Awesome staff . Feeling GREAT after my blood works . Always clean and friendly staff

Today was my first time going to this place and the customer service there is awful. First of all there's Ipads for checking in and no human being you can talk to, you have to press the button and wait for someone to assist you and even that took long. There was a lady who was trying to ask a question and an employee instantly started to raise her voice at the guest. She was so disrespectful and the lady had an appointment and forgot the code so another employee said "well then how are we supposed to help you?". I agree, that lady should've had her code but how the employee went about the situation was wrong. She had an attitude the whole time this guest was trying to ask questions about her appointment, raised her voice at her and looked annoyed. As I was waiting for my appointment I continued to see workers be disrespectful towards guests. One of the same employees raised their voice at another lady who could barely speak english. If you're working in a job that requires customer service then at least assist the customers nicely. It's not their fault that you chose the wrong job. Absolutely disgusting behavior. read more

Horrible customer service, they're always behind, even with an appointment you always have to wait at least an hour. Staff is super rude, Jasmine is very rude to patients. They don't even give straight answer to people. No air conditioning in the waiting room, only behind the closed doors for the staff!!! I'd give it a zero star if it was possible! Arrived for appointment and found new provider had not sent over paperwork for blood draw. Already fasting 15 hours. I was distressed and trying to figure out next move. Maria found me and together we got what was needed for my provider. You have a gem in Maria who absolutely showed me the Care in Healthcare. She was patient and kind and got the work done. STILL the best Quest Diagnostics in Las Vegas. I go 25 minutes out of my way to go to this center even though there is a Quest 5 min away. It is worth the extra drive. They are so efficient and friendly here! I arrived a little before 6:30 am to find a line of 10 people waiting outside. They unlocked the doors at 6:30 and people started signing in. The two girls at the check-in counter are professional and friendly, they greet you and make sure your paperwork is filled out correctly. I had an appointment for 6:45, which I had previously set up with the Quest call center since their web site appointment scheduling is not very user-friendly. I was literally not even sitting in the waiting area for 3 minutes and then one of the girls called my name and handed me my paperwork. I was asked to sit in a green chair outside of the phlebotomist's room. I waited less than a couple minutes there. I think two people had appointments right before me, and they were in and out in no time. The phlebotomist was Anita, and she was awesome! Very personable, professional, made some small talk, admired my shoes :)) A very pleasant person. Facility is very clean and organized. Bathroom was clean, just no sanitary wipes for urine test. I was in and out before 7am. woo hooo! Let's face it, no one likes to get their blood drawn, no one likes long waits. No complaints from this facility. A+!!!! My only recommendation to others is to make sure you make an appointment! read more

Tomi who answered the phone at this location has been extremely helpful in getting the information that I requested even though I know how busy this place gets after leaving from there. lt's not just the doctors but it's also the staff, Veselina the technician who took me back just minutes after checking in, talk about super quick service. Call me in been waiting for an hour just to be sent back in line because the person can't do a drug test. This is dumb. As soon I get back in line the same lady ask the next guy in line to come in . He says he's here for a drug test too and she tells the guy she can't and to wait in line still waiting in line as I write this . This terrible . Me and the other guy are clearly frustrated for just a piss test. If you don't do Drug test tell me so I can go elsewhere. read more

My Rheumatologist ordered two pages worth of blood tests... and of course, he wanted them done within 24 hours. I usually put off getting any type of blood tests done till' the last minute - or until I can mentally prepare myself for the needle getting stuck in my arm. NOTE: Just two months ago I was hospitalized for 10 days- by the end of my stay, they had blown out every visible Vein I had... then they had to begin using the veins on top of my hands for their blood draws. I was bruised and pained for a good 3 weeks following that hospitalization. When I arrived to Quest, I did not have an appointment. I walked in 30 minutes prior to their closing time and told them I needed my blood work done. I checked myself in on a Tablet, where not even 2 minutes later- I hear my name being called! I instantly start perspiring from being anxious and try to let the lady know that I have a deep rooted fear of Needles being put in to my arm (as a child, I found my Dad dead in the Bathroom floor from a Heroine Overdose), so needed her to be patient with me. She didn't seem irritated by it one bit. In fact, she accommodated me when I needed to sit on my hand (to avoid grabbing her while she's preparing to stick me) and she talked to me to distract me. She used a small needle- as to not blow my vein out again, and within a matter of a couple minutes- it was all over with! The woman's name was Noel. Thanks you NOEL for being understanding and patient- even when I was "that A**h**e" that walked in right before closing time, wanting you to take your time with me. I know where I'll be coming in the future anytime my kids or I need any type of lab work done. read more

