I came here for a Cleveland Monsters Hockey watch party event. I was so excited to come and enjoy my experience. But that was not what I experienced. I experienced a shortage of staff at this event. I was seated fairly quick. I waited 15 minutes which is not bad at all. But..... I waited an hour for a waitress and she or he never showed up. Even after asking someone about it. I eventually went to the bar and ordered my food from her. I felt bad for her because everyone was doing the same thing. She was beyond busy. I would say management did the best they could. I should have just walked out but i was with others and could not really say anything. The food was also very sub par... I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp... it was swimming in grease, gross! I walked in and about 5 minutes passed when a nice lady walked up to me and took me to a table and told me the specials for the day. There was one gentleman serving by himself, so I understood if it was going to take a while. 10 minutes passed and I wasn't asked about a drink order. They passed by me and said they would be right with me. Another 10 minutes passed and they brought out food for the people waiting. I waited patiently to give my drink order, but no luck. Finally, another 10 minutes passed and another guest walked in and sat at the bar. The waiter went to him and asked what he wanted, served him his drink, and by that time I figured they just didn't want to serve me. So I got up and walked out. No one tried to apologize or stop me. I got an uber eats here like less than 6 months ago buy one get one free boneless wings I got the Asian flavor I think it was Thai r cracker. Really hit the spot. 2 days of food. Was hot when it got to the house I remember it was snowing hard that day. Just as good as bone in wings! Maybe I needed protein really bad that day but it was white meat chicken and it was not dry. Was very disappointed in our meals. My husband, my adult son and myself decided to eat at this restaurant before a movie. My husband and I ordered the boneless chicken salad. It was pathetic. I think they took two tenders and chopped them up and put half on his salad (lettuce) and the other half on mine. That is all the salad had. Some actual decent happy hour specials in 2025! Service was good and food was too. Just your average pub grub, but they weren't stingy with the wing sauce. You can't go wrong for a casual happy hour here at Quaker steak and lube. Their drinks are super affordable and absolutely delicious. I've had quite a few good margaritas here as well. The affordability and the strength of the drinks makes it a great place to go right before the movies or even after lol. Our server even informed us that on some nights they have dancing, which is super great for the community and I love that they open that space up for the elderly. read more

My first time eating here was last week. We were going to a movie and decided to grab dinner here afterwards. We were seated right away, server was great, very attentive, friendly and helpful. There were three people in our party, all of our food was delicious, fish, chicken sandwich and cheese curd burger. My fish was really good, crispy and fresh! Good coleslaw and tartar sauce like McDonald's. Sometimes it tastes like horseradish (which I hate) so I was glad it didn't have that flavor. I have long been a fan of Quaker steak and lube. I've been coming here for as many years as I have lived in Ohio. Once upon a time Tuesday night was wing night which was done Buffay style. Obviously Covid put an end to that. Now wing night is done in orders of five for five dollars which is comparable to the Bogo 50% over at Buffalo wild wings where you get buy one get one 50% off where there's are six wings for something like eight or nine dollars. The wings are large and very tasty. The other food, burgers, chicken tenders, steak, steak sandwiches etc. are also very tasty and flavorful. The service is fast and friendly and they keep your drinks coming as needed. My only complaint, has nothing to do with the service, it was just the variety of sauce levels. There are a great many levels and I do not think they are as narrow in the Scoville level as they appear. They show them as going from 100 to about 5000 before jumping up to 500,000. The heart seemed pretty hot although nothing compared to the hottest over at Buffalo wild wings. There's just such a massive job between there hot and the heat it challenge that there's nothing to build your tolerance. I wish they had a greater variety of heat. Other than that though I still believe that their wings are very good, tender, and filling. I will always enjoy this place overall, this location and all locations. read more

