I don't usually do reviews. But I felt compelled after my most recent brunch visit to Quality Italian. Usually at most places, service for brunch is casual and nothing special, but QI has raised the bar. Michael, our server, was attentive to our large tables needs. He had great menu knowledge, answering our many questions while also making the table laugh throughout our brunch. Without overselling it, the food, was life changing. Literally. Life won't be the same. The bar is executing on another level. This is the best spot in cherry creek hands down. Whatever management is doing. It's working. We will be back, but not soon enough. What to order: For the Table - Housemade Ricotta Appetizer - Spicy Crab & Avocado Pasta - Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka Entrée - Chicken Parm Pizza for Two Dessert - Tiramisu Luci Quality Italian is an Italian Fare steakhouse with a striking, contemporary design & upmarket menu. Quality Italian has a lovely outdoor patio space and a sexy, high-end interior with low lighting, dark browns & mixed metals. We were seated at a booth in the main dining room. Our server Louis was was polite and polished in service and spoke intelligently about the wine list & menu. We started our meal with Quality Italian's house bread - some of the best bread in Denver. For the table we had the Housemade Ricotta. The Housemade Ricotta is made with Colorado Honey & Pine Nuts. The creamy ricotta cheese was whipped to perfection and had a milky-ness that went great with the sweet honey. The fluffy, granular texture of the ricotta was contrasted nicely with the crunch of the pine nuts and thickness of the honey. For our Appetizer we had the Spicy Crab & Avocado. The Spicy Crab & Avocado is made with marinated tomatoes & garlic croutons. The sweet lump crab paired with creamy avocado and the acidity of the marinated tomatoes made for a really refreshing appetizer. This appetizer was on the lighter side which we loved so we still had plenty of room for our heavier entrees. For Housemade Pasta, we had the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka. The Rigatoni is made with Calabrian chilies, crispy garlic and is prepared tableside. This pasta was a powerhouse. The Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka hit all the notes we wanted - creamy, spicy, rich, and saucy. The Calabrian chilies gave the pasta a unique heat that was complimented by the sweet, acidic pepper of the Alla Vodka sauce. The sweet, tender lobster meat and creamy sauce clung to the al dente rigatoni making for hot, meaty bites. A must order - so freaking good. For the Chicken Parm Pizza for Two we had the Chicken Parm Pizza A La Vodka. The Chicken Parm Pizza A La Vodka is made with vodka sauce, stracchino and fresh herbs. The Chicken Parm Pizza can certainly be shared among 3-4 people; it's a very large entrée. The Chicken Parm Pizza is a must order when dining at Quality Italian (especially if you have never had it!). Yes, that it as Chicken Parm PIZZA. This was our first time having the 'A La Vodka' as opposed to the original Chicken Parm Pizza at Quality Italian and we actually liked the A La Vodka better (it had more sauce). The chicken was generously coated with a rich a la vodka sauce & stracchino cheese - both made for epic saucy bites and drool worthy cheese pulls. The chicken had a crisp exterior making for great texture variation against the smooth sauce and chewy cheese. For dessert we had the Tiramisu Luci. The Tiramisu Luci is made with Espresso-Soaked Almond Sponge & Mascarpone Cream. The Tiramisu Luci's presentation was show-stopping; the plastic cylinder was gently pulled off the dessert and the mascarpone cream sexily dripped down & coated the sponge cake. The Espresso-Soaked Almond Sponge cake was dense and we enjoyed the thick creaminess of the mascarpone cream. read more

Lovely restaurant. We made last minute reservations and sat near the bar until our table was ready. It can get crowded very easily and often you see people bumping into one another. You have to travel a little bit to get to the restrooms in the basement level. I think the restaurant is attached to a hotel. The spritz is so refreshing and light and everyone loved it instantly. The calamari and Caesar salad were great starters and very delicious. We all ordered the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka and thought it was amazing as well. Excellent dinner! We came here on a word of mouth recommendation. We started with calamari and Caesar salad; superb. The bread was chewy and delicious. We had a $55 bottle of Merlot. The pasta was AMAZING! It was a spicy rigatoni, lobster, vodka sauce to die for. Service was attentive and kind. We enjoyed pistachio gelato and two ports. We visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve so this review is a bit late but quite necessary. We were warmly greeted and advised of the wait time and were constantly updated, every member of staff that walked past us had a smile on their face and were polite to everyone in the packed restaurant. Wait time to be seated wasn't bad considering it was New Year's Eve, our server Mason was amazing from the get go and didn't seem intimidated by our large group. His knowledge of the menu was very impressive as everyone in our group had something different based solely on his recommendation and nobody was in the least bit disappointed. The bread was absolutely sumptuous, I had the pork chop and it was grilled to perfection, everyone else was absolutely delighted with their entrees, the cocktails I would like to say was the icing on the cake but that goes to the Cannoli... quite an experience to say the least. My least favorite thing would have to be being seated so close to the door on a cold night but that is definitely no fault of the restaurant given the day and seating availability, quite understandable. Will definitely be back and will request Mason again as he was an integral part of the entire experience. read more

