Great for almost any occasion and family friendly. They have live music on the weekends which is pretty good. The wait staff is a bit underwhelming as they usually don't check in on you after the food comes out. And there can be a language barrier in ordering or asking questions. Have visited this restaurant many times, and all but the last visti was fantastic. Last visit was on New Year's Eve and the place was packed at 9:00PM. Got a seat quickly, but the waiter was another 8-10 minutes, with one quick stop by, to only leave again to bus a table. When he returned, I was not overly happy, but he was oblivious. Ordered a Pupu Platter for two, some rice and a Scorpion bowl. The drink came out first and it was definitely strong, but not the right flavor to be called a Scorpion bowl. Next came the food and the first thing I noticed was that the platter had only two chicken wings, whereas the menu stated four (only reason I note this is that we were given two menus, a yellow and a white one, and there was an Appetizer Special with two wings, and the Pupu platter was supposed to have four, and my wife an I bet what we would get, and she was won.) We started to eat the meal, which was flavorful, but found that the chicken fingers and the shrimp were just lost in all the dough, something other restaurant do, but not normally Quan's Kitchen. Next I tried the wings, and the first seemed a little undercooked, but the second was very undercooked, with a bloody red joints, which was not appetizing, and something that made me happy we didn't get four wings. Absolute worst dining experience in my whole life. They had 1 poor waiter on for a room of 100+ customers. Management was no where in sight to help the poor kid out with running to bar or processing payments. We ordered drinks then did not see the waiter for 30 minutes & only then because we literally hunted him down. Food took extra long to be delivered so was luke warm. Food was also bland, nothing to get excited about. It then took more than 30 minutes to pay the bill. I will never set foot in Quans Kitchen again. I would never recommend anyone go there. read more

This by far is the best Chinese food I have ever had; The food is always fresh and of excellent quality. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out and the employees are friendly and pleasant. In fact... I love this place so much my husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here. Which if you are considering, was decently priced, our guests were happy and it was a great evening. This place is awesome. I went here for the soft opening and it was good to see how much time and attention they were putting into the dining experience. Its kind of weird that they charge extra for comprable substitutions due to food allergy (chicken fingers rather fried shrimp). Even more weird that when i tell them I'm allergic to shrimp they dont mention the egg rolls that come with the plate also contain shrimp. Either way not a deal breaker its my favorite spot. I recommended Quans to some friend now its their favorite place too. I recently started ordering food here for the team at my corporate office and its turned into almost a weekly tradition. I was disappointed with this restaurant. The food was just average. I had high expectations because I have seen it on area restaurant shows. I gave it a few extra stars because the restaurant is very clean and had a nice Asian décor. I think the food is over-priced, not that tasty and you are unable to order from the lunch specials on Sunday. Usually most Chinese places don't allow you to order from the lunch or combo menu on Christmas and NYE. There are just better places in the area for Chinese food. If you do wish to try out the restaurant there is ample parking and it is located near The Hanover Mall. The hostess and waitress were very friendly. It makes me so sad to write these words but I am never coming back to Quan's. I had to "eat light" today and thought I could have a nice meal. No such luck. Tak, my server, would not allow me swap out meat and pork fried rice for a simple cup of soup. Really? I could understand if I was asking for something that cost more but a cup of soup? It did not matter to Tak. He appeared to be amused by this situation. I was far from amused. Unfortunately, or conveniently, there wasn't a manager or boss around to speak with. Food is just ok. When leaving, there was a stench of raw sewage in the lot. We were shocked to see the uniformed food handlers in the parking lot with 5 gallon buckets with 2-5 sewer covers open. We inquired what they were doing by email and they didn't respond. We couldn't discern if they were dumping or cleaning out the sewer. Had they replied, I wouldn't have posted. I cannot say enough about how great Quan's Kitchen is. The service is excellent, the owner knows regular customers by name and unobtrusively stops by every table to say hello when he is there. (He owns 2-3 other restaurants) The atmosphere and decor are classy and elegant, the linens, silverware, and china are all of the quality I would expect to find only in a much more expensive restaurant. The owner is a photography collector, and the walls are covered with photographs, including a couple of vintage Ansel Adams prints! Bet you never saw that in a Chinese restaurant before! The quality of the Chinese food is top notch, the portions are great, and the sushi is amazing too. This is the only non-Japanese restaurant anywhere where I will order sushi. The fish is always fresh, the portions well sized, and everything is made to order. There are no precut slabs of fish here. order the chirashi-don for the best value on the sushi menu. 5 stars in every aspect. Tsang's nearby is not bad, but Quan's is in a league of their own. read more

I have gone to the one in N. Attelboro and was super excited they open one closer to me. . They are located right on Route 53 off exit 13 of Route 3 in Hanover (after Target). The building is huge, with several different function rooms. Almost a Art Deco feel. The food is realy good, especially the Lemon Chicken & appetizers, everything is super fresh as well. They do have a few quirks, the wait staff is extremely slow, we waited for almost 15 minutes before anyone brought water or took our order and the mixed drinks were way to strong, that is was almost impossible to drink without having it burn your throat when you took a sip. We went here for a Father's Day lunch on Sunday and were really impressed. My boyfriend's parents suggested it because they live in Marshfield. Apparently many restaurants have tried and failed in this space because it's just so big. Hopefully this Asian restaurant is going to make it, if it's up to the quality of food than they will definitely because it's very good. They have a good variety of Asian food - from your typical American-influenced "let's deep fry every type of meat and skewer it" to the "no salt/no gluten, no fat steamed vegetables." They also offer a variety of sushi (pretty $$ though). I also hear they have some good cocktails but we just got tea and cokes. For food we got vegetable tempura (yummy, I like the addition of the green beans - you don't usually see that), vegetable fried rice (without egg so I could eat it) - absolutely delicious and flavorful, the spicy eggplant and vegetable dish (yum - loved the fungi/mushrooms you don't see that often), and they also got a fried chicken dish with vegetables (included a good amount of veggies). Everyone liked it. His parents found the eggplant dish a little to spicy for them but my boyfriend and I thought it was spot on (we like things spicy). We had a little bit leftover to take home and feeding 4 of us for lunch only cost us about $39 + tip! With a space this big they may need to expand the services such as adding a Hibachi Grill. We came here as a party of six one Friday night and we had no problem getting seated immediately. We were at a table that sat five comfortably, so it was a little cramped as six. However, our server was awesome at clearing plates and making sure there was room on the table. We started off with drinks that came out quickly and they were strong. For me, I had a scorpion bowl and it was awesome. After just one of those, I was starting to feel it and I knew I had to slow down. Others in our party at the Blue Hawaiian and Mai Tais. We split several Chinese entrees and sushi. I wasn't in the mood for anything fancy and I'm not one to venture too far off the menu. I had a couple pieces of maki sushi (tuna) and a few pieces of a California roll. It was simple, but tasty. My only complaint was that we were halfway through our sushi platters before the Chinese food entrees arrived.
