If I could leave -100 I would Friday 12Dec a few days ago I ordered Egg Drop Soup for my husband. I ordered Beef Pepper Steak for me. I should have know better because There was no flavor and the meat was overly tender. This was all I ate in the middle of the nite I was awaken by a bad stomachache I had both diarrhea and was throwing up at the same time I forgot to add i had Fried Chicken was horrible I have eaten at QQ several times here in Missouri City TX and I have never been through anything like th8s before. Food comes out super hot so that it's still hot when you take it home to eat. Recommend waiting a few minutes before eating if dining in. This wasn't good at all. We ordered Mongolian beef, orange chicken, beef w/ broccoli, steamed rice, fried rice, lo mein and egg rolls. The egg rolls and lo mein were the only items that tasted good. The orange chicken was decent-ish. Both beef meals were horrible. Flavorless, undercooked, chewy beef- not a good look. The fried rice has no eggs and no vegetables, I've never had it that way before and I see why no other Chinese restaurants make it this way, it sucks. The lady at the front was very nice btw but I can't let that overshadow bad food. Overall, a decent amount of food for $60. But if you throw at least half of it away then it's not worth it at all. This is a pretty legit little local Chinese take-out spot. We happened to stumble upon this place because it was late at night and we needed to grab a quick bite to eat. I'm very glad that we came in here. We ordered the mei fun noodles with chicken and added beef to it. We also got some egg drop soup and chicken wings (just because I felt like it). This little place truly reminded me of some of the Chinese joints that we used to go to in New York City. Those are some great memories and this place took me right back there. $30 for the three dishes we had. Taste was overall good but not amazing...Thai chicken curry did not have a curry taste more like a Mexican guisado taste but was good. Pan Fried Dumplings:: Nicely pan fried, flavors are good, the dipping sauce is really different. Its sweet the compliment the savoriness of the dumplings. Would recommend. Shrimp Lo-Mein:: Bland. Very bland. No flavor development at all. It was acceptable after I poured the remaining dumpling sauce over the noodles. Made it a bit better. Under-salting is not necessarily a bad thing, but having no flavor to it is another. Maybe its because we ordered it to go that some flavors were skipped on? So I came in on a Sunday place was empty but I see them very busy with to go orders. I figure it's Sunday and people are home relaxing watching the game. So I ordered the Schezuan chicken with steam rice. On the menu it had a spicy indicator but it was not. I think the flavor was good just added some sriracha to make it spicy enough for me. Found this local cafe near my new home so I called ordered they told me 15 minutes, I went in and my order was already waiting for me! It was hot to taste meaning freshly made. Before I actually tried this place I had read mixed reviews and finally just decided to check it out. I call in for take out and the lady that took my order was very short with me and had a bit of an attitude. She wasn't very helpful in my opinion for a first time customer. I'm not one to let others people moods get to me so I proceeded to order the lunch portion orange chicken, which comes with rice, a spring roll and a soup. I substituted my soup for another spring roll. The food was hot and prepared well, and the price was fair. The orange chicken really didn't have that orange flavor but it was sweet with a hint of spice. The actual pieces of chicken were a little disappointing. They were small pieces that were mostly fried batter. The rice was ok. The spring roll and the 2 pieces of broccoli were really good. I only ate about half of my food before I was done. From my experience I feel that this place may have some consistency problems. It maybe awhile before I try them again. Plus the customer service was really poor. From earlier reviews I'm not the first to experience "the lady's" attitude. Might want to fix that. On another note my girlfriend had ordered their fried rice and I've tried a little of it.