This rating is in response to the fact that it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a human representative when you enter this facility. 7:40 am there's not 1 pt in the waiting room. Staff, behind a glass windowed door, can see me but I'm ignored. I have a simple question regarding my upcoming appt today. There are computers with no option to ask staff a question ( no time for the customers inquiry) Since the place is empty I wondered if I checked in as a 'walk in' would it cancel my appt. I don't want to cancel unless I know if changing to a walk in (since I'm early and the place is empty) would move things along. If a staff member cared enough to respond I would be perfectly happy to wait the 1.5 hr for my appt. If that was the recommendation. I've had blood drawn here before, they did a good job no complaints there. But the set up is rude & insulting. I will be looking into my options for further lab studies. I'm convinced this business will not give a hoot about my opinion-- they have clearly demonstrated I am merely a necessary inconvenience to their business model. Ugh. Hoping LabCore or others will be an option for me, my family & friends! I want to be clear the phlebotomists at this location are beyond awesome. Just got home from an appointment at quest diagnostics and I want to say a huge thank you to Cheryl and Helen and another staff member I didn't catch the name of (she was on her break and regardless of that came over and helped me) I fainted and all 3 ladies were quick to help me and so kind. They have separate Quest clinics for drug tests. They should have separate clinics for Covid instead. The wait to get an appointment is arduous. 2 weeks to get an appointment that coincides with my work schedule. When you do get in there is NO ONE TO HELP!! It is all self check in and if there is a problem at all,,,you won't get any help. I knocked on the door to the back offices and the employees don't come out to see what is going on. I was in tears and had to approach an employee coming in from outside to get help. This is un called for. I am a cancer patient and should not have to go this for a blood test . The solution is to get a better care system and send Covid patients somewhere where they can be tested away from the rest of us!the employees are to complacent. The employees don't even make eye contact. There are KIOSKS at the front desk. I've been waiting for 2 hours with no end in sight. The phone line doesn't even allow you to get through to the location to make an appointment. It's utter hell here. This place is a manifestation of everything wrong with the American healthcare system. To top it off, they have a stupid wait-time monitor that only increases in length. It's horrific. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

The results of a 24 hour urine test were reported on MyQuest.com. The Microalbumin Excretion Rate(AER) was reported as 3480. That is an alarmingly high number (normal is less than 20). After some research I found the AER formula, plugged in the numbers and discovered an error. Quest had used 24 minutes instead of 1440 minutes (24 hours is 1440 minutes). I called Quest to explain the error. They admitted the error but insisted my doctor had to call to get it corrected. My trust in Quest is seriously eroded. They failed to find their error after a seriously abnormal result, and then refused to correct it without following some stupid, flawed internal procedure. I can only wonder at the quality of the results from other tests. read more

I don't understand Quest's complete disregard for customer experience. You're a diagnostic center. People come in for drug testing to blood draws to a lot of other scary medical things. Don't expect your patients to be experts. If a lab order isn't clear, why not pick up the phone and call for clarification? It seems they have a monopoly on diagnostic testing in the Vegas Valley so avoiding them is next to impossible. The bathroom was disgusting. People collect samples in there. Keep it tidy. The thing that really grinds my gears is the totally lack of compassion. Having worked in the medical field and having my own experience with medical issues, a little compassion goes a long, long way. read more

