Stopped in after a trip to the record store a couple doors down. I grabbed one of their lunch specials which are a killer deal! Had the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken with rice & naan, and grabbed a vegetable samosa. Everything was fresh & delicious. Interior is bright and clean, and I love that it is much more laid back and casual than a lot of Indian restaurants in the area, makes it super welcoming for anyone intimidated or reluctant to try indian food for the first time. Tried this restaurant 1x and having eaten at over 100 Indian restaurants I would say Please don't waste your money. We ordered take out and it costs close to ($98). For Indian takeout that is Extremely high. We have never paid that much for Indian Take Out (even in Downtown Chicago). Very overrated restaurant and it was not that tasty as Indian food should be. Our order was for a biryani, chicken tikka, naan and rice. The portions were in tiny containers - so not even a full portion for an Adult or Child - we ended up Only taste testing the items. Very disappointed and would suggest other Indian restaurants for flavor and Price. I think the fact the fact that they are the only Indian restaurant in Wheaton they have Up-priced everything. If you have an inkling for Indian near by - you'll get better food in Naperville (15 min away) or Schaumburg (30 min away) and moderately priced. For Pakistani I would go to Villa Park or Carol Stream. read more

Just tried the new Indian place in town. It's a fast casual set up so wasn't sure what to expect. It was fantastic! I started w/ a samosa. The pastry crust was light and crisp. It was served w two incredible chutneys. The chicken tikka masala and butter chicken were both delicious. Spice level was appropriate- great flavor w/o being too overpowering. The naan was light and fluffy. What surprised me was the vegetables. The strong undertones of cumin really enhanced the zucchini, carrots and broccoli. Oh, and I can't forget the gulab jamun. My wife and I have been traveling to the Wheaton area for the past 3-4 weeks and about 3 weeks ago decided that we would look for Indian food. Picked Q-Curry because of Yelp reviews. When we first approached, we both thought it appeared a bit sterile from the outside. It is not sterile at all. The food is great and very well seasoned, the service is prompt, courteous and informative, the owner always comes out to see that we were well satisfied. He is very friendly and engaging. We have had Indian food in many places around Illinois and Iowa, this is the best food we have had. The lunch specials are really well prepared and the price is as inexpensive as fast food, only real freshly prepared Indian food. Wheaton area is quite lucky to have this place and I hope it is there for a long time. Our stint in the area will conclude soon and I can tell you we will make the hour and a half trip there just to eat. A real authentic and inviting place to eat authentic Indian food. This place is exactly what Wheaton needed... a quick service Indian restaurant! Got two of the 2 item lunch combos so my wife and I could try all the main items. Both the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were awesome. Great sauce and flavors! The saag paneer was a perfect balance of flavor and spice. Both combos came with rice and a naan. At $10.95 a great value! Tons of food. Also ordered the vegetable samosa, nice flavor with a crispy pastry. Get both sauces, the green sauce was very fresh and herbaceous. The butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and matter paneer are all very good! I like that you can customize the spiciness level, and the food is ready very quickly. I was honestly a little suspicious when I first went here and they said it would be done in like 20 minutes (Indian food usually takes at least 45 minutes), but I have been here several times now and the food has continued to be delicious. I will say, my favorite dish is usually navrattan korma, but for some reason they put large pieces of broccoli in it here, so I was not a fan. But all the other dishes I have had are rich, flavorful, and quite large servings! read more

My fiancé and I recently visited Qcurrys and we are still talking about it days later. Both the food and service were spectacular. The workers were very attentive and helped guide us in our food selection. We ended up getting the samosas, dal soup, garlic naan, butter chicken, and lamb masala. My personal favorite was the butter chicken but it's hard to choose when they were all so delicious. Did a take out on a Saturday evening. They were quite busy and most tables were occupied. Had to wait for 10 more mins. Ordered Garlic Nan, veg Daal makhani and Biryani. The Daal makhani was very good however the Biryani was quite a disappointment. It had no flavor - basically vegetables with Basmati rice. Did not taste like a biryani.
