Was craving all the delicious looking Vietnamese food that has been popping up all over my socials, especially the crispy mochi ball specifically from this restaurant from Instagram reels Very glad I got to try it. Lots of carbs!

Even though I got the small size, it was basically 2 portions for me. Had to rest the rest to go It comes with pork blood cake, pork hock, sliced meat, and viet ham. It was a good bowl of bun bo - I dressed it up with the herbs and banana flower (not pictured)

    Banh it ram
    Amy N.

Wait was about 20 min on a Sunday! Banh it ram (6.5/10): overhyped imo....95% dough and 5% filling. Would be much better with more filling, but I did really like the crunch & that there aren't any mung beans in the filling LOL mi quang dac biet (7/10): very solid. The noodles are white bc they don't use food coloring to dye the noodles yellow anymore. The broth was seasoned perfectly and wasn't lackluster or too salty. I'd consider getting this again but there's prob better out there! Great service though, everyone was so sweet

Jumped on the viral bandwagon. The banh it ram was what others had to say to about it: crispy, mochi-like. Although it lacks filling, the super chewy rice texture makes this good carb savory staple. Good to share - 1 piece was enough carb for me. Looks like fresh mochi like texture made on their end so definitely worth a try in you're if the area. Also got the banh beo - was surprised by the portion size here. They give you a lot of the rice cakes here. Paired with some at home veggies, good for more carb loading.

FOR THE BBH FAM Waited 15 mins for 3 for lunchtime on a Saturday! Wasn't too bad. The service attentive was quick and nice. Got the BBH, the combo banh, and banh ram it. Everything was tasty and just want to note that the banh ram it took 30 mins! If you have time, it's worth it! Here's a pic of it!!

We came here for the Ban it ram for to go! The restaurant is located inside a mall, plenty of parking. The ban it ram was $17 and comes with 4 large pieces. Was a little disappointed with the dish, too much carbs and the fried part is too rich, can barely finish one, wish the sauce was a bit thicker. This dish wasn't it for me but would love to try other dishes here.

We came here specifically to try the Banh It Ram, please note they make the dish fresh so we did have to wait 20 minutes for it. The service is SOO friendly! Thank you to the nice uncle who let us sit inside even though we had a to-go order and made our drinks quickly while we sat and chatted. Banh It Ram - 4/5, large portions with good flavor! I'd compare it to a crunchy rice cracker with mochi and shrimp filling on top. Lots of nuoc mam sauce! Salted plum drink - 5/5, really good sour plum flavor and the club soda isn't bitter!! One of my favorite drinks, soo happy to find somewhere that makes it well. Vietnamese coffee - 4/5, very strong and bitter.

Came here to try the viral ban it ram, but honestly it was the least of my favorite things that we ordered. The star here is definitely the bun bo hue (in my opinion). My friend and I shared the spicy soup, banh it ram, and banh beo chen. This was too much for food us, but we loved trying everything! Both of our favorites was the soup and then the banh beo chen, which is a lot for 2 people since you get 10. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee and my friend the pennyworth juice. The juice had a very grass-type flavor to it, would recommend something else if you're looking for something with some sweetness to it. The coffee was good! I would come back to get the bun bo hue again and try other dishes. There was no wait around 11am on a Friday, but it did start to fill up as it got later.

    bánh ít kẹp bánh ram...

know this vietnamese restaurant from reels and decide to come here while on my way to san diego. when i was here, it was packed. the restaurant is quite spacious. for foods: * bún bò huế đặc biệt: taste is mediocre but it comes quite complete with blood and meats... * bánh bột lọc trần: this dumpling is a must dish that has to be ordered. the sauce is also quite spicy and perfect combination... * bánh bèo chén: another dish has to be ordered. the crispy pork rind is so crunchy and so good... * cơm sườn tôm riềm: a rice plate that comes with pork ribs and shrimps. the pork ribs is so tender and sauce is so good. a bit sweet but when it mixed with rice, the taste is just right. just a suggestion: giving radish and carrots pickle will make it even perfect... * bánh ít kẹp bánh ram: love this appetizer actually. almost cannot find it at other vietnamese restaurants ~ must try!!! * nem chua: it is good but don't like it when biting the pepper. wonder if pepper ground powder can be used instead of whole one??? overall, if you are a vietnamese foods lover, you have to try the dishes at this restaurant. prices are wise, just a bit difficult to find parking space...

    My Bun Bo Hue.
    Sandy K.

