Worst eggplant I've ever had. I didn't eat much of it. It was all skin. What parts were not mostly skin still tasted bad and had a weird texture. I also ordered a diet coke, and they just brought out the can with a glass filled with ice. On Tuesday night we walked into Quattro's because 110 had a 45 minute wait. We had not been in since 2019 due to the pandemic. Of course, our first thought was why is this place so dead. I have to say, that I am still asking that question because the food was very good and the service was great. We had the flatbread and salads. I understand that is not complicated, but a lot of places mess up flatbreads. This one was cooked perfectly with the right balance of toppings. The salads were fresh and there was a good variety of salads on the menu. We will return and we recommend this restaurant. I know trends move around in neighborhoods, this was a hot place for the 'in crowd' for years. I hope those crowds return when they get over their 110 fetish. I like this place because it is in the perfect spot, right down the street from me and they have great outside seating where you can see the sunset. They also have great martinis! I have had the pizza and think it is good, the salads are good too. Although we haven't tried a lot of the menu, I think overall it has been very good in my opinion. I think my only problem with the place, at least for the outside seating, is it is not kept up and is sometimes dirty and messy looking. I wish they would just put up new tiki lamps to keep the bugs away and clean up the old bags of mulch and planters and trash on the side of the building. They also need to make sure if people have their dogs, they clean up the dogfood under the tables! Put my foot right in a pile of food with ants all over it. I was excited to go there, my wife went with a friend of hers two weeks ago and it is all that I hear about. How the food was. The killer caramel apple martini.... So for mother's day it was a slam dunk, and that is where it ended. They were dead, almost no customers. There was left over food under the tables, and could have used a good sweep. The bread service was so dried out it was like a crostini with a butter, garlic oil thing for dipping. The food was a nightmare, and service was super slow. They comped the meal. And we thought it was over, on the drive home we began to throw up. 24hrs later, and a handful of tums we are still recovering. After being in the industry for over 25 years you know when you get poisoned from over use of sanitizer. We called the restaurant to say what happened and to be careful. The male manager who my wife spoke to said we must have covid and that were had too many drinks and basically trashed, and food poisoning takes 24hrs. True but poising takes maybe 45 minutes. 60 to 90 minutes to get a meal that was comped, never seen the waitress, a "manager" that is hands off. Also if you say we had to much to drink why did we never see you? I am 350 pounds, two draft beers is all I had. Food was amazing. Ordered the tuna steak and the short rib. Two most expensive things but cooked perfectly. Dude behind the bar was amazing. The crowd here threw me off. There isn't one. Went for the first time tonight as surrounding restaurants had long waits, and it is conveniently located and we thought let's give it a try. Nice atmosphere. We had a flat bread pizza which was delicious and the Tiramisu was outstanding. Plenty of parking and thinking it's a hidden gem. read more

Similar to others, we've been here a few times for dinner...maybe 4x's in the last year. Last weekend was our most recent. With very few options we made reservations and dinned again. Its the consistency of the meals and service that just isn't there. On our first time there we had the most attentive wait staff. Very communicative, pleasant, and nice....followed with some great apps, wine, and entrees. We left super satisfied and happy with our new hometowns dinning experience. After that, we've consistently seen disparities in both food and service experience. (Wait staff bringing out the wrong wine, food sometimes bland and meh, staff defensive for seemingly errors with order delivered, sometimes staff don't seem too happy.) One day you go in and all of most goes well...the next time, maybe it was a full moon or something, because not all the pieces connected.. Will we go back...? Due to the limited selection..probably. Stopped by for a quick lunch on my way to EMC just up the street. Lots of EMCers frequent this place by the looks of it. Suitable for a nice lunch, just a step up from casual. There's a patio with several tables, great for al fresco dining. The lunch menu is sandwiches, wraps, salads and the like. I was going to have a turkey wrap but the waitress informed me that they didn't have any turkey. Huh? Seems like that's a pretty basic ingredient for a restaurant. Running out of it could be a sign of deeper management problems but the rest of the lunch was uneventful. The waitress was attentive and the food appeared quickly. Truly, truly awful. I have eaten at bad restaurants before, but I've never left wondering how the owners had the audacity to charge money for the food they provided. Until I ate at Quattro. I would seriously give zero stars if I could. My sirloin was fatty and extremely tough, made even tougher by the fact that I was given a dull standard knife instead of a steak knife. Even tougher than swallowing the meat was swallowing the cost. Nearly $30 for a lukewarm overcooked steak with two small potatoes. You could legitimately get better steak at Applebees. This restaurant coasts on its bar and it's proximity to local businesses' employees who don't have any options in sleepy Hopkinton. Do yourself a favor and drive two minutes down the road to 110 Grille. It won't blow your socks off, but it blows the doors off Quattro. read more

