My appointment was for a Friday at 12:30 in the afternoon. I checked in via the mobile text message, approximately 15 minutes prior to my appointment. When I walked into Labcorp, I let the team member know that I checked in via the mobile method. They took all of my information. My appointment was on time! Came in for some lab work , I had previously made an appointment and came in early. They were not too busy and they did take a bit of time and I was considering leaving. As I went to ask about delay I was told it was my turn. Staff apologized and I was able to get test done. This is my experience with Labcorp in Kissimmee, Florida in the past 2 years. I have been to this office for about 4 times. One time, I was waiting in the waiting room 2 hours past my appointment. I found out they missed me though I had checked in with them on arrival. On the other 3 times, I waited about 20 minutes on average. I usually receive my test results the next day. However, it took 14 days for me to receive my result after my last test. I think it is unacceptable. Labcorp is the office approved by my health insurance, or I would choose Quest Diagnostics, which I used to use if I had the choice. read more

I had an appointment at 4:15 so I arrived at 4:00, when I approached the desk I told him my appointment time and he said "good luck with that, we're very behind. We have walk ins and appointments." So I asked how long the wait would be and before I could finish he cut me off and said "I can't even give you an estimate because we're so behind. Probably a few hours." What's the point of an appointment if you're going to be treated as a walk in? Just don't accept appointments and do walk in only so people don't need to leave work for a service they can't even get! This was another great LabCorp location! I arrived early for appointment and they took me right in. No issues at all. The lab tech was one of the best techs I have ever had. When he put the needle in, I never felt a thing. I had heard of people saying this can happen with good techs, but never experienced it myself until now. He was fast, efficient, polite, friendly, professional and made it an overall quick and easy experience. The location is easy to find off west Charleston. The inside is very clean. The receptionist and intake person were both very friendly. I would definitely return to this location for future appointments! read more

I highly recommend scheduling an appointment as they are super busy. BUT the chunky fat male nurse who "attempted" to draw my blood notice no fluid was coming out after initially sticking me with the needle. Rather than taking the needle out completely the nurse inched it out and shoved it back in more aggressively. He did that 3 different times trying to get blood out. The last attempt I jumped and told him to remove the needle. Luckily another nurse came in to attempt again but noticed my veins were dehydrated. Now you would think the first nurse would've noticed that after the first attempt rather than stabbing me with a fucking needle 4 damn times. . I will be reporting him to LabCorp for that. read more

I love when people don't make an appointment and then complain they have to wait- it is SO simple to schedule an appointment online. I made an appointment for a fasting weekend morning blood draw which, shockingly, was very helpful for coming in at a high-demand time slot on a high-demand day. The parking lot is pretty big so that wasn't an issue even on a weekend morning. Check-in is simple at 2 self-serve kiosks, the waiting area wasn't enormous but did the job. The two people working were absolutely hustling to manage both the front desk and actual blood draws- seriously, they more than earned their paychecks and could've used double the staff for the amount of patients there. My lab tech was very kind about my fairly embarrassing needle anxiety and overall I had a very positive experience at this location. read more

This is the second time that I've been to this location for routine bloodwork and I was happy to see Anna again, because she is so gentle. Every other place I've ever been to they sit me up in a chair, and I end up passing out. Anna, has me lay down, and for some reason I don't feel a thing! This is the last time I will ever go here. The collection was for my 2 year old. Never a fun experience. Had two orders for bloodwork each from a different provider. Wanted to have my daughter get both done so she would only need to get poked this one time. One order I brought with me and the other sent electronically. The one that was electronic was never completed. Because of the front staff not doing their job! They did the draw for one and told me that everything was finished and they got all they needed for the tests. I get the results today and the second set were not there. My husband went in and asked if the second order was done in the first place and they said no, not enough blood was drawn because the tech WAS NEVER GIVEN THE SECOND ORDER by the front desk. The fat African American man with a beard, whatever your name is, your diva attitude is crap and you should learn how to do your freaking job! You are combative every time we've seen you, you're sarcastic and now you completely disregarded an entire order for blood! You literally didn't do your job and when asked what happened, the tech that did the draw said it was your fault. You should be fired for your negligence, anyone coming for pediatric draw or bloodwork in general, do not come here! read more

