I like their croissants and scones; they make the best scones. Also, they make tasty sourdough bread, which is my favorite.

Please do yourself a favor and stop by to pickup pastries if you're driving by Healdsburg or you're in the area!! I LOVED their croissant and biscuits!! Make sure to try to go early because they sell out on most of the items by the time noon rolls around. I can't go to Healdsburg and not stop in for a pastry. Today I tried the Morning Bun which is filled with a cream inside. I've had them before but today it had a hint of lavender. A line forms before the door opens at Q&C, the new trendy spot for coffee and pastries south of Downtown Healdsburg. The space is small and cute inside, sparsely decorated without indoor seating (there are bar seats on the sidewalk and a few tree shaded picnic tables on the far side of the parking lot). The pastry selection is deep and diverse, featuring lots of exotic-sounding ingredients. A few breads are also on offer, though breakfast items are clearly the focus. Service is prompt and friendly. On the other hand, the space is a bit cramped, leading to awkward customer traffic. The coffee products are okay but not great. The baking tends to bend toward brown - almost every item could be called " overdone" if it wasn't so clearly the preference of the bakery. I've had five items on two visits, and all were good but not superb. Oddly, "canelé" was misspelled on their board. Opens late for a breakfast cafe - 8am. read more

Rosemary morning bun (5/5): morning bun with rosemary and ginger flavored cream on top. I was worried it might be overly sweet like others in most French bakery places, but it is actually light in sugar and fluffy in texture. This place is amazing! We were going to go to our FAV bakery , but found out it was closed on Tuesdays. So, I looked online and saw this place, & decided to try it. Wow, I'm so glad I did. I went to their site online, & it was so easy to put our order in. And it was ready by the time we got there. Here's what we got: an almond croissant , a morning bun which had cream Inside, Kouign Amann, chocolate chip cookie, and 2 Baguette's. Everything was delicious! Crispy, flakey, fresh, buttery pastries. The cream inside the morning bun was so delicious. The chocolate chip cookie was huge, & the best I ever had. We made sandwich's with the baguettes later that day. I think the almond croissant was my FAV, but everything was excellent. My hubby loved the Kouign Amann the best. Incredible. The pastries were unique, delicious and fresh. Located in a "cute and cozy" spot with plenty of parking. Quail and Condor knocked it out of the park. Stopped by on my way out of town after noticing there was not much of a line that early in the morning and what a fantastic opportunity it was! I have been telling people that this place is the best bakery in Sonoma county already. Today it was over the top, prompting me to spend the time to write this review. Today I had a chocolate croissant with a raspberry rose topping. It was unbelievably good, even if it sounds a little weird. So good I took picture! The croissants are excellent, crispy and flaky. The sourdough bread is chewy with a crispy crust and utterly perfect. And the counter staff is friendly too. This little gem is set in an unassuming location just at the entrance to Healdsburg. It's not a sit and chat place but more a grab and go. The bakery products are extraordinary. Perfect really. I am always in search of the real French Croissant. The last one I found was at Chloe's in Santa Rosa, which unfortunately closed after the fires. Enter perfect croissant, Healdsburg. They are perfect because the plain version is not sweet, and an a honeycomb of pure butter and flour when cut open. Light, airy and most of all crisp as an autumn evening on the outside. Other items on display look equally perfect and judging from the line I waited in, the word is out. Pastry chef worked at Single Thread so that's resume stunner if there ever was one! You can't leave Downtown Healdsburg without a stop at Quail and Condor on your way in our out. We have been coming up to this area for quite some time but never heard of the bakery until it was recommended to us by a friend. We had some time to kill before a tasting and stopped in. I am SO glad we did. By the time we got to the front of the line some of the items we had our eyes on had already sold out. This means we have to come back and that you have to get in line early! Our order included a spiced chocolate croissant, a ham and cheese croissant, and an onion scone. While all 3 were incredible, the scone absolutely took the cake. It was incredible! After seeing Quail & Condor recommend in Sonoma Magazine we made a special stop. Small, busy shop at the end of Main Street in Healdsburg. Staff were busy and I got the sense someone had been disciplined that morning. I wanted the Pistachio croissant, but not available that day so I chose the only chocolate croissant which also had Tahini. I can only say it was a strange combination. The croissant was flaky with good chocolate, but Tahini was too strange after the first bite so I scraped it out. We also got a piece of carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Not sweet at all. The Danish Rye bread was good as toast with lots of large seeds; not a typical rye if that's what you're aiming for. Everything was slightly "off the beaten track," so to speak. Wonderful but absolutely deadly for dieters. I came in wanting to buy a cookie to go with my Black Oak coffee. $17 dollars later, I walked out with a box of assorted pastries. So far I have tried the almond croissant and it was absolutely delicious - so much so that I ended wearing most of it as I drove back home to Santa Rosa. A true gem. Everything is really perfectly baked. The onion and cheese "biscuit" somehow had a delicate light crunch on the edge of a rich moist biscuit/scone. The pesto sandwich late morning on the weekend is omg as good as the bread it is made on and that is really saying something. And bagels on Fridays were just perfect. read more

I have passed by a couple times and have seen a huge line outdoors, and wondered what was going on. You actually can't tell by the looks of this place, but it's a Coffee Shop with pastries. Decided to give it a go today. Had no idea what to order as all the pastries looked amazing. Seriously wanted one of everything. Asked if they made sandwiches and she said I was just in time as they start selling the pre-made pesto, ham and brie sandwiches at 11:00 AM. Of course I had to get one and just took my first bite and YUM! Not sure what the homemade sliced bread is, but this sandwich has so many flavors! Definitely will get it again. Got a decaf coffee too, an Americano. Delicious, smooth and super hot. I'm a coffee connoisseur, and can promise you, this is one of the better cups I've had. They have at least 7 home baked breads on display that can be sliced. I brought home an apricot walnut loaf, that I will be having for breakfast tomorrow. The cookies are HUGE. Got a chocolate chip to try and told myself only a few bites, but that didn't happen. Both ladies running the cafe are very sweet and friendly with smiles on their faces and following the Covid protocol. On a side note: If you are able to park down the street and walk, it might be better for you (if it's raining or wet), otherwise, bring a towel or wipes for your shoes as they will get muddy from the parking lot.