This is a very good restaurant in cherry creek but unsurprisingly on the pricier side. Place has a great ambience and fast and friendly service. Interesting choice of music for an Italian restaurant but I loved it (90s-2000s indie rock). The bread they start you off with is soft and delicious, covered in parmesan cheese and served with high quality olive oil for dipping but would be even better if it was served warm. The chicken parmesan pizza was tasty but there's no pizza crust, it's a giant round chicken parmesan. It costs 70 dollars and says it feeds 2 but really could easily feed 3-4 as it comes with 8 slices and I was full after 2. I did appreciate the honey, dried olives and herb blends on the side to sprinkle on as desired. The basil on top was a nice touch as well. It also came with an arugula salad but there was not enough dressing in my opinion. For dessert we tried the famous tiramisu which is very "photogenic" and delicious but I do think i ultimately prefer a classic version of tiramisu. We've been big fans of QI for years now, so it was just perfect to bring family here for the first time for dinner in Cherry Creek. We started off with two of the U7 Shrimp (not pictured because they went so fast) and one of the Sausage & Peppers toast appetizers. All of our ordered entrées are pictured below, and every one of them was astounding! Our server was Eric (I think), and he was fantastic! The wine sommelier was Chris, and he impressed us with his knowledge of wine and recommendations for me. Lastly, the tiramisu dessert was shared, and it was so stinkin' delicious! I wanted to take my parents to a nice dinner for their anniversary. They wanted either Italian or steak for dinner, so this nicely fit the bill. I did a lot of research online as I wanted to make sure it was a good experience, and I'm not familiar with many Denver restaurants having just moved here. I came in with high expectations, and they were exceeded. FYI, if you use the Halcyon Hotel valet, they will validate it. We parked at the garage not knowing that. I made a reservation, and we still had to wait a few minutes, but the bar area is very comfortable. It was super busy on a Tuesday. I would recommend making a reservation, because you will likely be waiting a while if you don't. The only bad thing I can say is it is loud in there, so you have to speak up to have a conversation. We were brought to our table and had drink orders taken right away. My mom and I got the Halcyon Spritz, and it was amazing. We got the calamari for the table. It came out quickly and piping hot, and it was delicious. The complimentary garlic monkey bread was tasty as well. We went with two items QI is known for, the chicken parm pizza and the lasagna with filet meatballs. Both of those items are suggested for two. We probably would've been fine with just one! I had a couple bites of calamari and after one slice of the chicken parm, I was actually full. But I had to have the lasagna, so I stuffed myself with that. The food was really excellent. The pizza was not what I was expecting. I thought it would be crust with red sauce, chicken, and cheese, but the chicken IS the crust. The spicy honey and lightly dressed arugula to top it made it unique and extra flavorful. The lasagna was really great too. The presentation was beautiful as well. Even my dad who is never impressed with anything commented several times on how good the food was. The ambience is very nice, and our service was excellent. We were never left without water, and for how busy the place was, our food was delivered very quickly and we were well attended to the entire time. This was an awesome experience. While it was expensive (about $60 per person before tax and tip), it was WELL worth it. I will definitely return. read more

I wouldn't suggest getting it for one person, but definitely to share. It's like pillows of rich creamy deliciousness. Chicken Parmesan Pizza (classic): This is not your typical pizza. It is basically breaded chicken with cheese and sauce, BUT you also get toppings. Arugula, dried olives, some Italian seasonings and the best part, chili honey. SO GOOD! There were three of us and we could not finish it. So it's definitely more than the suggested 2 servings. Corn creme brûlée: this dish is interesting. At first I tasted corn but then it's also sweet. First time here for my Bday celebration. First of all, excellent service from our waiter Zac, who was very attentive from start to end! Thank you and Bravo . Second of all, the customer service from Diana Lizz or something like, was poor. Lack of flexibility and understanding. We