Get food from qdoba all the time. Sometimes I have problems but never something inedible. I usually even drive to this specific further location because the one close to my house isn't great. Working in food service I know how hard it is to have a "b" food grade which is low. And which both places have. I went today, and they practically threw my quesadilla into the container. Both my quesadilla and my burrito were rushed and thrown together when I was the only customer in the store. The beans for the burrito weren't strained and thrown on top with a bunch of liquid which I made it all soggy and my quesadilla is an inedible mess. It doesn't even at least taste good. Usually I wouldn't care but this is ridiculous, spending 25 dollars on a quesadilla and burrito for slop that I have to waste. And it's free burrito day :( I was trying to sign up but I had not even 1 minute before I was being asked to pay. You would think it was someone new as well but it wasn't, it was someone who's been there for a while and clearly just didn't care. This place has been slowly declining for the past 3 or so years. The portions are getting smaller and smaller and the presentation is declining. The reason why I m writing this review is because I was in line and the two customers in front of me complained to the guy making the food about his lack of skills. Then I saw what he did to my burrito and I had to say something. If you ever go to this place and you see the Spanish kid with a word tattoo on his right forearm just turn away and walk away. The guy clearly doesn't want to work there and he shows it in the way he makes the food. The other guy who is a bigger version of him and wears a black shirt is just an apologist for him. If he is his manager he should get rid of him or send him to some training. It's not that the guy doesn't know how to make a burrito, it's that just doesn't give a F&&ck. The food looks stale. The brown rice was all clumped up and the white rice was burned towards the bottom. They never have romaine lettuce and the guacamole was turning brown on the edges of the container. It was only 12:30 pm. Also the floor all around the restaurant looks like it has not been sept in a week. There is no way the floor got that dirty in the two hrs they've been open. Over all horrible. I just sold all the stocks I had in Qdoba. This place is a dumpster fire. The employees all look like miserable teens who should be in school. There was absolutely no meat options left and when I asked the server if they had anymore beef brisket she said well no... pointing to the two strands of beef that were left in the hotel pans. It is consistently fresh, flavorful, and never under- or over-cooked. The menu is updated regularly, which makes every visit a little more exciting. The restaurant itself is consistently kept clean, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. My most recent purchase from this Qdoba was an online delivery order. When the order arrived, half of it was missing. We got in touch with the restaurant and they corrected the problem immediately, all the while acting courteously and professionally. I can't say enough how great it is when a restaurant works with you to correct a problem. Makes me feel good about coming back here the next time I have a hanckering for Tex-Mex. Such a great addition to the Woodrow Plaza. The restaurant itself has a city vibe with hightop tables and outdoor seating as well! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Parking can be tricky with only a few spots to share with the other stores in the plaza. Regarding the food- I like the option of the three tacos because you can choose a different protein in each one and you're not limited to one. They now have a new addition to there menu and that's shrimp! My boyfriend always gets the burritos which are flavorful and fresh. I enjoy the bowls and salads with the cilantro lime dressing. This restaurant functions by an assembly line which adds the meat, beans and so on working the way down to the dressings. They also have beers and margaritas which differ them from other places. I find that if I eat at corporate / franchise restaurants with very low expectations, I can sometimes be pleasantly surprised. In this case, I was just that: pleasantly surprised. The ingredients tasted fresh and the meals were flavorful. I was content and my kids were happy. The kid's meal serves its purpose with one taco, a drink, and chips. Perfect for the kiddos. I tried a few different tacos but the vegetarian one was the standout for me. Give it a try. Staff is also pleasant and helpful. It's hard not to eat here and wish it was a Chipotle instead but it's good to know we're finally getting some variety in Woodrow Plaza. We have enough pizzerias and Chinese food restaurants. I have to force myself to eat as much as I can since there are starving people out there and i do not like to waste food and money. It took me 30 minutes to get my food after i ordered online. Upon asking, they said my order was being made, but it was not. People that arrived after me got their order way before me. I continued to ask them after 10 more minutes passed, and they still told me it was being made, when it clearly was not, considering the people that had just arrived had already paid and gotten their food. They consistently told me it would be five more minutes until my food was ready. As it turns out, my food was already ready. I had given the cashier my name multiple times, and even spelled it out for him each time, and it had been at the front counter the entire time. I had even asked him if that was my order to which he replied no. Upon receiving my order, i saw that my name was on the receipt on top of the food the whole time. The food is subpar. My food is soggy and my taco shell has become limp. I ordered chips and queso, and they gave me enough chips for about 1/4 of the queso cup.
