How much food you get varies by employee, and I didn't get served by the same people on any visit. Once I got a generous heaping of everything I asked for, another time I got a paltry, barely scoop size, serving of everything. Adobo Chicken had several burnt parts. Plus $1 extra charge for tortilla on the side -- even Chipotle only charges $0.50 for a tortilla. Don't say it's because they don't charge guacamole -- we only got a teeny tiny ball of that. We ordered the nacho family meal because the other family meals such as burritos weren't an option as a take out!!?!! Let's just say for over $50 bucks it clearly wasn't worth it! 2 X 1/2 filled containers of steak and chicken, one guacamole, 2 cheese sauces, verde, tomatoes, jalapeños, and 2 1/2 filled bags of chips oh can't forget enough pinto beans to serve an entire starving family, but who would eat pinto beans on nachos anyway??! So, we have had good experiences here, but this isn't my first bad one. Quality of food is not consistent. Service is not consistent. We arrived tonight at 8:30pm (close is at 9), and while I understand the teams excitement to end the night, we were quickly packed up to go before I had even ended ordering, my partner's food was only half full compared to mine and when he complained and asked if he could have the normal amount we usually receive, all 3 staff on the line acknowledged but refused to answer (I overheard one quietly tell the other to tell the person who filled the bowl they need to do more), AND THEN, when we left drinkless (we would have dined in and also gotten drinks), the food was cold, the veggies weren't cooked, and the chips horribly stale or overcooked, without lime salt. And I have had that experience before actually, asking myself if they changed the chips to some kind of diet chips- the chips are my fav ya'll. I love qdoba. I do not love this location. Clean Qdoba chain location and meals have always been prepared as expected. I must admit I like how this store front is kind of off from most of the Fenton strip mall traffic. We had an issue with our order, the employee told us we could not talk to the manager, said there was nothing he could do, and hung up on us. He was extremely rude when I went in, but hid in the back as soon as the manager came out to talk to me. We haven't eaten at QDOBA in about 2 years. It used to be one of our favorite restaurants. What the hell happened to this place? Where do I start? They cut the Quesadilla into long thin rectangles that couldn't be eaten by hand. Minor annoyance but things quickly got worse. Next, I found a bug in the small cup of sour cream. When my wife showed the bug to the employee behind the counter she just laughed. By the way, the sour cream was like water. If I didn't know better I'd say they're adding water to it. Then, I ordered 1 extra guacamole and they gave me a tiny cup with about a teaspoon of brown guacamole. They charged me 2 dollars for the "aged" guacamole! I haven't been to too many Qdoba locations, but I DO love this location. It is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. The manager we have met and talked to a few times is really a pleasant person and gave us some great tips on their products for people like me, trying to eat low cal but tasty food! The location is perfect! Its close, in Fenton but when you are sitting outside on their patio, it feels like you are out of the city, you see Hwy 141, but you also see trees, and hear birds... We use to eat here quite often but haven't been in a few years due to moving out of the area! They removed most of the tables in this location. Why, I have no idea, but the real problem is the food and the staff! The quesadilla my husband always ordered was cut in strips instead of triangles. I asked for extra guacamole and the manager said, "you can only have one more". I asked why and he replied, "another will cost extra". I didn't care since my husband likes guacamole. It was $2.00 for maybe a 1/2 a tablespoon. Plus, one of the 3 tiny cups of guacamole was brown....ew!! Then, when my husband opened the tiny cup of sour cream, there was a bug in it. I took it back and asked for a new one because this one has a bug in it....the girl behind the counter LAUGHED!!!! She laughed!! No one apologized or anything, she just handed me a new tiny cup of sour cream.... Needless to say, we will never be back!!!! read more

I'm so disappointed, someone said this was the Midwest version of Chipotle...ummm, clearly they had never been to Chipotle. The only similarity is that you can pick what you want in your bowl/salad/taco. I got a build your own salad with black beans, chicken ( diced so small, and the quantity so little it could have fit in a 2oz dressing cup)I added the corn salsa, Pico, sour cream, fajita veggies (tasted weird and like metal) and then was told "we don't have guacamole right now". At least Chipotle posts this on their door so I don't even waste my time building something that I really just wanted as a vessell for a mountain of guac... I was told "the avocados came in this morning, but, we haven't had time to prep them." Ugh The highlight of this flavorless trip was the coke machine that has a million flavors. My sister got disapointing tacos and my son had a chicken bowl and threw half of it away. Person in front of us returned their food because they found hair in it. The manager (I think) was a super slovenly looking guy with unkept hair (blue) and nose rings. His shirt was filthy. He was mad about the returned food and never apologized. I watched him pretend to was his hands without ever turning the water on. He did put gloves on but we decided to leave. Was not impressed at all. I only gave it one star because the restaurant was actually clean. Employees were lazy and didn't really seem to care. But this location is probably the worst qdoba I've been too the food is good, but the customer service is TERRIBLE. when me and my boyfriend walked in these 2 male employees were staring and whispering. when we were ordering they seemed annoyed and then the vibe was that they were rushing us out of the store. when we went to pay, the lady that was checking us out was completely rude and seemed like we were a bother and she didn't want to do her job. She literally rolled her eyes because my boyfriend was taking a long time to order which caused us to not pay right away. We decided to just take it to go because it was just uncomfortable. and then we got a doordash order for this location about 20 minutes later and we went there and they were not doing the to go's for some odd reason. we had to leave and come back. also the manager wasn't helping them, they were having the lunch rush and the manager was just walking around the store. I've been coming to this location for years, and I have become increasingly more disappointed with the service. My mom and I both ordered bowls and barely the bottom of the bowl was filled with rice. When paying $10 for a meal, you'd expect better proportions. The staff was impatient and unhelpful. I asked for more rice because I don't get beans, and the employee gave me an annoyed look and gave me less than half a scoop more and refused to give anything else. Portion size keeps going down and prices keep going up. I'd rather drive to a further location that I've seen better service from than coming to this location even though it is convenient. I had gone out to get food for my friend, parents and I and my friend had a bowl and it wasn't full all the way, I hadn't even left the store yet noticed it and asked if they could maybe throw some more beans and rice on it I was told no and they couldn't take food back both girls were very rude, and had an attitude. Came in around 9:30, so just about 30 minutes before close. My girlfriend and I came in to grab a late after work dinner to find out that the employees were in a rush to get out. We were greeted with nothing, but two angered employees. They had emptied out a good amount of food pans and gave me half the cheese and meat I have always received. My girlfriends burrito bowl was similar. When I came time to pay, the cashier gave no option to stay and eat or take it to go and put it all straight into a bag after giving me a weird look thinking I wouldn't notice.
