Been here a few times already for lunch already and it's a good reliable places when we want something comforting and filling! The bowls always comes out consistently presentable too, especially for such quick service. And I've come only for lunch and so far always lucky to get a table We usually order the Hainan chicken rice and one pho to share between the two of us, and that ends up being the perfect amount. The chicken is soft, the rice is flavorful. The soup also hits the spot, especially before adding all the fresh herbs and bean sprouts on the side. Portions are quite generous, the flavors clean and comforting, and everything arrives fast without feeling rushed. Now our easy lunch rotation spot!

The food was on point here! My chicken pho was impeccable. From the silky sliced pieces of chicken perfectly cooking on the side to the perfectly cooked pho noodles. Everyone loved their beef and special pho. Sizzling steak and surf and turf were also well loved. Fries and garlic wings were also delicious and good the next day. Service was amazing. Ambiance also good. Thank you Pho Nic!

This will be my go-to for Hainanese Chicken! The dish is more of Singaporean-Malaysian style. It's similar to Ipoh restaurant in Alhambra but it's less oily, which I prefer. The food came out super fast, like less than 5 minutes after I ordered. They are super packed during weekday lunch. It seems like lots of workers come here during their lunch time. Weekends of course has long line, unfortunately.

Open now for over 2 years next to a very busy shopping plaza by Costco and they got all the right ingredients for a good meal for the whole family. Nice clean restaurant and restroom here. Service is adequate and 3 staff working the tables for lunch on Tuesday afternoon. The golden fried chicken was not the best as you can tell not piping hot wings that just got fried today. The Hainam chicken and rice was a good second choice for lunch. But I had to taste both to decide whether to give them 3 stars or five star. Pho Nic probably has better beef Pho options than chicken and if you order drumsticks they charge $1 more. Overall pho Nic is average Chain restaurant in the same category of new Pho restaurant opening in the last two years in the Vietnamese community by Northern folks immigrating from Vietnam in recent years to America. The Great Gold Coast of California business opportunities. But for the Real OG flavor and true Southern hospitality you gotz to taste Pho 79 in Westminster California USA. Cash only at Pho 79.

I've been to Pho Nic and couple times and tried both their Pho Nic (classic beef pho with rib bone) and the Pho Chicken. Overall, both are good choices if you're craving a bowl of hot Pho, especially on a cold day. The broth in both bowls was well-seasoned and rich. The meat on the beef rib bone was tender and came off the bone almost on its own while the chicken (even the white meat) was really juicy and tender. The service both times I went was great. Waiters were attentive and food came out decently quickly. The store has a fair amount of tables inside only, but turnover is pretty quick so there isn't really a long wait.

This is my go-to lunch spot near work. The wait times to get seated, place an order, and eat are pretty short, so I can easily grab a bowl of pho and finish within my one-hour lunch break. The only downside is the parking situation. Since it's located in the same plaza as Costco, finding a parking spot can be a challenge, especially during peak hours. I appreciate that they take Apple Pay and offer a QR code system for ordering, which makes the whole process quick and convenient. It feels very modern and efficient. So far, I've mainly stuck to their Hainan chicken and rice and the build-your-own pho, and both have been solid choices. The prices are reasonable. There are cheaper options out there, but I'd have to drive farther, and when I'm craving pho during lunch, I don't have much time to spare.

I really like the Hainan Chicken Rice and the Nic Pho Which include the back rib chicken is very tender, but not over cooked Pho Broth is very flavorful and brisket, Tendon, rib is good as well When I came, the restaurant were packed, but the wait was not bad, around 15 mons The staff is well-trained as you can see by their friendly and quick service 5 Star Well Deserved

Usually come for the pho and chicken wings but finally got the Hainan chicken and it is very very good. The red ginger sauce is spicier than most which I appreciate the kick. Comparable to speciality places that only sell that dish. I continue to love this pho nic!!

I met a friend here at lunchtime on a weekday. When we arrived the place was packed with only one table available which we snagged. Our waiter was all business, understandably too busy for friendly chit chat; just get the order and quickly move on. My friend was in the mood for pho, which is why we were here (my friend proclaimed the pho here was fantastic) but I wasn't in the mood for anything soupy or noodley. I just ordered a couple of appetizers - deep fried eggrolls and cream cheese wontons - along with a Thai tea. The Thai tea was perfection; it doesn't get any better than that. The egg rolls were crunchy-delicious and the wontons were equally crunchy-delicious if not more so. The sweet and sour sauce was superb and enhanced the flavor of the wontons as I gave each one a good dip. While I might not have gotten the full Pho Nic experience, I can say that their appetizers are excellent.