called in to let the restaurant know that we were running late due to an accident on the freeway. When we arrived to the check-in booth, Diana was on the phone looking down. We stood in front of her and she didn't even looked up to at least knowledge us that she will be right with us until few minutes later. Because we were 10-15 minutes late (grace period is 15 minutes) she said that if we were not done eating by 7 pm she will have to move us to a different table. At that point , we dismissed anything she had to say due to her attitude and tone of voice. Apparently, she forgot we were the clients! Another point I would like to make is that hostess should be presentable at all times just as the waitress/waiters are. It was kind of disappointing to go to this "nice restaurant "and see the hostess with a simple green fuzzy sweater. Perhaps a nice shirt with a blazer would've looked better. 7 o'clock came and we saw Diana "talking" to Zak, and from her body language it was obvious she was very upset that we were still seated on the same table and waiting for dessert to be served. Zac, regardless of having a co- worker scolding him didn't moved us and continue providing excellent service. Overall: -B grade restaurant, might have fresh ingredients but limited menu. My main dish was meh- tasted okay. The side dish was too bitter and no so good. I am not sure what kind of vegetable was. My rose wine was good. Starter bread was delicious Mushrooms side dish ( I make them better - too salty) Salad meh. Dessert meh The ambiance was good on mid week. Not loud music during my stay. Not great value, expect to spend $$$$ Valet available. Most likely not coming back unless the menu and food is better. Seems like Covid has affected the quality and menu options. Note: when you go to Chanel, LV or any designer store you pay whatever for the product, knowing that you are getting a great customer service, presentable personnel and awesome packaging, right? Always great service and great food here. I'm partially giving four star based on not being seated for a party for 50 mins after our reservation. The restaurant has a smaller dining room and they did have another large birthday party at the same time so I realize this is partially out of their control. Everything on their menu is AMAZING. I had the Michelin rated lasagne and meatballs and it was spectacular! The wait staff are particularly on point here. I've been wanting to try their bottomless Bellinis for a while now. They had suspended their brunch service for a few weeks back in the summer when I planned to go, which was a little disappointing but I'm so glad it's back and it matched (even exceeded!) my expectations. They must have stopped the Bellini cart service at some point but it was still really fun. They gave us a few different concentrates - cucumber, traditional peach and pomegranate grapefruit. The pomegranate grapefruit was my favorite. Staff would come around to fill your glass with prosecco and you could choose your concentrate. Oh.... And you can switch to bloody Marys! And it's only $15 for bottomless! I got the polenta pancakes with blueberry compote and lemon curd. The pancakes are SO CUTE!!! They are thicker and stacked in a beautiful presentation. The lemon and blueberry fit so nicely together that I didn't even need syrup. We also decided to get a side of bacon and fingerling potatoes. Bacon was standard (can't really mess that up); the potatoes were amazing. Very well seasoned and didn't require a sauce (I almost NEVER say that about potatoes). The staff was very friendly and accommodating with everything! It's so nice that the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, when brunch is such a staple in Denver. They even have really random music hits from various decades playing, which doesn't totally fit the theme of the restaurant but my friend and I both liked it. Fantastic!! The food, service, ambiance...it was all wonderful. The veal wasn't exactly what I envisioned, but still good. I was expecting it to be lightly pan fried with a light sauce. It was a fried piece of veal with no sauce, just tiny pieces of tomatoes and mozzarella on top. That would be the only fault I would see that came out to our table of 6. So I've been to QI twice...the first time I was blown away with the deliciousness of it all. So this second trip, I was expecting no less. After a loooong day of traveling we were looking forward to having some dinner. We had confirmed our reservation and had actually called earlier to push it back by 30 minutes which they were okay with. When we arrived they said they didn't see that update and we were in fact late. Of course we're upset because we definitely did call but either way they helped us find a table. I have a couple of food restrictions and the server was very helpful in asking the chef what my options would be so for that I raised the stars because I truly appreciated his effort. As far as the food, it was just ok. We ordered the potato gnocchi and it was a little bland. The bread they placed on the table, which I didn't try, but my husband said it tasted a little undercooked. My steak was good but my husband didn't like it when he tried a piece but again we all have different tastes so I'm going to say it was a solid 5/5 for me with the steak.
