Holy poo! My neighborhood bodega is better than your neighborhood bodega! For reals. Sure the e for your typical convenience store merch. But, they've also got made-to-order tacos (for brekkie, lunch, & dinner), sandwiches, salads, and more. Great selection of grab & go meals. Many beers on tap and a coffee shop. Everyone who works here is always so happy! I love coming here for a quick bite, coffee, or a beer.

The Tacos here are AMAZING. Very juicy and full of flavor, and really big for the price. It's a convenience store, but, the chicken and al pastor tacos are to die for. Service is excellent, and the ambiance is as if you were at any gas station, but this one is very clean and vibrant. They also have beers on tap.

This place has a cool vibe. Nice to grab a coffee and go sit outside. I ordered a hot chai latte, which I enjoyed and a key lime pie. The key lime pie was ok. The people are friendly. It's nice because you can grab some grocery items while you're at it. I would definitely come back here in the future.

This place is sooo cute! Like a restaurant and gas station in one. Came here for breakfast and the sandwich on a bagel and Carmel iced coffee were delicious! The lady at the counter wasn't super nice but it was also busy. I will definitely be coming here again!

Quickie Pickie is a local gem! My husband & I had a long wait for Paper Boy -- the entire front patio was full of people waiting, so we decided to go elsewhere to wait. To our delight, we stumbled upon Quickie Pickie across the street and I'm SO happy we did! We got some bottled water and electrolytes to quench our thirst & stay hydrated in the Austin summer heat. Then, we decided to try an avocado taco as a tie me over! One word: WOW. The taco was fresh, jam-packed and absolutely deliciousssss! It was so good, I thought about changing our plans and said, "We might as well do brunch here!" We decided to get another taco and tried the potato, egg, cheese taco and added pico de gallo! Another yummy choice that was filled with all kinds of taco goodness. I have never seen a taco this filled before -- it should be the standard of all tacos in Austin! The salsa is fresh, authentic, and they also have another unique choice that is on the sweeter side. Also, we had the raspberry matcha and it was fantastic! To top it all off, the customer service was excellent! They ladies were so sweet and kind. And there are options to sit inside in the a/c or outside in a covered area that has some fans! Quickie Pickie seems unassuming, yet will give you an amazing mom & pop type of local experience and fresh, flavorful food + you can get your convenience store needs -- all in one stop! I'm excited to try more of their tacos, we'll definitely be back!!

This little spot is great. Everything I had here was wonderful. My favorite was the fried avocado taco with honey habanero salsa. That salsa is what dreams are made of. The staff were very nice as well. 5 out of 5. I will for sure be back!!

Are you looking for a place you can grab absolutely whatever you need for the day? This is it! This local store has it all! Starting with Atx vibes. They offer coffee bar, groceries, outdoor sitting, brews & friendly employees. This cute little spot is located right in the heart of downtown Austin! If you are looking to experience Authentic Austin Culture, stop in and grab something. I promise, you'll keep going back. Support your Austin locals.. Coffee was fire(amazing) btw.

The food was alright. My sandwich bread was burnt so I could only eat half of my meal. Not good for what I paid.

Had a good hot chocolate, but the chicken taco was gross. Tasted slightly off and later my stomach was off.

Apparently, not realizing this page already existed. Anyway, covering all my bases and doing a review here as well. Note: I've also suggested an edit for the duplicate businesses. Ok now that is out of the way. Review time: I really love this location so much. The store is huge with wide aisles making it easy to navigate compared to the smaller stores. Even if it's crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon you can still get to the items you need with ease. The store is still very clean and of course modern since the rebuild. Employees are friendly. The shelves are stocked fully 99.999% of the time. I live extremely close to the East 7th Street store (5 min away) and opt for this location time and time again.

I love that they have a parking garage so if it's pouring down with rain, one doesn't get drenched trying to get one's vehicle with a basket load of groceries. On the ground floor, there is True Texas BBQ with ample seating. One can take the elevator or escalater up to the second floor to the supermarket. On the escalater, there is one side for you and the other side for your trolly of groceries. I have abandoned my neighborhood HEB and now patronize this one at 2400 S. Congress Ave.

Contrary to another review, they usually have fresh fruit on hand; bananas in a basket and prepared fruit cups. They have a fair selection of beer, wine, soft drinks and coffees. They have sandwiches and other prepared food (e.g. giant $4 burritos) in the cooler. One time I had to ask for toilet paper and the guy brought it out from the back room. I suppose it took up too much space on the shelf. This is the alternative to Royal Blue, which has even higher prices, although Royal Blue makes some food in-house. On the whole, I prefer Second Street because Royal Blue has a weird vibe and some weird brands and this place is a regular store.

Honestly unremarkable. An independent convenience store that knows it can charge more because of where it is. The staff were friendly enough, but the stock was kind of limited. That might be due to so many people being in town that week but they seemed to run out of drinks fairly quickly. It's also no fault of the store but it's worth mentioning right in front of their doors seems to be a popular hangout for Austin's homeless. I don't think we managed a single visit here without being asked for change. If you need a quick snack they are in a great location, just don't expect an overly pleasant visit.

For a dollar and some change it's a great size! As I noticed other people gathering around the hot food line, I couldn't help but decide on getting a plate. I picked up the ranchero bisteak and chicken Tinga and for my two sides, I decided on the plantains and nopales. Both of the meats I decided on were extremely delicious in flavor and the beef was exceptionally tender. I got red and green salsa and it appears that the red salsa is a tad bit creamy, which is not something I've had many times before. It was unique and extremely tasty. As for the green salsa, I have yet to try, but I am sure it won't disappoint. I do want to give this place praise because I have passed it up before, but it is not a place to be looked over. There's so many other goodies in here that you won't find at a regular grocery store so it's definitely worth coming inside and checking out especially if you just want something to do. The people were so nice exceptional customer service. There is seating if you want to eat inside and they were playing good music. I almost forgot to mention how exceptional the sides were. Often times people mess up nopales, but these were delicious.
