This buffet just opened about 2 months ago and it has a newish feel as this inside looks fresh and clean. Lunch price is $14.99, plus $2.99 for a drink which are Pepsi products. They offer a 10% discount for senior citizens 60 and over. They are located on the south east side, in a strip of businesses that share a parking lot. They have ample parking for now, multiple business are being built around the area like a Chick-fil-A and crew carwash. Service was good. They seat you at a table or booth, provide you with a fork in a "queen buffet" sleeve, and get your drink order. I couldn't find the plates at first, but they are in the buffet are underneath the food items. Each station has some and there were plenty. I always like to scan all the choices before deciding what I want. It was like a typical Asian/ American buffet. They have a variety of food during lunch time. They also had a sushi bar, hibachi, and desserts with ice cream and popsicles. I really enjoyed the plantains, chicken and broccoli, lo mein, and the fruit. read more

A friend recently told me that this place offered a decent buffet. The four star Yelp review average is impressive and made me interested and hopeful. It's located in a strip mall. The parking was easy and adequate. The inside looks very open and clean. The buffet is just OK. I was hoping for a little bit more flavor and variety. Even the hibachi part fell short of having more taste. The sushi bar lacked an all veggie option. The fried dumplings were disappointing. The noodles were not the best. A few bonus points for the cheesecake on the dessert display. On a 10 scale, I would give the hot and sour soup a 5 and the miso soup a 2. I noticed that they had lots of seafood options. I did not try any of it. The soups were oddly presented on a shelf below waist level. I felt like it could be compromised and could potentially be not completely sanitary. Queen Buffet is a new restaurant that just opened on the Southside. It's located in the same strip mall as Planet Fitness and Ollie's. There is plenty of parking out front. My first impression when I walked in was how clean it looked. We were greeted and seated right away. They also took our drink orders. Then we were free to get as many plates as we could handle! There was a very large selection to choose from. There was also many desserts, a hibachi station where someone prepares whatever you choose for the hibachi grill, and a sushi area. Some of our favorites were the crab rangoon, pepper steak and chicken, and fried rice. My only complaint is that some of the food wasn't the freshest. It tasted like it had been under the heat lamp for a while. But the fresh food, was great! Someone was always cleaning the buffet area and checking to make sure the food didn't get low. I can't believe I have forgotten to review Queen Buffet. They are new issue in the Franklin Township area located in the strip at the corner of Thompson and Emerson behind where the new Chick-fil-A is going in. I've been several times and they are a solid choice for buffet style Asian cuisine. I think the buffet runs about $18.99 for dinner. I'm not sure what it is for lunch. You can find all of your usual suspects: fried rice, general tso, chicken with broccoli, pepper, steak, and an extended choice of seafood. In addition, you will also find the hibachi grill and a decent selection of sushi. The hibachi area has chicken beef, and I think shrimp. Also, a larger selection of vegetables to go along with it. I forget how I found this place because I live in fishers about 40 minutes away. But this place is so good for so many reasons that I usually visit for lunch once every couple weeks even though it's a 40 minute drive. The buffet is very well stocked and large, and my favorite part is Mongolian Grill where they will make your stirfry for you. This is actually the best china buffet (food quality) on the south and westside BUT price is on the high side! It's a traditional China buffet type of ambience. Everything was very well prepared and the hibachi bar was very good! It's comparable to Yummy Bowl where you pick your own meats, veggies and sauces. We came in on a Saturday around 6PM and there was no wait. I noticed that food was immediately filled back up as soon as it was getting low. I definitely appreciated it because other buffets do not pay as close attention and you're stuck asking and waiting. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The seafood was good and especially salt and pepper prawn (with shells) was close to perfect and very similar to The Journey. I do look forward to rice krispie treats at buffets for my dessert and banana pudding when I go to a buffet. **The Rice Krispie treat somehow had a ton of butter on the outside of it and I actually had to spit it out*. It was very gross!!!! The banana pudding was good though. Considering everything I've said (mostly good) they need to knock a little off the pricing though! One of the better buffets I've had in Indy. I was there around 2 on a Friday. Service was pretty attentive: they cleared plates regularly and made sure our drinks stayed topped off. The buffet itself was very good, but not excellent. One think I noticed was a real sense of restraint with the seasoning. The miso soup was really good and lacked the super sodium content you find at other buffets. The coconut shrimp was lightly coated instead of swimming in sauce. General Tsos was tasty but lacked the crispiness on the outside. They had rice Krispy treats as part of the dessert. I hate to say they were super dry with hardly any marshmallow coating. (Yeah, yeah, I know, it's an American thing, but come on) Most of the buffet fare was really good, but for me, lacked a strong hand with the seasoning. The two stars for me was the hibachi grill and the sushi. You had your choice of 4 proteins (beef, chicken, shrimp and egg) then a mix of lo mein noodles and veggies to throw in. They also had 3 sauces to mix in and a variety of seasonings thrown in, if you want them. Nothing like a plate of made to order Chinese food hot off the grill. The sushi had a nice variety without going over the top. Although it's very simple, the Inari sushi really stood out to me with its simple dressing of a little seaweed and shaved carrot. My wife loves crab legs and that was supposed to be one of the specialties on the buffet. Not impressed! Smallest crab legs I have ever seen. My wife said they were nasty. Small like baby crabs harvested before they were old enough to be caught! My wife said they were just literally disgusting. Crawfish on buffet to and they also lacked flavor according to my brother in law. A dessert table and ice cream as well. A Hibachi grill too! I did try that and it was good. Frog legs too but didn't try them! $18.99/ adults! I would be willing to come back and give it a second chance if I heard they fix the seafood problem. But if they don't pay attention to that, then this place will quickly die at these prices in my opinion! read more

