From the outside: plenty of parking, plenty of gas venues and attendees. Pleasant sitting area with a great open field view. From the inside: plenty of inside seating, clean. Enough registers to keep the line moving, along with an associate who helps customers check out and cash lotteries. Always very welcoming and helpful. Wide variety of convenient store items and a large refrigerated section. Now for the self serve part, I give you a 10 of 10. Plenty of sodas, juices, icees, coffees, hot chocolates and even a milkshake section for those who don't want to make a trip down to sonic. The sandwich bar is always well stocked and the service is as quick as could be. This place is great. But if you're new to the area, the location is dangerous if driving. The workers making the food were rude and obviously don't care about their job. I also asked for a Mango Smoothie and it tasted nothing like mangoes. I also asked for whipped cream on top of it and they didn't put any whipped cream. It was probably one of the worst things I've ever drank in my entire life. Wasn't too happy, took almost 10 minutes to get just $10.00 worth gas, i asked the attendant why only 2 guys were working the pumps (about 20 pumps!) , he said it's the store managers opinion that only 2 people are needed per shift!, of course i knew right away it's a sham, the manager puts less help outside and more $$ into his pocket ! I've even seen 1 guy working all pumps while the other was inside,or somewhere else!, wtf?...that's no way to run a business, hey quick chek hire more people and don't be afraid to not get your 'bonuses' for having less help! Very accessible gas station with many pumps and a clean store. Great spot to get some gas and grab a sandwich and be on your way. Gas is the same price whether it's cash or credit which is a plus. Employees are courteous. Good vacuums to clean out your car. Free air for your tires as well. read more

I love this quick check. Anyone else who writes the place is a pigsty on a grand opening obviously has no idea what happens at a grand opening. Since I totally understand, opening several QSR's. Your lucky if your feet are not cemented to the floor after it's over from the mess. This is just the way it is dude. Anyway I am glad the kids have somewhere to go where they can be easily monitored. If you don't like it then go to the 7-11 since they have plenty of parking and are not in the middle of a grand opening. It's incredible to me that people write a bad review about a place for being busy. Anyway !! This place is great from start to finish. Those of you who are not so uptight will notice The great sandwich area and snack section. They also have a do it yourself shake machine. This was my first time at a Quick Chek. It was a Sunday at 1:00pm. I'm was not aware of the ordering procedure so I observed others from afar. I then used the touch screen to order a Tuscan Veggie Melt and a Strawberry Lemonade. A receipt printed out which I took to the check out area which was also confusing for a first timer. There was a line for people buying groceries but I only had a receipt/ticket with me. An employee showed me how to use the self check out kiosk which accepted cash. My original ticket stated to come back and pick up after I pay so that's what I did. I received my drink from the cafe section and my sandwich from Sub section. There are tables and a counter indoors and around 8 tables outside, where I sat. The six inch meal was a bit small in terms of width with not much more to it than the bread but it was only $3.00. The drink was over-priced due to the enormous use of ice cubes. I went back for a Dr. Pepper "refill". You might not want to check out the nutritional value of the subs on the official website before or after eating. read more

Great place to eat and lots of excess parking for the crowded William Paterson parking lot and real low price for gas which makes this place my go to destination for lunch. I never thought anything could be better than Wawa until i discovered this place nearby. Their computer order system is unique and efficient, and the variety is far through the roof at this place. read more

The gas price is the lowest in town. When it opened, it was really disorganized and sandwiches took a really long time but now they have their act together and the best cheap sandwiches for miles. No competition with Subway or the other national chain. read more

I was very disappointed in the sandwich I got there today. It was my first, and last, time getting one from them. I ordered a 6 inch turkey. I was surprised at how light it was when it was handed to me, so I opened it up when I got to my car. There was very little meat to it, I counted 3 slices. There was more filler to it, lettuce &a onions in my case, than actual body of the sandwich. I know why they make you pay for it before they make it & give it to you, cause I wouldn't have taken it if I hadn't already paid for it. The sandwiches at Time Out Cafe on valley road are a much better deal. It's a longer sandwich and they pile on the meat. And you get a free drink, all for the same price. It seems every time I've gone here the only checkouts open are the "self-service" ones. I also wanted to purchase a lottery ticket which required a human anyway. I and it seemed others also needed help with the self checkout. I don't find any of this "convenient". Maybe if I was just buying coffee and paying with a debit card it would be OK but can't we at least have one cash register operated by a human?????? read more

Four stars...didn't award five stars for my own personal not so serious reasons :) (would like the coffee to be hotter and more sandwich/wrap specials, the breakfast sandwiches don't taste as "just made" as they did when they first opened)...those are my only complaints....Employees are super nice and greet you with a warm Good Morning or Hello.....sandwiches are very very tasty (will definitely try the soup soon). I go to this quick chek every now and then and have never had a problem until today. My boyfriend and I, both minorities, went to this quick chek to get sandwiches. Ordered the sandwiches, everything is good, until we get to the registers. If you go to this location often, you know that sometimes these lines get long, in which the employee behind the counter will go to the far register to take customers. Today, when we went to the register to pay for our food, we waited in line with our receipt and then went to one of the self checkouts. This employee named Joshua decided to watch us check out instead of taking care of the long line behind us. At first we thought he was just walking around checking everyone's check out to make sure no one needed help. Nope. He stared us down the entire time we were checking out. We did nothing suspicious. Just ordered our sandwiches and went to the self check out. The rest of the patrons were white. I never use the race card, but why watch us instead of everyone else? Especially when there is a long line of impatient customers behind us. While waiting for our food we looked back to see if he was watching everyone else like he watched us. Nope. Went back to work as usual. Gave this 2 stars because our food was amazing. Otherwise, I would give it one star. read more