This place is so sub par. The server was nice but pretty nervous the whole time. The food was awful though. We got a salad that was 50% rotten lettuce with most of the rotten part buried under the hood stuff. Thank God we looked first and didn't just take a bite or their would have been puke. I was very excited to eat at Quaker Steak tonight. I was shocked to see it wasn't really busy, but now we understand why. Seated in the dining room with 3, yes only 3 other tables...but we sat there for 27 minutes waiting for a server to even greet us. Never happened. I get being short staffed, but more staff was walking around then you had customers in the resteraunt. Training would help. When I worked in resteraunts the standing rule was once a customer was seated a server should greet them within 3 minutes. Again, 27 minutes later not even a drink order We went to the lizard. Haven't even gotten my drink yet I'm sitting here feeling the need to write a negative review. To start with, I always ensure to write a review regardless of being negative or positive. As we are walking in, there is a couple in a booth having a full fledged argument where the female was hitting the male. I understand this is out of the control of the restaurant, but if they had higher standards, I believe this would not occur here. Upon walking in, we are greeted and seated right away. The menus are sticky and have obvious filthy on them, including the drink menu already at the table. As I am sitting in my booth, I notice the filth on the walls. The ledges are coated in dust, there are wrapped on the lips, and don't even get me started in the walls underneath the tables. The waitress is kind but I have yet to get my drink that was ordered ten minutes ago, yet my s/o received his. I will be sure to edit my review upon completion of my meal. Edit: My drink came.... There is a fly in it. We left. Edit: By the end of the night, management has emailed my directly to apologize. This place absolutely made my night! Traveling with a couple of co-workers and one of them had been here before and recommended it. We were not disappointed. I kind of reminded of what Hooters might be without the girls in the clown outfits and with better food. The same level of testosterone is present but this time its aimed at cars, bikes, and sports. Each of the employees we had contact with were genuine and made our visit very enjoyable. The food around the table all received a thumbs up. It's very good food, not great but you're also not paying for great food. The menu is huge, steak, pizza, wings, salads; they have you covered! The desserts looked fantastic also. I had the cheesesteak and the flavor was excellent! And they get extra points for having Mac & Cheese as a side. We also ordered a basket of bone-in wings to get the evening started and they were first-rate! Much better than Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings. The décor package inside is really cool if you're into cars and bikes, lots of great photos and cars on lifts-you can actually eat under one of the cars that is lifted over a table. They wrap up the meal by dropping off a handful of individually wrapped twizzlers licorice; such a great idea-I've never seen that before but it'll stick in my mind long after a great evening. Took an hour to receive my order at all and then when it got here I was given a dry chicken, garlic bread, mac-and-cheese with a filmy layer on the top, fries, and the bourbon sauce. I asked for a correction to the order and it took 15 minutes to simply get an answer and 15 more to receive the food. When it got here I received a very small well done steak, garlic bread, broccoli, and a couple shrimp. No boom boom sauce. I have been to this Quaker Steak & Lube on multiple occasions and the food is normally pretty good. The one thing that really bothers me is the wait time to be seated. I have been here on a weekend night before and in that aspect, I totally understand why it would be a longer wait for a table around an hour. But on a Tuesday night, my friends and I have stood in line for 10 minutes minimum before the hostess was even in sight. We eventually went to the bar to order our food and drinks, as that service was much quicker. For such a huge location, I don't quite understand why wait time seems to be a reoccurring issue. I just wasted $70.00 on the worst order I have ever picked up for take-out. Where to begin...First of all my order somehow was put to Yelp, then GrubHub. I thought I was ordering directly through QS&L but I wasn't. I received an email saying GrubHub received my order, $69.69. My account notified me of a charge for $83.30 so I called GrubHub to inquire, then ask how they knew my address for delivery and they said it was a pickup order. The screwups just keep coming. I never received an email telling me my order was ready. I did receive an email asking how my order was. Hahaha, the jokes on me. The order was messed up. Where to begin...Onion Rings overcooked, no cocktail sauce for the Shrimp Dinner, no coleslaw that was supposed to come with that dinner. The worst part is that QS&L doesn't see fit to use the proper carry out containers for fried foods. The Pickup Pickles and the Loaded Magna Fries were limp and almost wet with moisture. The Shrimp was absolutely soggy and unpleasant. Let us not forget to mention the fries that came with the Shrimp Dinner. Really gross actually, limp and gross.