It was Monday evening and the place was dead, so we were seated quickly. But it went downhill very fast. We were asked if we wanted bread, and we did and I also asked for balsamic vinegar. The bread that came were these absolutely flavorless small chunks of white bread. Stiff enough that bending it split the small piece of bread. The balsamic vinegar was not your standard balsamic, it must have been some kind of mix because it was sweet. I wasn't a fan. I had lasagna, and it tasted okay. It was the oddest looking lasagna I've had, but it wasn't bad. My friend got the citrus salmon and she wasn't a fan of it (I'm not a fish-person so after trying it I just thought it was dry but no other real opinion). The waitress never came by to refill our water. I had to get up to ask for more water. (Remember how I said the restaurant was dead, it's not like they were super busy where something like this would be forgotten about). The worst of it, if you can believe it, they had Fox fucking News playing Hannity back by the bar. It was so distracting to hear that bullshit while trying to enjoy my dinner. Read the reviews on the way there and was nervous after seeing all the bad reviews. Made a decision to still go. If it wasn't what we were expecting, we could turn around and leave. Quattro is one of the few Italian restaurants in Hopkinton... I'm actually not even sure if there are any others. Anywho, it is located in an innocent shopping plaza right off I-495. Don't just let the fact of it being located in a shopping center disappoint you... this is a fabulous establishment that I would overall highly suggest and gladly come back to in future instances of myself being in the Hopkinton area. The restaurant is clean, has a beautiful outside seating area (nice weather months), and has a well decorated, comfortable inside area filled with booths and a long curved bar. There is a separate dining room as well, for the folks who like a quieter dinner or lunch. Lots of parking available, and Kim and the other man who work here during the day are both fabulous. They are friendly, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I should mention that for such a small, independently owned establishment (as such), they have a large menu and good variety for those with allergies and such. I thought everything sounded very appetizing. They give out popcorn as a starter, and in general do a fabulous job of making orders efficiently and effectively. I ordered a burger, which was fabulous. No complaints whatsoever.... very flavorful and large enough for another meal (had to take some home!). Food was good--the four of us were happily satisfied sharing 9 (!) tapas, ranging from salads to the "Buffalo Balls" to the short rib arancini. All were delicious, well-prepared, and brought out relatively quickly. Our server was wonderful if overworked. She had to cover all tables in and outside, but maintained a pleasant and helpful attitude. The reason we decided on 2 starts was because the bartender (owner?) was not wearing a mask and he was in close contact with many of the patrons seated at the bar. The only time he did put one on, he had it pulled down anyway. I am hoping he had nothing to do with our food, etc. We were not asked information regarding covid tracing either. I went here with my daughter for an early dinner. The food was awful. Bacon wrapped scallops that most of the bacon was completely uncooked and fatty. We removed the raw bacon & the scallops were ok but our waitress never even asked how it was. I had the eggplant Parm, it was terrible. My husband and I had a rare night out alone and decided to give it a try. The place was clean and the decor was nice... but I wish I had read the reviews first. We walked in and stood waiting at the hostess stand. After a few minutes of waiting, we turned to leave but a waitress saw us and sat us. When the hostess went back to her stand, she leaned over it and rested on her elbows typing on her cell phone and drinking a glass of wine. She did this almost the entire time I was eating. The waitress who was cleaning the table next to ours stopped cleaning 1/2 way through - leaving her cleaning supplies and spray bottle sitting on the table. I sat at my table eating Brie and Bread (Which was good) looking at a dirty table and a bottle of chemicals. My husband and I frequent great steak places-- so we were excited to try the steaks here. Mistake! Our steaks were over priced and very fatty. My husband's steak was seriously under cooked. . Our waitress was OK but disappeared 1/2 way through dinner. When we finished, we sat waiting for the check and finally had to ask the bartender to find her so we could pay. As we stood at the bar waiting for our check, we watched another waitress sitting at the bar on her phone , looking up every once in a while. I am no expert, but I can't help but wonder why the owner(s) don't read the reviews and make some changes to this place. Excellent service all around. Very cozy, clean and great atmosphere! Drinks were amazing, Martini's and Sangria. The bread was warm and fresh. Appetizers were on point and the menu had quite a few so we got two the Meatballs and Baked Brie with Rasberry Drizzle. Entrees were on point! Sirloin was cooked perfect and sides were yummy!! In short...in the area(Hopkinton, Upton, Milford etc..) probably the best all around place...food, wine list and decor. Food my fiancee had the salmon and I had the haddock and both were great! I esp. liked mine was over spinach since I didn't feel like pasta. Opened with the fried goat cheese and the worst I can say was that 1 or 2 more pieces of bread were needed since I ran out of that quickly. Wine--GREAT and very well priced wine list. By the glass choices were nicer than many other places. Decor--really nice looking place for the 'burbs 8 minutes from home. Bar--great bar. Both well stocked, great looking, great ambiance and a really cool look with a tile inlay. I've read the other review(s) and have NO idea what these people were thinking... because the place hasn't even had a grand opening yet...gotta give them a chance to work out details like any new place. But the guy complaining about rosemary in the piccata? Are you kidding me? That's his complaint and his only Yelp review? The place was rocking, food was great, wine was great and...it was 8 minutes from home!!!! ADDED 2/19--So I've been there 5x now, and just for fun read some of the other reviews...I'm shaking my head...One lady who has only one review on Yelp is complaining that it's NOT an Irish pub. And the other guy who reviewed the place on what must have been the 1st or 2nd night based on the date. Does anyone think that a new restaurant and staff have it all figured out on the first night? If we could give it a zero, we would! Went in tonight in an attempt to have a nice Father's Day dinner. Had been here before, but couldn't remember why it had been so long since we had been there...now we know. We got to the restaurant around 6:40 and were seated fairly quickly. Ordered drinks within the first few minutes of being seated, but waited around for 15-20 minutes just to get the drinks. Meanwhile, we also waited for about 20-30 minutes to order our food. Once salads and dinners had been ordered, we waited another ridiculous amount of time before the food came out. More drinks had been ordered, which we didn't receive for another 10-20 minutes. Our waitress continued to apologize for the wait and claimed that they didn't know they would be as busy as they were...there were SEVERAL open tables throughout the small restaurant. By the time 2 of the 4 meals arrived at the table, one of them was so cold that it was inedible (a chicken parmesan with a side of pasta), The other just didn't taste great for how long we had waited. When the other 2 meals arrived (jumbo prawn scampi for both), the two looked VERY different and barely had a taste to them, most importantly, they were luke warm/cold. We asked for the manager, who apologized, but she continued to ask us what she should do. I believe if you are the manager, you should surely know what to do. We were honest in saying that it was a horrible experience waiting for drinks and salads, etc. and she said she would take those things off of the bill. After attempting to eat the food that had been served, we opted for the bill and found that actually none of the items the waitress had said she would remove had actually been removed. For an attempt to have a nice Father's Day dinner with our dad, we were extremely unimpressed and certainly will NOT be back ever again. read more

