I've passed by this coffee shop so many times, and we finally stopped in on a Sunday morning. When we stopped there was a run club out in their driveway area (they were blocking the way onto their parking lot) and we ended up getting a parking spot on the street. It's good to know that they do have a small parking lot though. It's a small cafe with a few bar seats along the window as well as a cute little outdoor patio in the back. The team members were very nice and I made small talk with the person taking my order, and ended up ordering their favorite- an iced honey latte. The coffee didn't take too long, even though there were a few orders ahead of mine, and it was delicious. I'd definitely stop by again in the future.

I've been coming to The Mill for years and their quality has always been consistent. They're known for their coffee and waffle in hand. On Sunday, I arrived at 7:30 and there was a couple of people enjoying their coffee. I was greeted by a kind barista and I decided to order the cappuccino and a croissant. My croissant was handed to me on plate and my drink took about 5 minutes. That first sip feeling was amazing. I'm still dreaming of the cappuccino that I had. The croissant was good. Nothing special, but still satisfied my craving. I would recommend coming here to get coffee and a waffle in hand, sit outside at the table and people watch. There's a lot of bikers and hikers as this is near a trail by Sacramento State.

I stopped by here on a whim and tried the roasted iced matcha latte. It was enjoyable! I also tried the chocolate croissant and was pleasantly surprised how delicious and flaky it was. It was topped with sea salt, it was so good! Cashier was pleasant and welcoming. The shop was nice, clean but small. I would love to come back and try their other drinks.

Adore this place! Love that it's so close to Sac State and has great hours! The ham and cheese croissant was delish and HUGE. Buttery and flaky The vanilla bean latte was amazing too! A great way to start one's morning or get an afternoon pick me up!

Cute spot with efficient, friendly, service and a great quality cappuccino. They had an impressive array of tea for sale that all looked good too.

They make the most out of a fairly small shop. I was pleasantly surprised by their large selection of tea both to drink and buy. This place is popular for Sac State students since it's so close to campus. We ordered a matcha and decaf latte

Came with my best friend for a coffee date for her bday. Super cute inside and the outside area is nice and covered. Parking is a bit difficult as there aren't a ton of spaces and backing out can be difficult, but there is also some street parking. We had the iced chai and iced matcha. Both delicious, would recommend the wildflower syrup added to the matcha as it is unsweetened. The chai was spicy too. We also had the chocolate chip mochi waffle which was delicious! For me, the cookie was just ok. It is nice and thick but the flavor just isn't there for me and the texture is interesting. Will def be back to try more things!

If you're looking for a quiet, low-key spot to study or get some work done, this place is a hidden gem. The vibe is super chill, with relaxing study music playing in the background and plenty of seating both indoors and outside. It's the kind of place you can actually focus in--no loud crowds, just a peaceful atmosphere. I tried their matcha with honey, and it was delicious! The matcha had a smooth, rich flavor, but I'd probably ask for light honey next time--it was a little too sweet for my taste. I also ordered a latte, which was solid and well-made. One small downside: the extra shot was a bit pricey (inflation, maybe?), but not a dealbreaker. Shoutout to the one staff member working when I visited--she was amazing. Super patient, answered all of our questions, kept the place running smoothly, and was even bussing tables in between helping customers. Seriously appreciated her hustle and kindness. Parking-wise, there's street parking available, but just a heads up: the ACE Hardware next door doesn't allow coffee shop parking unless you're shopping there. Overall, this is a cozy, no-frills coffee spot that nails the essentials--good drinks, great service, and a calm atmosphere for working or studying.

A wonderful lady treated me to a 12oz iced matcha :333 Here is the menu as of today 02/04/26

The quality is actually amazing. Fast service. Small inside area with lots of seating. I love how clear the matcha tea tastes. Also had their chocolate chip sea salt cookie. TD4

Cute little hole in the wall coffee shop near Sac State. I've tried a few beverages and the matcha is my usual go to. If you're looking for a sweet drink the iced caramel latte might hit the spot. The iced chai and vanilla bean latte have been a hit or miss for me. The shop itself is very clean and nicely put together. Seating inside is limited but they have outside seating as well. The employees here are nice and service is pretty quick!

This is easily the best coffee I've ever had. The vibe is amazing. I went the first day with my girlfriend and got the iced caramel latte. It blew my mind. I've had a lot of coffee in my life but nothing has ever hit like this. I came back the next morning just to get the SAME DAMN THING. I even tried my girls matcha, and I don't even drink matcha. I actually hate it. But somehow they made me like it.... If you gave this place one star you're seriously tripping...Go kick rocks! This spot is absolutely worth the wait. One hour, two hours, I'd wait all day for this coffee. It's that damn good!

THE SETUP I was only a "Daily Brew" sort of guy when I started coming here 7 months ago, but then a couple of months ago I was turned onto their Ca Phe Su Da - four (4) Espresso shots served over ice! I was sold! Most of the time, I get it "as is". Sometimes I throw in a bag of Splenda. Sometimes I add a spoonful of heavy cream. Sometimes I add in both: depends on my mood. But now I have a new favorite "go-to" coffee beverage, and it's deLISH and it hits the spot! THE LOWDOWN Chloe has an amazing menu of coffee offerings that you need to check out! Their menu isnt overwhelming and only has a few selections, theres good pastries to try out as well. Coffee was alright and the pastries were ok, overall I guess I was just more distracted by the business's set pieces. In any case, check the place out, parking can be a pain if it gets busy, typical downtown sac. Issues.

I think I came in with really high expectations because of all the reviews, so part of that might be on me. I originally thought it was a standalone coffee shop, but it's actually connected to Brickland Bistro. I went during a semi-morning/afternoon rush, so it was a bit busy, and the entrance to the café area did feel a little crowded. After ordering, there was a bit of a wait for our drinks since there were groups ahead of us. They didn't take names or give out order numbers, which made the process feel a little unorganized. I noticed some people who ordered after me ended up getting their drinks first. I tried their matcha latte with added vanilla. Personally, I found the milk overpowered the matcha, so it wasn't as strong as I usually prefer. My friend tried the coffee and she thought it was decent but nothing standout. On the positive side, the ambience is great if you enjoy darker, cozy spaces for studying or hanging out, and the staff was very kind and attentive.