I arrived here just before they were closing which is 7:00 pm. Parking was easily accessible since most of the businesses close early at this strip mall. Service is on point and I went with a large bun bo hue. The portions of protein are generous and I was totally satisfied and full with my bowl of soup. They now accept credit cards versus the old policy of cash only which is convenient. Ngu Binh remains one of my favorite spots for Bun bo hue in Little Saigon, Westminster.

    Terrenz V.

Maybe it was an off day, but I remember the bun bo hue being better. Maybe it was lacking spice this time around. The banh beo has always been really good here. I also got a catering order of banh nam for a holiday party and my family loved it. The staff were super friendly. The restaurant is spacious. I once brought my family of 20+ people with no reservations and they had no probably accommodating.

Our family was visiting from out of town and really wanted to try this place. We were honestly surprised by how low the ratings were because we enjoyed everything we ordered, from the banh beo and banh ram it to the bun bo hue. Then again, places with lower ratings are usually the hidden gems, so I'm glad we decided to give this spot a try. Luckily, we came for lunch and were seated right away. The service was amazing, the servers kept checking on us, making sure our order was correct, and refilling our water. Everything came out hot and perfect with no issues at all. Our family was so quiet during lunch, and we realized it was because everyone was too busy enjoying the food 10/10, we'd definitely come back!

Con Suon Tom Riem - not good at all
    SB K.

After seeing this Instagram influencer, @TheSpicyJuju, crunching on Ngu Binh's Banh It Kep Bahn Ram in her car, I was so excited to go try it out for myself with my family. Unfortunately for us, the experience was disappointing. I usually dislike giving negative reviews, but I want to be as honest as I can be if I'm taking the time to post one. I'll start with the only positives: we got seated quickly, and the auntie who took our order was really sweet and great at promoting their specialty drinks (we just wanted iced water tho). The menu was very small, and they're probably well-known for their noodle soup, Bun Bo Hue, which we didn't order. To be fair, this review is only for 2 menu items that we got for lunch. Since the Bahn It Ram takes at least 20-25 minutes, we got their Con Suon Tom Riem (steamed rice with pork short rib and peel-on shrimp) to tide us over. It looked good, but when we started eating the pork it was so tough, and probably needed at least 2 hours in the stewed liquid to tenderize the meat. The shrimp was plump and decent, but peeling it was annoying and they didn't clean the shrimp IYKYK (I had to remove the icky stuff myself). ‍ I'm being generous giving this dish a 4/10. As for the "viral" Banh It Ram, we got 2 orders because I thought we would all love it. Each order of 4 pieces was $16 (!), so I really regret this decision. These finally came out after 25 minutes (auntie was up front about the wait time), and were visually appetizing like in the video. When we bit into them, sorry to say, but it lacked flavor. The steamed mochi on top was supposed to be stuffed with pork and shrimp, but it was mostly dough (very little filling). It did have a nice crunch on the bottom fried mochi, and the dipping sauce had a sweet, sour, spicy, umami kick to it, but it still didn't satisfy us flavor-wise. It was ok at best - giving it a 5.5/10 because texture-wise it was so interesting and very crispy. Our bill with tip for 3 items came to over $60 -- not worth the money. With so many other great Vietnamese restaurants in the Westminster area, I would say skip this one.

We debated whether we should wait and I'm glad we decided to wait. The wait time was spot on. The inside of the restaurant was even more crowded than it was outside, but we still felt we were able to have an intimate meal (it was loud and busy so we enjoyed our dinner without anyone else noticing us). We ordered: 1) Coconut snails-this was delicious and an activity to eat in and if itself. 2) razor clams in tamarind sauce-I really liked this dish but my wife didn't like the sauce so much. She thought it was too sweet and would pick buttered garlic next time. 3) king scallops-excellent! Perfectly cooked and seasoned, with lots of toppings. 4) snail salad-wife loved this dish, but she feels it could use more crispy rice chips. 5) oyster sashimi-this was my favorite. I've eaten raw oysters many, many times in my life and this was the best I've ever had. Despite it being busy, service was good! They were responsive to all of our requests and were super friendly!

They have a wide selection of dishes that isn't just seafood but I would say it defeats the purpose if you're getting a meat dish at this place. The soft shell crab was super crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The crab/shrimp fried rice was also pretty solid but I think I prefer Thai crab fried rice. We also got a beef hot pot which was my driest time having viet hot pot. I don't think it's for me, the beef broth was sweet and I don't typically enjoy my savory foods to be sweet. The meat itself was really tender though, maybe if we opted for a seafood hot pot it would've been better. Service was standard, quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean and modern with ample amount of seating. I don't think I would go out of my way to come back here but it was still an enjoyable experience where I got to try new dishes.
