Yeah 3 is pretty fair. They have a huge menu list which is cool, but I have a feeling a lot of the milk teas taste the same, pretty weak flavoring and I've had a couple different ones now. Bob also hard and not very warm or syrupy

We were craving boba late at night and this was open near us. I love how they are open until midnight but still offer quality drinks and snacks. Quickly has been around for a long time and their menu seems to get bigger and bigger. They offer so many drinks and snacks! The staff was friendly. We were greeted right when we came in. You order on the self order kiosk but you can also order online for pick up. It was pretty busy one hour before closing but our drinks still came out very fast.

Matcha brown sugar boba latte, first few sips I was thirsty so didnt taste anything. Noticed bobas were more chewy than I'm used to for boba. Like almost takes too long to chew even for boba standards. A few more sips, thought the flavor was odd. Went back home, took some sips, could taste powdery for some of the sips. Took some more later, tasted better lol. At the end of the day, its boba me likey. Flavor was never bad, was odd once but never disgusted me. I was probably just thirsty today that boba felt too much for me and too chewy, I did pay for 75c boba so idk if that added on to already boba or if all the boba was that 75c I paid for. Popcorn chicken, one of the chicken had hair fried into it, kinda gross. Besides that tho, tasted normal like popcorn chicken. My dad said its the best. Curry fishball, when I hear curry fishball, the one that comes to mind is not of dried fishballs. WHERE IS THE SAUCE. I even asked the lady to get more curry sauce and when she came back, there was like 1% more. Fishballs themselves also tasted alright. If I were to describe it, it tasted like it had a tofu skin loosely wrapped around it. Extra Theres board games, used to have chess (not anymore). They have Jenga, candyland, monopoly, connect four. I dont remember the rest. We played connect four and the game was good, no problems or missing pieces. Theres dine in (during covid it was just pick up only, but its dine in again) Self order is available I used to go to this place a lot as a kid and had a lot of memories here. But even with those memories, I can still tell everything I had had a problem or low quality 3/5

This is an order of tiny but expensive Tofu.

The interior has that classic, old-school Asian restaurant vibe, almost bordering on a tiki bar feel. I'd heard about Genghix from locals for a long time, and now I understand the appeal. We started with the chicken lettuce cups and seared butterfish--both were excellent, and our 11-year-old especially loved the lettuce cups. For entrées, we ordered seafood Pad Thai, chicken fried rice, honey walnut prawns, Mongolian chicken, and steamed rice. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and easily held its own against some of our go-to spots. We had plenty of leftovers and they tasted great for lunch the next day. Overall, it was a really enjoyable meal, and we're already planning to go back and explore more of the menu. It's extensive and can feel a bit overwhelming, but if you're in the mood for Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or Vietnamese cuisine, you'll definitely find something that hits the spot.

This is the restaurant of choice for my wife's family gatherings, and she has a pretty big family,…read moreso we're here quite a bit. To be honest, Fusion used to be terrible, and I used to absolutely hate coming here. Food was slow in coming, what came out was often cold, the dining room was loud, and service was impersonal, at best. On one visit, half the menu was unavailable, requested silverware was crooked, and numerous glasses, bowls, and plates were chipped or damaged. On another visit, I saw multiple families sneak out of the restaurant, walk to McDonald's across the plaza, and smuggle food back in to tide them over until their orders came. After a while, I wasn't alone in meeting the decree of, "come to Fusion on Saturday," with a groan. However, when HL Peninsula opened in Castro Valley and established itself as a threat to Fusion's business, it served as a wake-up call. Food immediately got better (from "below-average" to "know what to order and you'll be fine"), the speed of service improved, and food temperature became consistent and proper. It's not QUITE a "different restaurant" feel, and there are still some negatives. It's still loud and service could still be better (there have been times where chicken wings have taken over an hour to come out, which is a "should not occur"). However, at least I don't dread coming here anymore.

We saw a street parking as soon as we turn, and just parked even though it was 1000 ft away. The drink/cocktail list is vast, but we are not much of a cocktail drinker and not usually drink during lunch, but I saw Matcha Sharka being ordered a lot and the other seemingly popular drink was this lavender drink. If you are a cocktail drinker during lunch, do check them out. We ordered 4 shareable items: * Savoy Donuts - 5 stars - fluffy and yummy, not greasy at all * Focaccia w/ Meyer Lemon and Garlic Confit - 4.5 stars - wonderful texture, did not taste the garlic much but the lemon was really good add. * Grilled Beef and Pork Chipolata - 4 stars - I think the star was the dressing. The meat itself was just okay. * Rice Vermicelli Bowl - 4.5 stars - not sure why it is called a bowl when it was served more in a plate. This is the fusion take on the Vietnamese dish with different dressing. We selected the Galangal Pork, which I did not like as much compared to the usual Vietnamese ones with Lemon Grass. There is a choice to select Lemongrass chicken instead, so you might want to try that. The pork tasted "porky" despite it was thinly cut. I was hoping to try dessert, but we were full so we did not do that. Next time. The restaurant is nicely set, and you can select indoor or outdoor seating. We did make a reservation, but when we arrived there were plenty of tables available. Service was fine, we did not get the "is this your first time" greeting as I heard other tables got. Quality/Quantity - This has been booked marked for a while to visit. Overall the food was okay, but NO ventilation?!?! All foods come out on a piping hot sizzling cast iron platter which smoked up the place! I feel sorry for the waitress. Korean BBQ restaurants have ventilation on each table which would make a slightly more comfortable environment. Salmon & Rib Eye Yakiniku with Rice - My wife enjoyed it and actually finished her entire entree. Decent flavors. The quantity is for 1 person. Chicken Garlic Butter Egg Noodles - Substituted rice with egg noodles for $1 more. Well these are NOT egg noodles in my opinion. More like ramen noodles...? Anyway, it had decent quantities of chicken. I had to give 25% of it to my daughter. Well, we ended up taking the leftover chicken with her leftover beef home. Beef Udon. Add Kimchi + $1.50 - Again, with good flavors. The udon noodles were of good quality. Generous beef that we/she took her leftovers to-go. Ambiance - A very small location. I think there are just 7 tables. And because this place was so small, the smoke from the sizzling platters filled up the place. Open 6 days a week. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Good. Price - $56 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2019. Are you a franchise?

When it came time to take food to go, we had to ask for the container, bags, and the right sized containers and the right sized bags. The older woman with the jet black hair was the one who rude and dismissive. When I asked her for a larger bag, she said that was the largest one. I pointed out that we gave them a very generous tip and that I see larger brown bags, but she still did not offer me one.