I am ONLY giving this place 1 star because I HAVE to. The staff here is absolutely horrible. Terrible. I wish you all could feel how disguted I am with this place. They are rude, one of the caretakers literally got into a disagreement with one customer IN THE LOBBY, then began to talk to other customers waiting in the lobby OUTLOUD about the customer she was originally arguing with. She was short and rude to every person that she spoke with. The women that help me was very short as well, cutting me off and closing the door when I tried to ask questions. The staff in this building was consistently rude to every single person. I can hear her yelling at one of the nurses about my question as I type, and I'm in the lobby they are in the back. Terribly unprofessional. Someone please fix this major staffing issue, no one deserves to be treated this bad by literally every staff member in the building. EVEN ELDERS? Come on now? For a diagnostic lab, we sure get in and out quickly. First time here we came early as possible and there were already about 5 people ahead of us. Today it's 10:45 and there are 2 people here. I was called maybe 3 minutes after signing in!! Jessica saw me on this visit. She was very sweet and personable. The draw was painless and super fast. She even thanked me for my service, which was very kind. Literally had an appointment for 12 pm at this location. Before my appointment time I received a notification and a reminder for my appointment that was at 12 with the address Included. I go to the clinic listed in the text only to find out after having given a urine sample and filled out forms it was the wrong location as they were trying to make me pay again. I finally head over to the right location and wait over an hour for my name to be called since my appointment time wouldn't allow me to check in. I explained to the nurses what happened and I'm standing there with a urine sample in hand literally labeled quest. And they refused to take me in on an error that wasn't my fault. I paid 280 dollars already to have the tests preformed and due to their system error in notifying me my appointment time and location I wasted my entire afternoon waiting. There was no one I could speak to in person either. Absolutely ridiculous. I will be disputing the credit charge with my credit company since they denied me my right to getting my labs taken when I already had appointment. read more

Took my anxious 12 yo twins here to get a blood draw today and I can't tell you enough great things about our Phlebotomist Norma. She is a true professional. I've had horrible experiences at other Quest locations in the past and was dreading this appointment. I even asked my doctor if I could go to a different lab. .... But I had a great experience today. The wait was reasonable and I was seen within 10 mins of my appointment time. The facility was clean but didn't smell like antiseptic. The staff was respectful and polite even though they were busy. Shawna did my blood draw and she was great. She answered my questions quickly and efficiently so I was satisfied and the next patient wasn't left waiting too long. She had a gentle touch and was very pleasant. The only recommendation I have is maybe there should be some orange juice. After fasting and then a large blood draw I felt pretty light headed for a few minutes. read more

This is my favorite quest. I made an appt and was in and out in less than twenty minutes. Very professional. I have had horrific experiences at the quest closer to work (Charleston and Rancho) so I make the effort to drive here. Very clean and incredibly nice staff. I had an appointment at your 761 Quest location this morning at 11:15am. I went to the desk and the young lady there , sitting furthest from the enter door close to where they do the lab work, asked if she could help me so I went to her and told her my name spelled it out twice, gave my date of birth, and after looking she said I did not have an appointment, I knew I did and told her, but she said no, I asked if she could check to see where my appointment was but she said no. I went out to my daughters car, and after being on the phone for over 20mins trying to talk to a human, they told me my appointment WAS at 7861, we were both upset. I missed my blood work after this happened as we were way to late. Maybe she was having a bad morning but she was VERY rude. You need to tell her to respect her elders. Front desk lady was rude to all patients she was checking in. Not helpful to any of them. Watched a man who was just dropping off a sample, have to wait for over 15 minutes before he was even stalled up to the counter!!!! Sent a patient away because he had his lab order on his email and no one here had an email he could send it to so they could print it?! Horrible customer service! Mumbling under her breath about not being able to pronounce someone's es name so she can't call them up. read more

It's not just this location it's all of them. I've been to three different quest locations to get my blood work done and they all three have lost the three most important tests that I needed done. That's a waste of $60 in co-pays plus another $60 in my doctor co-pays. I can't believe just how horrible medical has become in this city, state and country. Thanks for nothing Obama read more
