I had an old sprinkler pipe that had corroded and broken off at the valve. It was a difficult repair because the pipe was very old, and there was the possibility of damaging the remainder of the pipes. I called Quick-Flo and Phillip responded immediately, and was at my house in 20 minutes. I was very impressed with the amount of thought and planning Phillip exercised in the repair. He discussed the risks involved by the age of the pipes, and designed a repair that would be easy to service in the future if more pipes failed. I requested a quote from Phillip V. (owner) back in May 2020. He was kind enough to come out, safely during the pandemic, and provide me a reasonable estimate. However, given the uncertainty of the time, we decided to hold off on the project. I finally contacted him in early July (less than 2 months later) to let him know we wanted to move forward. He said he had no time to which I said that was not an issue as we would wait since we liked him and his price. He proceeded to go on and say that, no matter what (time waited), he no longer wanted the job. This seems extremely unprofessional to me. I understand not being able to drop everything and do it now, but when I said anytime, he should have worked with me as opposed to brushing me off. I can't speak for his work as none was ever done, but I am very disappointed with his business etiquette. Philip came to help me with a broken U-bend under a bathroom sink. As he worked away on the project it became more and more clear that the original plumbers had cut corners to get the sink in place. Phillip ended up having to take the wall out behind the sink, and the project, which we thought would take an hour or so ended up taking nearly the whole day. My shower drain was clogged and I sent a yelp inquiry. Quick-Flo Plumbing responded to my inquiry within a couple of minutes and was able to come over within an hour. Phil came to fix my toilet fairly quickly and was able to get it unclogged. Unlike other plumbers who had fixed it recently, he told me what he thought was the problem, which is that there is too much wax on the ring the toilet is sitting on and that that could cause toilet paper and other things to get stuck on it. He knew this because wax got stuck on the auger he used to fix it. I'd highly recommend him. Oh, his price was reasonable, too. read more
