Second, I brought the car home to my mechanic a week later and just 1 outer tie rod needed to be done. The car had just been inspected a few months so we knew the other stuff was probably fine even before double-checking. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of a naive college kid. Don't recommend.

I purchased an off the shelf part because I can not remove one myself so that is not an option. He then told me that I need to understand I bought a part from a junkyard. I was under the influence I was buying from garys used auto parts and would assume they had at least bench tested it before putting it on the shelf. He became very rude the phone and ended our call. I paid $55.00 for the starter and it is junk. He will not take it back or trade me one that works. I am out all of my money.