I'm not a huge fan of Chinese buffets, but we decided to give it a shot and I'm glad we did. All the food pans were filled and looked fresh. I really liked everything I tried. I didn't have any dessert. The other people with me didn't like the cakes. They're those prepackaged sheet cakes that aren't very good. But I don't expect gourmet desserts at a Chinese buffet, so I won't hold it against them. Everyone was pleased with their dinners and I would definitely be back. Dishes refilled pretty regularly Cons: lots of "filler" foods. Even on a Saturday with the higher pricing, the food was just okay. A few oysters and mussels but very watery like it had been frozen. Oysters had a very metallic taste that even lemon juice couldn't hide. They have crabs but not crab legs. These crabs are very small and not worth the time and effort to pick through. There were a few shrimp dishes and that was the only saving grace for me. Otherwise, if you are looking for "quality" over quantity, you may not find much of that. If you are looking for quantity and a nice atmosphere- this is your place. I wanted to like it more and they may make changes as they get feedback. read more

We have been here 3 or 4 times since December (2025). The first time we were blown away. Food was delicious, selection was great, hibachi was a nice touch as well...everything was clean. Bathrooms were clean, dining area was clean and everything was just very well kept up with. The service was also great. Each time we've gone since, it has been a little worse, and now we will not be going back at all. The restrooms have signs telling you not to flush toilet paper, so the men's bathroom has feces-covered toilet paper falling out of the trash can and was so disgusting my husband actually threw up his food right there. The women's bathroom wasn't a lot better, just not very clean. The food wasn't all that fresh, and before I even finished my plate I just completely lost my appetite. It cost us $90 for 4 people, two were 13 and 14, and only 2 sodas. The waitress was sporting an earbud and never brought any refills. When my husband finally asked her for one, she couldn't even hear what he said. I was already not happy with the price for the quality of the food or service...my husband paid and then went out to the car. I was more appalled when I got to the car, only to find out the woman behind the counter rudely hollered out "Where's your table?" Like he was trying to leave without paying. All that to say, very disappointed and we are never going back. read more

If I could give negative stars, this is the one place that deserves it. The food was horrible and LUCY the host who served us was incredibly rude. My friend had oysters so he was charged a dinner but she also tried charging me for dinner when I only had lunch. She started rolling her eyes and yelling, getting upset because we tried explaining that it was only one person who had dinner. Also, When my friend was finishing signing his receipt, she snatched the pen from his hand. I asked for a manager and she was almost as unprofessional as her. HORRIBLE FOOD AND HORRIBLE SERVICE. We took our family for the Sunday buffet at lunch and were not disappointed. Everything was fresh and hot and there was a great variety...something for everyone. We didn't try the hibachi grill or sushi bar, but they looked nice. One of our sons was very happy to see crab legs, a favorite of his. Even our granddaughters (3 and 4) enjoyed the food and ate very well. Everyone was friendly and they kept clearing our table as necessary.
