I was so disappointed and tried to untangle it myself, but couldn't manage to get it untangled due to the thinness of the chain. After nearly 5 years of not wearing my wedding ring I popped in to Quick Fix Jewelry to see if they could resize my wedding ring set. I was immediately greeted by a young woman who was kind and let me know the jeweler would be with me momentarily. She offered my daughter a lollipop which earned them an 5 star rating in her book! The jeweler came out, checked my ring size, let me know the cost and his wife wrote up my ticket. They said it might be ready by the end of the day (Saturday) or Monday at the latest. We were in and out within 10 minutes. I received a call about 2 hours later letting me know my ring was ready! When I came by my ring was perfectly sized, polished and sparkling like it was brand new! Amazing family run business! You can tell they have pride in ownership and enjoy their customers! Do not come here LOL. I came to get my sunglasses fixed because one of the screws on the sunglasses's arms broke off and I needed to get it replaced. I went here yesterday and he told me it would take 30 mins to fix. 30 mins later I came and he had his feet up all relaxed and I assumed it was done so I asked if it was ready. He rushed over to see if the glue was finished drying and it wasn't. He then lashed out on me for "rushing him" and told me to come back tomorrow, I was appalled. I had driven 45 mins to get here and waited an additional 30 mins for it to be fixed just for him to tell me to come back tomorrow. Fine, I go back the next day and there were smudges and residue on my sunglasses from the repair and I asked him if those marks come off and a lady handed me a napkin to wipe it off. He then "jokingly" said "why did you give that to him, those are extra charge!" And that's when I was outraged that I couldn't even get a napkin for the inconvenience I had gone through. Do not come here, it was $60 for the repair and I am NOT satisfied with the result at all. Giving 2 stars because he did return my money, before that, he would've got no stars. I don't like doing negative reviews but I feel like people should know. I brought my glasses here to be repaired. The bridge had broken off my lens. I was told it'd be no problem. Nobody asked about what type of material my glasses were made of and I'm no expert. I had to pre-pay for my repair, which I should've known that was suspicious. When I went to pick up my glasses, he said that he could not guarantee the repair because my glasses are titanium and the weld may break off. He was right about that. He also told me that nobody around here repairs titanium glasses and that he did his best. I noticed a burn mark where he attempted to weld AND the bridge was welded one side higher than the other. The weld did not hold at all. It came off the next day. I had already decided I'd be taking my glasses elsewhere to be repaired. I called the shop to request a refund on the repair. He said, "I told you that I could not guarantee repair." I then said to him that he told me that after the fact. Had he told me that from start, I wouldn't have left my glasses there for repair. He asked me to come by and he'd repair them again. I told him no and that I'd like a refund. He gave me a bit of attitude but eventually did return my money. I took my glasses to World Optic in Fullerton and they did a beautiful repair. I have attached a pic of repair after it broke off again. We took in a broken chain to have it soderd and fixed but when we got it back the chain was 3 inches longer and the chain looked dissimilar. We questioned it and he got very defensive and said that the metal stretched out and sent us out of the store. We took it to another jewler who said that is impossible. The issue here is that we were not told what really happened, if he couldn't fix it or had to replace the chain and explained that to us, but instead he lied through his teeth. My boyfriend and I are younger and felt as though he took advantage of this like we are some sort of idiots, he even tried to give us a discount when he "fixed" it like he was doing us a favor. Completely untrustworthy I would never allow anyone I know to go to an untrustworthy jeweler. Came here to get a broken bracelet fixed that had a link that broke so was disconnected in the middle. The person that helped me was honest about the fix saying that most likely I'll be able to see where the fix was on the bracelet (rose gold super thin). The bracelet wasn't crazy expensive so the fix would have been cheaper than buying a new one so I went ahead with it. Had my wedding band and engagement ring resized. They were able to do the job on the spot. I was invited to watch the process in the back, which was very interesting. They have a laser welder, so the rest of the ring's metal doesn't get scorched in the process. After resizing and welding, they had a 3 part cleaning process, 2 solutions, steam blaster, and something with vibrations to really clean off every last bit of buildup. It's a mom amd pop shop with a smaller footprint, but they really have all the tools and technology to do the job right, and to do it fast. The last time I had my ring resized, I had to wait a week to get the ring back, and the jeweler showed me the diamond's GIA number upon receiving the ring, and also when returning it to me. I asked about whether they did that here, but since they did the entire job right on the spot, it was unnecessary. The pricing here was definitely more than the last time I had it resized, but it was done right on the spot, and it's been a few years so I guess that's inflation. The ring came out looking like a beauty. I didn't notice until later that the back was not completely filed smooth, but I'm still very happy with the whole process and the state of the ring. I remember the owner also telling me if there are any welding issues to come back, so I imagine he'll take care of it if I stop by in the near future.