Went here for an employment drug test as I was told this is the only location open til 5pm. Everything else closes at 3pm.. There's an ipad for self check in and the chairs were socially distant in the waiting room. The front desk was nice and able to multitask the amount of people walking in and out. I hesitate doing this review because I selfishly want to keep this to myself however they deserve to be recognized! I've been getting my labs done here a few times a year for a few years. I have to be at work at 6:30am so their hours are awesome. Seriously I am able to walk in usually 5:50am ish and I'm out within 15 minutes! The staff is so nice ( Ana was my amazing girl today ) but I have never had a problem with anyone the opposite, seriously! I arrived Saturday morning at 6:15 am without an appointment and the waiting room was already full! After waiting a minute I asked the front desk staff a question that I am certain they are asked a hundred times a day: "Do I have to check in at the kiosk if I don't have an appointment?" To which she smiled and said yes. Kiosk directs you to show your drivers license then less then a minute later I am checked in with a message that I will be sent a text when they are ready for me. (I had been to a Labcorp in a different city and all my information was in the system and correct so that made check-in super fast!). I went to my car as it was standing room only inside. 25 minutes I received a text to come in into the waiting area for my name to be called shortly. Less than 5 minutes later my name was called and 5 minutes after that the front desk had registered all the lab information and took the expected payment. I took a seat and 5 Minutes after that I was called back for my lab work. The tech was cheerful despite being obviously crazy busy- apparently 2 techs called in sick on a Saturday. She was able to instantly easily find my notoriously difficult vein and I barely noticed the needle going in. 6 tubes of blood in less than 2 minutes, expert phlebotomist and genuinely kind service with a smile! All this on a super busy Saturday morning without an appointment. This location has their act together- I will happily come again when I need lab work done! read more

Another great experience at labcorp! I have been to their sunset location and this was my first visit to Charleston location. Self check in on the kiosk was easy and before I even sat down, I was called up to submit my stuff. She took me in right away, blood drawn and out the door in less than 15 mins! Called to try and set an appointment and the message said walk in s welcome. Scheduled time from work to go there a little after 4Pm, as the housrs of operaiton had them in office until 5:00pm. Walked in to try and get the lkabwork done, and they said they dont take walk ins after 4pm. It was literally minutes after 4pm! Fail Labcorp! Stay away from this lab they are terrible. read more

Set up an appt online, fasted and showed up early. When they called me back for triage the employee was grilling me about my test request rather then helping me submit a request as I've done before. She tells me I HAVE to see a doctor for a test which I knew wasn't true. She had zero empathy was smiling and laughing at me as she denied me the medical test I needed. She was also very argumentative insisting I had to see a doctor first. I'm pretty sure you can order tests online without a doctor, she was being intentionally difficult and really enjoying herself about it. I was able to order a test from their competitor without a doctors request, and without being ridiculed and denied so I have a new test place no thanks to labcorp. I think it's just a lazy employee on a power trip that relished being mean to customers rather then being helpful but what can you do except shop with your pocketbook. read more

Went in for a drug test this morning. Started off fine but I had to stay and pee a few more times bc my specimens wasn't enough. No problem. The problem was the staff. The big fat receptionist at the front desk that came from the back with his stank attitude and catty ways. I was not even talking to this person and he went out of his way to hop in a conversation between me and the little Filipino worker. He told me that if I proceeded with my test he would fail me bc he could do that and when I asked for my paper back he shut the window on tm and called me a dirty hoe. Asked for a sup and was told I'll give you her number bc she ain't here. Never got her number and I'm almost sure when I call they'll try to take up for him but I'll definitely never go back and I hope to never encounter him again. read more

Overall it's a pretty well ran machine love the extra hours and weekends! the only place in town as far as I know most of front desk is exceptionally rude but I am so used to it I just don't pay attention to it. Nurses are generally very nice, attenative, and do a good job with blood draw. wish the front desk staff learned some manners. read more

