Pretty good! Been meaning to go here for a while now. I decided to try the mi quang and i thought it was ok! The portion size was massive, I was not able to finish everything and that's a good thing haha... i thought it was interesting that this dish comes with more broth than usual, since in my experience, i see this dish usually has very little broth. I one small thing that would have made this dish perfect is that the small pork ribs weren't as tender as I would have liked it. It was a little too chewy for my tastes. This review is a little late. Was here about 3 weeks ago. Everything we ordered was good. We were greeted at the door and were seated pretty quickly. The waiter spoke pretty good English and was able to put our order in pretty easily. Quan Mii has the best banh xeo I've ever had. It's always perfectly crispy, which is hard to find. I ordered the banh xeo with pork, shrimp, and squid ($19.95) and the banh beo hue ($11.95), and both were amazing. The flavors were spot on, and the fish sauces they came with were perfect -- balanced, flavorful, and really tied everything together. Monday is super busy here at Quan Mii in Westminster. Everything here has increased in price significantly especially the fresh extra plate of herbs and vegetables $6.95. Holy cow!! We had order the Vietnamese crepe and the pork belly boiled with lots of veggies and herbs. You would expect a large plate of vegetables and herbs extra but not here. Definitely disappointing to say the least they have changed with the rate of inflation here too. Not sure we like eating here anymore even though the food is just mediocre now and not truly outstanding as we remember from two years ago here. The fish sauce is quite sweet and needs extra lime juice to smooth out the sweetness. Banh Beo was also mediocre as well and something was missing from the recipe of Hue. Thank goodness the vegetables are nice and clean with generous portions if you order the pork belly platter here. Total cost $80 for four guests today. I would only recommend this place for first time tourists to California little Saigon but not for the local foodie lovers who live here in Garden Grove as there are better quality locations serving the dishes. Overall a good selection for beginners and if you're money enhanced with extra cash to afford eating out every week. Quan Mii is the sister restaurant to Quan Nhii and can also be found in the Bolsa Mini Mall on the opposite end. Their specialty appears to be bánh xèo or crispy Vietnamese crepe. We unfortunately didn't try it and opted to order the rice wraps again. The rice wrap options are limited, but we tried the cooked pork shank and it was delightful. I also tried the yellow noodle soup with pork ribs and patties, and it was decent but not memorable. Went on New Year's Day and it was busy but we got seated in about 30 minutes! We ordered the banh xeo with pork, shrimp and squid, pork shank and egg rolls. I'm not even going to attempt to type any of that in Vietnamese lol Everything was delicious! Banh xeo was crispy and bursting with flavor from the coconut and turmeric. Been craving some Banh Xeo, i remembered seeing this place after we had dinner at a restaurant in the same plaza. A bit disappointed in the Banh Xeo, it was big but full of bean sprouts, not flavorful and not alot of meat. I ordered the one with pork, shrimp and squid. It comes with spring roll wrappers, taste better when you roll it up like springrolls then eating it alone. Spring rolls with shrimp were good, my husband likes his vermicelli pork and eggrolls. Food: Everything had huge portions and was really flavorful! I loved how much veggies and fresh herbs that were given on the lemongrass pork. They serve with a sweet and sour type of sauce rather than purely fish sauce base which was delicious. The banh beo hue was pretty good. My chicken soup (I forget the viet name for this) was also huge and really good hearty broth. Ample chicken. Everything came out really quick. Vietnamese restaurant located in the heart of Little Saigon (I think - it's on Bolsa in Westminster) and they seem to specialize in banh xeo or Vietnamese crepes. The space is pretty large and the vibe was a little frenetic. I came in around peak dinner time on a Saturday night, so not a big surprise. I was by myself, so I quickly greeted and pretty much sat right away at one of their small tables. The service was in line with my expectations at spots like this - friendly, quick, efficient. My parents told me this is their favorite spot to get banh xeo so of course that's what I was going to get. I ordered the banh xeo with just shrimp (no pork or squid). The order comes with the rice paper rolls, along with warm water to wrap up the crepe along with a generous amount of fresh greens/veggies. A very fun and delicious dining experience that made me miss dining with family at that moment (they all live in Northern CA). The crepe itself had a nice crisp but was still tender in the middle and the shrimp was well cooked. The nuoc cham was great and I had fun dipping my self handmade rolls into it for each bite. I felt like I was getting better at making the rolls, haha. Would love to try other items on the menu, but feel like it would be tough not to order the banh xeo when dining here. If I came with another person or in a group, I would definitely order some items of the appetizer menu as well.
