reservation on a Friday. Beautifully decorated with lovely statuary and vases. Bright, cheery colors. Casual atmosphere. Well-lit. Music at nice level for dining and chatting with friends while still providing ambience. Fast and courteous service. Got the orders right. Menus were easy to read and gave clear explanations of selections. Highly recommend this place for a lovely night out. read more

Wow. WOW. I can't say enough about this fantastic Indian place, they just opened a week ago and we couldn't be more excited, they are killing it!! Flabbergasted at the quality of the food and the happy atmosphere of this awesome little spot. I have a feeling all our parallel parking skills will greatly improve as visiting QCurry's is absolutely worth the extra hassle. The owner/chef is a pure delight, the man radiates joy and gratitude and it comes through in his cooking! The staff was eager to help and courteous. I couldn't get over the value of the food as well, it fed two adults plus enough to take home for a small lunch the next day. We split a combo two with an extra side of rice, an order of naan (don't skip this!!), and an order of samosas which I also adored. The owner gifted us an order of the kheer dessert, the perfect sweet ending to a delicious lunch. The items we tried were the chicken tikka masala, the paneer with spinach (I forget what it's called) and the chana masala I feel so thankful this restaurant opened in our town and can't wait to go back, I literally want to try everything on his menu! read more

A friend and I went here for lunch and we're delighted that they are open for lunch until 3:00pm. They have a variety of dishes that are available and one can choose 1, 2 or 3 items for a reasonable price. The lunch had few spices but was very good. I went with my husband for an early dinner. That was great, and one can get the entree spiced mild, medium or hot. At the mild level it was more spicy than lunch. Dinner was wonderful. They only thing I would say they could improve is the service. We had to ask for water, then ask for ice. At lunch we had to ask for glasses and ice. We also had to ask for more rice at lunch. Highly recommend this restaurant for either meal! read more

Being from Delhi I can vouch for this place, I ordered Lamb Korma and asked them to mashed it spicy and it was so amazing given that I am in US, it so felt like home! Ram was awesome he suggested us ordering carrot halwa and it was similar to Gianis back in Delhi with dry fruits in khoya in it The third item I ordered was chicken malai tikka which was great with chicken being very soft and not overcooked, but it may have some more malai or may be you can request it. I've found my favorite Indian food in the western sunburns. Tried QCurry's today and it was amazing!! I'm a vegetarian and so I had the Daal Makhani, Garlic Naan, Samosa, White Basmati rice. It was AMAZING The Daal Makhani was creamy, well seasoned, delicious. Their naan was soft, fresh, pliable, so fresh! Basmati rice was cooked perfectly. The samosas were PERFECT. Probably the best I've ever had. The stuffing was spiced perfectly and blended so that it wasn't super chunky. The chutney served with the samosas were also delicious. I'm really excited to go back and try all the other vegetarian friendly dishes. The ambiance is very colorful and clean. The service as friendly and helpful. Finally had a chance to try this place, the whole family loved it and can't wait to return! 1) the value is excellent, large portions and inexpensive. All 5 of us had a wide variety of food and plenty of it while spending less than takeout 2) the owners did an excellent job setting up the space, visually it looks like a trendy franchise, I'm happy to learn it's a local owner 3) the menu is large but not overly intimidating, there was a detailed description of each dish and many photos. 4) the owners and staff are awesome, it felt like they were grateful we chose to eat here and they were very helpful guiding us to pick a fantastic family dinner. I really enjoyed my first visit to QCurry!!! Wow, the lamb vindaloo was incredible; just the right amount of heat with a lot of flavor! I also appreciated the attention and service as we had two men come by to ask how our food was, if they could get anything for us, and how me and my colleagues were enjoying lunch. Absolutely love this vibrant and informal Indian restaurant. Whether you are eating take-out, or dining in, ordering is done online. If you eat in, you will be served on paper plates. This place had been in my places to try bookmarks for a while. It's moving to the top of my Indian food in the Chicago suburbs list! Set up like fast casual dining, the staff gave us the service level of dine-in. We tried the vegetable curry, palak paneer, garlic naan, and garjar al halwa (carrot dessert) and all were great. The naan and garjar were stand outs as both were more flavorful than we've had in years. The gravies were delicious and felt fresh. This place can also deliver the spicy if you want, but by default they asked about mild and medium levels. We would definitely come here and again! read more

This place is YUM!! Highly recommend! I went for lunch and got the #2 Combo (2 entrees + rice + naan) for a really good price. For their lunch combos, they have five freshly made entrees to choose from, but you can also order anything off the menu. Overall, I got the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, rice + naan, mango lassi, and samosas. Everything was so flavorful, hot, fresh, and completely tasty! The space was clean, music was not too loud, and plenty of seating. I'm excited to go back when they extend their seating to be outdoors as well. Also, the owner came over to our table multiple times to check on us, was so kind, and even shared a little about his story and how he ended up in Wheaton! We LOVE Indian food. We normally go to India palace in Wheaton but their hours don't always work out for us. We have found the next best, or even better thing!! We love QCURRY, so much!