I love the check-in process here. There are two express checkin machines that scan your ID and insurance card. My information pre-populated as I scanned my cards. All I had to do was to confirm my info on the screen. Since there is 8 people maximum capacity, they ask you to wait outside after checkin. You can opt to receive a text when it's your turn. I was a walk-in on a sat morning. The wait was 15' from checkin time to be inside. That was impressive imo since there was a good amount of patients in the lobby and waiting outside. They do have a good system going here. There are three rooms to collect blood samples, and two restrooms for urine samples. Front desk person and lab technicians sound nice and pleasant to patients. Parking was plenty. I believe that this is the only labCorp location that opens on the weekend. read more

I came down to do my annual routine blood work. Scheduling my appointment online was super easy. This location had more appointments available than other locations in town. Upon arriving, I had the option to check in through my phone and wait in my car until called. Once called in, I probably waited an additional 10 minutes before being called back. The blood draw itself took less than 5 minutes. The tech was quick and friendly. I enjoyed my visit. Even though it was a bit of a drive, I would go down to this location again. read more

This lab Corp is whack. Been to a few other location and this has to be the worse. Waited over an hr patiently. Got called in, about to get Urine drug test for work. Another lady came in started yelling at the my lab lady who was in the process to get my urine and tells her she needs to stop immediately bc another lady is first. My lab lady asked if she can finished w me first but this rude coworker said "no, you need to stop now!" Here I am sitting in a little corner awaiting again. Let me hold my urine again for another 2 hrs and see how it goes. Disgusting! My lab lady is nice and does not deserve to be spoken rudely to. Will never come back to this place again. My nice lab lady name is Ann. Rude lady in think her name is Sugay or something like that. Rude lady! learn to be respectful to your coworkers and have some patients. Sunday morning and this place is packed. About 25 people here and nobody is going in for their lab work and nobody is coming out. I was here 20 minutes before they finished up with a single patient and still they called nobody in. Obviously they are piss poor at staffing. Kenisha Parker is amazing and she's seriously the only reason why I go to this location. She's always very helpful and tries her best to get me in and out due to my crazy work schedule. Did a walk in for a blood draw on 10.28.24 in the morning. i checked in and waited for approx. 10mins and was called. I was given a cup for a urine sample and told to drop it in the designated tray when completed. While giving the sample I noticed my name was not on the cup which I thought was odd. I thought I would address with the technician. I was called for the blood draw by an elderly blonde who asked me identity questions and proceeded to get ready for my blood draw. I mentioned that my cup sample didn't have my name and she said " your name has to be there either on top or on the side". i said I could be mistaken but I looked all over. She said no it is there. She pushed the needle in my arm to the tight, not in the middle like everyone that have done previously in my life. She couldn't get blood and kept pushing it. I flinched because it was really hurting. She said she couldn't get a good stream and asked if I had drank lots of water. She then grabbed my other arm and I asked what she was doing. She said she would try the other arm. I said I had never had that happen and I told her I was uncomfortable. She asked if I wanted someone else and I said yes. A black bearded gentleman came in and I recounted my experience to him while he did my blood draw. He was finished really quick and it was pain free. I could see that he didn;t want to respond to my complaints bout the other tech and I just followed up with him regarding the name on my urine sample. He assured me that he would take care of it. In conclusion, I have been to that location a few times and always had a pleasant experience. I will never let that blonde assist me again though, I hope that is not a normal thing for her. read more

If I was able to give a negative rating I would. I had an order for STAT labs and drove to Vegas from Pahrump (60 miles) to get them drawn. Before I came, I checked the hours on line and called the automated line. Got there just before 1 pm and the doors were locked. Tried to call the number for that location-no answer. A lady came out of the employee doors, and I asked to confirm the hours. She said--"we decided to close early today." She then got in her car and left. I work in health care and am sickened at the behavior of the staff. People's lives are literally on the line-and to have such a disregard is dangerous (and a liability). I contacted my insurance company and was able to get an approval for Quest to draw the labs due to the issues we had. I would never recommend this location-and as a health care provider, will discourage our company from using/contracting with Labcorp. read more