Hainanese Chicken Rice

Yelp recommended Pho Nic as I was browsing for a place to eat near Fountain Valley. They are located in a strip mall next to Costco in Fountain Valley, so expect parking to be difficult. Overall, I was disappointed. The food didn't really stand out, but it wasn't shabby either. It's okay. Hainanese Chicken Rice - 2.5/5. I have incredibly high standards for this dish, since I grew up with it and it's still my favorite. Rice is a core part of Hainanese Chicken Rice, and most people miss it. Pho Nic's chicken rice is starchy, lumpy, and lacks the fragrance and taste expected of a good Hainanese Chicken Rice. The chicken wasn't too bad. The poached meat is tender and has a lovely, subtle ginger and scallion flavor. But I wish there were a bit more chicken flavor. The chicken skin has a slightly rubbery texture, but it's good overall. The chicken soup isn't as clear as I would like. It has a reasonably strong star anise and clove flavor, which I don't quite like - but it's subjective, I usually prefer my chicken soup clear and has more chicken flavor. Vermicelli Bowl - 3/5. We had it with tofu and shrimp. It's not bad. The tofu, the dish's highlight, was deep-fried to a nice crisp. Overall, the dish was okay.

this place is mid. I had really high hopes because my aunt kept raving about it to my mom. Unfortunately, my aunt let us down with this one. It is located in a busy shopping center due to its proximity to costco. There is a lot of parking, but it gets packed. When you walk in they greet you immediately and direct you to a table. The restaurant was packed. I thought this was a good sign. I also like to ask the staff what is popular and their go to menu item - unfortunately, the server we had provided no input or helpful insight. We went with their Hainanese Chicken rice plate and pho. The food came out so quickly we barely finished ordering what we wanted and it was coming to the table. Pho was okay. Soup was bland , but thankfully it came with that dipping sauce because that was the only source of flavor. Rice place was more of the same note. Bland rice boiled with chicken water and chicken that you needed to drench in the sauces they provide. overall, I probably would not go again. The problem for them being located in fountain valley is there's a better spot at every corner.

Yummy. Lots of meat for pho combo!

Authentic and great tasting. Love their Broth and serving size is huge. Long lines on weekends so be prepared to wait. It's pretty clean and fast service. Trust.

The chicken wings were phenomenal. We got all flats, which I'm not sure if they normally serve it like that. They were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and just enough seasoning. The broth was super tasty. The oxtail cooked well. The noodles were in my opinion too soft. That's fine, my granddaughter likes him a little soft. The service was service, not bad or good. It was a small place, felt a little chaotic. Would I go back, if I was in the area probably.

Service chill, can pay at register in the front, like typical viet restaraunt where they kinda leave you to it. The Grandpa's noodles was good (a dryer noodle), great portion, meat was tender, the radish cube looking things was crispy bits of pork skin. The menu is unique here and mostly in vietnamese. I think I had wished for some sauce to go with the noodles (but I understand its mostly with the soup on the side), good tightness of the meatballs :D... They have the classic condiments on the side, the pickled garlic isn't very crunchy and kind of on the sweet side, the pickled chili does have that slight acidic kick that works well. I modified my noodle to egg for a dollar. The soup was good, on the more umami soy/beef side than clear. The wontons were abundant too, instead of a chili oil the sauce is more like a tangy sweet chili vinegrette thing. My accompaniment got a garlic noodle soup (fried garlic oil) that was rich and also in a huge bowl. For the price and portion its a hidden gem for someone who needs to feed a family. Not like gourmet, but good enough! Omg, also I missed the corn milk :((

I picked the Sò Lông Nướng Mỡ Hành & it was really good. Anyway, I have a crown cap so I wasn't super alarmed, but still a bit shook. I still finished my food but I politely tried to let one of the cashiers know. I showed him & everything & he was apologetic & asked what they could do to fix the situation. So I asked for a refund. And the other cashier said in Vietnamese something about me, like "Con nhỏ này" & I thought maybe he's talking about something else-but then when he gave me the receipt of my refund, he said "and I don't want you to be a customer here anymore." I was very appalled and I stood there wondering if he really just said that to me after I had an experience. I asked him why he didn't want me to be a customer anymore. And he turns to a customer to ring them out, ignoring me. So I waited til he was done with that transaction & repeated my question. He flat out said "because you're annoying." WOW. That's just so rude. And unfortunate bc I thought the food was really good & wanted to come back for the clam & the sweet corn milk. So I definitely wouldn't want to be a customer anyways with that kind of attitude towards a customer. Btw they give you plastic utensils here even for dining in which is a con.

Massive parking lot so that was easy, one friend went ahead and let them know we had 10 incoming. They made room and we sat immediately. One of the spots that you scan a menu at the table and you review, order and pay all in the app. I was really not familiar with the line up and went with the "House Special Beef Pot Roodle" (Roodles are their rice noodles). It was a weekend only item and I tried that. The noodles came separate from the soup. Over all it was very tasty. The meat was a bit fatty and the soup had tendons too. I took that part home and my wife loved it. I tend to avoid the fatty meat and tendons are not good to me. 10 of us so some of the appetizers got passed around. The smashed cucumbers are excellent, and my buddy also got some friend potatoes of sorts, reminded me of a fat French fry. Because my buddy and I sat at the same table we scanned the same menu, he ordered a bunch of stuff and also House Special Beef Pot Roodle. That confused the kitchen and they asked me if I meant to order 2, I said no and didn't realize I cancelled my buddy's order. Part of the confusion of a large party and many scanned menu orders. My buddy was struggling to order and our initial waiter seemed to not understand my friend and that took a little bit to work out, young lady came from the back and was able to quickly resolve some of the confusion and get questions answered as needed. In the end he had lot of food to explore. One thing that caught my eye was several couples there and sharing a large soup item served with a tray of various food items for the soup. Kind of a date night visual and something that looked very interesting. Several couples around us had that same dish and its got me more curious. I ordered their most popular dish, the A1 set, but honestly, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The broth tasted pretty underseasoned overall. From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. Nothing really stood out to me enough to return, and it felt more like a one-time experience. Overall, everything was just okay.