This was the 3rd time I've tried Quattro and the 3rd time I've had a bad experience, but by far this was the worst. Never coming back, it's a waste of time and money. Arrived at 12:10 for lunch, was seated within not too much time, placed our orders (party of 2) at about 12:15, did not get our food on the table until 12:52. No check-in, no explanation, we had to stop the server in training and asked what happened. They brought the food out and it was ice cold, like it had been sitting out for over 30 minutes. We let the server know that we were disappointed in both how long it took the food to come and how cold it was. They apologized however there was no attempt to make amends, offer a discount, bring something different, a coupon for next time, an explanation about why this happened. Nothing. The food is also over priced for what it is. Next time save yourself time and money, get on the freeway and drive to Milford for lunch. read more

I have eaten there twice. Bottom line: for those of us who live in the area, an okay choice for lunch. Over-priced for quality of food for dinner. Pros: Good lunch options, nice ambiance, friendly staff, nice dinner variety of options, nice wine list, good mixed drinks. Good location (close to 495). Tables are a good size--both times I ate as a party of three and we had plenty of room. Cons: eggplant on the flat bread pizza was way over fried--just awful. Inconsistent service (feel the staff needs training). "Beet" salad had teensy pieces or bland beets. Alas, I will probably go there for dinner again because it is convenient for a few friends and I who live in the area. But I will eat ahead of time and just have a salad! read more

If I could, I would rate this zero stars. I knew I was in trouble when I spotted a dish named Zio Paolo, I think it was pasta dish. This place is a restaurant that's all show because it looks nice when you walk in, but the staff is mediocre and the food is worse. Fyi, Zio Paolo was a failed restaurant attempt by the same owner that was located in nearby Medway. It had the same lack of attention to detail. Tried Quattro for the first time tonight. Drinks and appetizers were very good; albeit not served as described on the menu. The entrees were ok, but for the prices charged, I expected better. All in all, I think there is a lot of variety on the menu that could be pared down in order to focus more attention on having speciality dishes.
