Cute little place in Helen! The food is delicious and super filling. I got the pork bowl, it has rice beans pico and plantains. The best Latin food in Helen. The kids loved the Quesadillas with a side of black beans and rice. They also love the Jarritos soda which comes in different flavors. Definitely recommend! After walking through Helen, GA for the first time for the holidays, all the restaurants were packed. Our party of 6 was told there would be hours of wait times everywhere we went. Luckily we stumbled upon Q'Paso which is right behind Bodensee. Their food didn't disappoint with nice workers and fresh food. We got in towards the end of the day and they had run out of their empanadas but definitely try it out if you can! They make the dough everyday and only make a certain amount of dough. I got the Latin bowl and had plenty of leftovers to eat later. My boyfriend got the Pan con Lechone which is the more authentic version of the Cuban sandwhich. The churros were yummy too. Definitely wanna try the rest of the desserts next time. Ate here today as a party of 3 including a hungry toddler (if you know you know). What stood out the most was the hospitality. I asked if they sold tostada - they said they didn't, but the person I presume to be the owner offered to make me some and I took him up on it. The other items we ordered (chicken arepa, chicken quesadilla, chicken croquetas) were all good) but I think my off menu tostado and the arepa were my favorites. Came here today for the very first time after some recommendations. Overall the outside sitting was nice and they were in the middle of a remodel on the inside that will probably look great once done. The counter person was quite friendly and helped us select our food and the service was pretty quick. 5-10 min wait. Once we got the food the burrito was huge and my co worker really enjoyed it. He did say if you are not a fan of rice he wouldn't suggest it as it's a lot of rice,beans, and meat. I had the Cuban sandwich and everything was going for this thing. It was hot and flavorful and the pulled pork was dripping in seasoning. It was very very good and would recommend to others. The only short fall I felt was for nearly 20$ a plate without a side or drink included seemed steep for the market and neighborhood. I feel either throw in a smaller side to go with this or lower the average price 1-2$ depending on the items. Will definitely be back to try some other dishes. read more

This place is where you want to be. When we approached, it looked like it was still being renovated and I literally thought to myself "this place looks sketchy, I bet the food is going to be great." And I was right. The guy's running the joint were super chill, welcoming and we're proud of their food. The big guy taking the orders had a great accent and was very helpful talking us through the menu, while we were decided the cook (and genius behind the flavor) brought me a little sampler of the three meats. All were delicious, I went with the pork but the chicken had some unbelievable flavor too. My girls and I all ordered the burritos, which the big guy warned us, are for big appetites. That dude was not kidding. The burritos were freaking huge! I can eat a lot and I couldn't finish it. The food is phenomenal! I'm so glad we stopped to eat at this hidden gem! We had 8 people to feed (including kids and a vegetarian) and this place had something for everyone. We ordered some arepas, pan con lechón, and Latin bowls. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious and everyone lefts satisfied. My kids asked if we can go back before our trip ends.
